Feel bad for AFC. They are going to get spanked tomorrow.
I genuinely believe that we can get over 4+ goals.
This is the worst Arsenal side, in my memory and I've been following football since the mid 90s.
IMO, AFC's squad needs to be completely replaced. Not one of their players is good enough to be in a team to make top 4.
While I agree with you in spirit (their entire squad needs rebuilding and almost everybody is crap, or in crap form), the "not one player" is technically wrong, because Aubameyang is world-class. Aubameyang could walk into any club, not just EPL but even Barca or Real Madrid.

Which is probably also why Aubameyang already told Arteta he wants to go :) At least if media reporting is correct about it, but it's easily believable.

Arteta may be pulling his hairs off, if he is starting to realize just what level of shitshow he walked into.

All that said, this game can be hard for us and we need to do our best to win it. Too important.

Yep me too. Arteta won’t want to get stuffed so he’ll be playing conservatively I reckon. Might be a bit of a nail biter.
How conservatively though? Arsenals strengths are to get their forwards into the game quickly. If he abandons that In favour of a counter attacking game, I don’t see it being as successful

I was only jesting. It would take an outrageous offer for the club to consider selling its star asset at such a pivotal stage of the season. I mean it's not like we're in desperate need of the funds.

Luckhurst is stirring the pot again.
He has 18 months on his contract and we wouldn't want to really lose him over nothing, or risk having an upset player in the dressing room. Seems pointless, if he wants to go let him go.

Think he is getting at Pogba missing the last game because Ole said it was too soon after the previous games. So why is he missing now, is he injured again?

Didn't know Pog is out for the arsenal game. Between this and Raiola wanting to move him, I'm slowing leaning towards him leaving in summer.:(

If he wants out then sure, sell him off to the highest bidder, but surely he can wait until the summer arrives, giving the club time to prepare for his departure. He would still demand a substantial fee with a year left on his contract, no?

We're already horribly understocked in the midfield area, to the point that an injury or two could spark a genuine crisis, so selling Pogba would be tantamount to suicide. I can't believe the club would consider allowing him to leave in January. That's just bad business.

Agree 100%. We need good result in the league and to fight for the EL. Let's not be irrationally sentimental by unnecessarily chasing League Cup or FA Cup "silverware". Seriously, nobody cares for those. Not when you have bigger fish to fry.
totally disagree, what ever silverware you are playing for you should play your best available squad, other wise what is the point of being in it, never been a fan of player a much weaken team, it devalues the competition and to an extent mocks the team you playing against.

Wow. Have you ever watched FA Cup and League Cup games? No top team puts their best squad on the pitch, until the very end.

We can only win this game if the players are focused and execute the plan to press and counter press right away as much as possible, and go for the ball without being afraid. If we do so, we will get chances. We will have to decide how we want to play, chances are AWB will be strong defensively so we will allow the right side to attack, we know that already. It happens to be Aubameyang for them, though they are switching a bit more with Artera.

The left side, I wonder if it will be Shaw or Williams. Williams attack more, but Shaw seems to be slightly better at defending. Williams can be used to propose solutions. And I am pretty sure Rashford and James or Greenwood will stay up there to test their full backs. Up to Artera to see if he's going to respect our pace or ignore it and try to impose his game. If he respects it, I think Greenwood is better because if their defense stays low, he can stay higher up on the field and be in a scoring position. If they ignore it, we know the answer  .

Also, I think Arteta wants to press but I am pretty sure they are not fit for that. So I think in the second half, we will get tons of chances since our players are more used now to that kind of fitness. We will make better decisions than them on the pitch.

I imagine they probably think this about us too. And they'd be right.

Nope. 18 months is all that remains.

He wasn't spotted travelling with the team from Manchester, but it doesn't mean he might not already be in London.

Chances are though he's probably not playing.

Wonder what the excuse is now if Pogba isn’t in the final 18 man squad for tomorrow against Arsenal?

I thought Pogba would be back in the squad after missing the Burnley game, however we have shown that we can win tricky away games without him.

I am more worried about this game if we go into it 7 pts off Chelsea because think Utd will feel that we should be closer and might be a bit disheartened.

He didn't train yesterday and apparently he wasn't on the boat to London so everyone thinks he's been sold to RM already.
His agent just announced he’s unhappy with his locker assignment at RM, already turned in his boots, heading to PSG.

He didn't travel to London. Apparently he was in France attending a charity match during the Burnley game.

    1) He could already be in London.
    2) He's pissing us about and should be sold.

    Take your pick.

If he was in France the most logical conclusion is surely he just made his own way to London

I’m not saying that’s definitely what happened, but seems way more likely than him suddenly going rogue

I would say it's possible, because he watched the game, as far as I understand, from a French TV. I noticed that on his instagram video about Martial goal for Burnley, the comments were in French.

He was watching from home on Canal+
I remember someone posted a shot of him with his Sharp tv and his picture on the table..

    so googled.

He posted an insta story. The shelf has pictures of him.. his kids toys were in the shot as well. and he has a United jersey on as well.

Think Arsenal will be up for it. Arteta is a relatively new manager so he might be full of surprises. Not an easy game at all, Arsenal have a big chance to win this game.

I'd rest Pogba once again and have him replace either Fred or Pereira in the second half. It fecking sucks having Mctominay injured, we really need the midfield reinforcements right now.

Have James come in for Rashford or Greenwood, and Lingard in the latter stages because I feel we'll be chasing a goal.

    2-1 win for Arsenal.
Agreed, but i think it will be a draw. Arsenal was wounded in the Chelsea's come back win. And luis would be up for it. The whole team would be fighting for it.
