I think we'll struggle here, mainly because Grealish creates so much. Luckily their strikers are dog shit but I'm counting on a mistake from the backline/De Gea for their goal.

If Grealish plans to come to United, then it’s actually not in his Best interests to play very well this time - any points lost may deprive us (and Grealish if he joins) of CL...

They're rubbish but they desperately need to find a result from somewhere. They have Liverpool before us and so they're running out of games they can write off. We need to score early and hopefully their heads will drop.

Team should be the same again, including Bailly (assuming Lindelof isn't able to play). Get the ball to Mason Greenwood in the penalty area.

We could be six points behind Leicester and five behind Chelsea by the time we kick off here.

    We must win!

So he should turn around and score some own goals to help us with GD? I hope he plays his best.

He’ll be bang up for it and will try to perform to his highest possible standard. Anything else would be a massive slight on his character and a right turn off anyway

We need to start resting and rotating. We have games coming up real fast in a short space of time. Hopefully we start like we did against Brighton and the big players get taken off at HT.

We don't need to rest anybody.. keep going.

We will most likely be further away from top 4 going into this so we need to keep pushing first for the W and second to improving our GD.

On the other hand, Chelsea and Leicester may drop points and will give us the motivation to catch them.
I can see Leicester dropping points maybe with the way Arsenal are playing. But not Chelsea with the way they and Palace are playing.

I am guessing they have earlier kickoff times than we do.
Yes - Chelsea and Leicester play their two games on Tuesday, while we play Villa on Thursday. Looking at the sequence of games, we are playing catch-up for a while now.

As you say, it could well be that one/both of them drop points somewhere, but it could also be that we're under constant pressure to stop the gap stretching out to six points. Squeeky bum time, as a great man once said.

Bailly for Lindelof. Rest of the team the same.
Smash them 3 0 first half, 4 changes at half time. Finish them with 2 more goals and get the last sub in at 80mins.
    Kind Regards.

Everyone can beat everyone in the Premier League. We're not winning this unless we show up ready to fight for it. We're certainly favorites but by no means should anyone consider this a walkover

Villa Park has always been a happy hunting ground for us so it's odd but I'm worried. Once again, it depends how we start. If it's like against Brighton fine but if we let them get comfortable, and give them confidence, we might struggle to break them down. Villa are, in my mind, better defensively than Bournemouth and Brighton so I can't see this being a walkover. And we certainly will need to defend better than we did on Saturday

Plenty of rest before this one, so hopefully same again.
I'd like Mengi to get on the bench.... Garner and Mejbri would be pushing it

But if we're to take a substantial lead, it'd be nice to see some of the lads get a run out

It'll be interesting to see what Old does at CB if Lindelof is out, does he risk Bailly? Will he drop Matic in? Maybe McTominay as Neville seems to think he's suited to CB?

NO! We simply start Bailly if Lindelof isn't fit, I don't get why it's a 'risk'?

Bailly is fine. He’s a seasoned international and started lots of games for us in his first and second season. Don’t people say we need pace in the middle? He’s the one who can also provide it

Must win. Can’t be dropping points in games like these.

Go as strong as possible and look to make a few changes for the Southampton home game a few days after.
