Smalling's injury is a big blow, hopefully it'll only be a 2 week deal. I am guessing the 2 young fullbacks will play and unfortunately so will Fellaini unless Ander makes a miraculous recovery that isn't in need of match rhythm nonsense before he can play.

Tough one until we get the presser on Friday for injury updates. Rooney, Herrera, and Jones all have slim chances to be ready I believe, though I think (probably with the exception of Rooney) that they'd start on the bench if fit. I'd also guess that only one of them will make it. It also doesn't help that Schweinsteiger will probably be suspended.

Can't see much else being viable. Rooney, Young, Herrera, Jones, Powell, Pereira, Goss, Rashford etc all possible bench options.

Bournemouth do have 9 injuries as well like us, so we'll just have to deal with it. Any win will do here and against Norwich - then, hopefully we'll have some more players back for Stoke and Chelsea.

if no-one is back from injury then that's the team I would play. I think Herrera might be back and possibly Schneiderlin/Rooney. If Rooney is back then put him on the bench & if Schneiderlin is back start him with Herrera and put Carrick at CB.
