Brentford Football Club (nicknamed The Bees) is a professional football club based in Brentford, West London, England. The club was founded in October 1889, as the local sportsmen's latest attempt to form a permanent football or rugby club in the town. By 1896, Brentford had joined the London League, progressing to the Southern League in 1898 and entering the Football League in 1920. Upon the appointment of Harry Curtis as manager in 1926 came the beginning of Brentford's most successful period, with promotions in 1933 and 1935 taking the club into the top-flight of English football for the first time in its history. Three consecutive top-six finishes in the First Division established Brentford as one of the top clubs in England, but a decline began in 1938 which led to the club's relegation back to the Third Division South by 1954.

Recently, after two failed playoff campaigns in six Championship seasons, Brentford were promoted into the Premier League after victory in the 2021 Championship play-off Final (reaching the highest level of the English football pyramid for the first time since the 1946–47 season). Brentford's main rivals are Fulham and Queens Park Rangers. The club have a long standing rivalry with Fulham. In the past this fixture has been marred by crowd violence. Brentford's rivalry with Queens Park Rangers intensified in 1967, when Rangers failed in an attempted takeover of the Bees, a move which, had it succeeded, would have seen Rangers move into Griffin Park and Brentford quit the Football League. Brentford play their home games at the Brentford Community Stadium.

Rotate massively. Give the likes of Shaw, Amad & De Ligt minutes to build fitness.

Bilbao second leg is way more important. Yes we have 3-0 lead but let’s not take any chances. I’m not arsed if we lose this as long as we get to the final.

    Onana
Lindelof - De Ligt - Shaw
    Dorgu - Ugarte - Mainoo - Amass
    Amad - Obi - Mount

De Ligt, Mainoo, Mount, Amad, Shaw all need minutes. Bruno, Maguire, Mazraoui, Garnacho, Rasmus, Casemiro all need resting.

I really want to see Kamason at RWB get some action.

Beautiful night, and the beautiful game delivered, With the most beautiful club beautiful fans and we are on our way to winning this trophy UNITED!!!!

Brentford have just blown Forest out of a CL place tonight, in Nottingham, beating them 2-0.

They have a good chance of getting a Europa spot, with a couple more wins, so expect them to be up for this fixture.

Even if we are resting players and not trying to risk injuries, before the return Europa game, we need to get returning players into match day form.

    .

If Brentford don't win this 5-0 I'll be furious. Play me.

    Bayindir
    Lindelof De Ligt Shaw
    Amad Collyer Eriksen Amass
    Mount Mainoo
    Chido

Bayindir could do with a game. No harm in giving Onana the weekend off.
Lindelof should be plenty fresh to play so we can rest Maz.
De Ligt, Amad, Mount and Shaw can hopefully get 60 minutes
Hopefully Collyer or Kone could start
Eriksen, Mainoo, and Amass could do with 90 minutes, and let Chido have a full game to see what he can do.

Bruno starts because Bruno starts...but won't go 90. If Collyer were healthy, he'd start over Ugarte but maybe Kone gets time. De Ligt and Amad get the start to get some minutes but don't go 90 so they can be ready to start on Thursday.

Outcome of this game is meaningless. Everything is about next Thursday.

    Altay
    Lindelof De Ligt Shaw
    Dorgu Ugarte Eriksen Amass
    Mount Mainoo
    Hojlund

Fredricson for Shaw after an hour, Amad for Dorgu at half, and then probably Obi coming on at some point. Just need to manage and keep players fresh for Thursday.

    Bayindir

    Lindelof De Ligt Fredricson

    Amad Moorhouse Eriksen Amass

    Mount Mainoo

    Obi

Yoro, Højlund, Bruno, Maguire, Casemiro should be no where neat the pitch for this match. Rest them.
Give more minutes to Mount, Shaw, De Ligt, Amad etc, to get back to match fitness.

casa needs to be protected. He is the one who seems to have the mentality to stand up against Spanish dark arts. Mag as well if he is not fully fit. Doesnt care for any one else as of now . Bruno wont rest so its pointless

Minutes for Amad and Deligt, start for Mount, some mins for Amass, Chido and Frederickson as well.

Amad looked sharp but I'd probably still only give him 45. Being 3 up he's got time now to build up his fitness as we're not desperate for him to play 90 next week.

Same for Shaw really, probably another 45/60 in the next 2 games.

Mount, Mainoo, Amass, Lindelof, Eriksen should all be nailed on starters.

    Onana
Lindelof - De Ligt - Shaw
    Amad - Ugarte - Eriksen - Amass
    Mainoo - Obi - Mount

Play the kids and the reserves - United need to concentrate on the Europa....

Couldn't care less about this, just play the second string who need minutes and the youth.

    Bayindir

    Lindelof De Ligt Fredricson

    Amad Moorhouse Eriksen Amass

    Mount Mainoo

    Obi
That midfield.... Moorhouse is far more suited to the 10 role in Amorim's system, it would look better if you changed Mainoo and Moorhouse I think but Eriksen vs Brentford means we have 10 men anyway

Nothing game, rest everyone, even Ruben - we need his brain power for next Thursday.

I'm not even convinced the team will bother turning up :0)

Im not a fan of this, nothing to play for, shove anyone in. Whereby i understand why, I think these last 3 games we could gain so much out of it if we completely played the youth. There is no benefit of Lindeloff having another game, nor erikson, they are certain to leave.

    Bayinder( or a youth GK)

Fredikson de ligt (match fitness) Shaw (match fitness)

Amad (match fitness) kone moorhouse amas

Mainoo (match fitness) mount (match fitness)

    Chido

We just got to let them go out there and play with no fear.

I wouldn't start Shaw. Give him another 30mins. Don't push him too much too soon. Amass or even Fredricson should start. Reward one of them for their good performance lately.

If Bruno gets injured in a meaningless premier league game and is out for the season we’re not winning the Europa. That’s clear as day.

Although Bruno does seem to be the sort of player that gets stronger the more he plays. Tough one.

Going to be another heavily rotated side you would think for this one.

That win last night means Brentford still have an outside shot of a European place if the conference spot does end up going to 8th in the league.

If they avoid defeat is this one then they're guaranteed to finish above us, bet we never thought we'd finish below Brentford 20 years ago.

For us the league is maybe just a bit of pride to play for can we scrap a few places higher but really it's just about avoiding injuries.

If think we'll rotate and probably end up losing the one thing that might work for us is brentford don't normally have to deal with the challenge of playing twice in a week.

    Onana
Fredricson - De Ligt - Shaw
    Amad - Ugarte - Eriksen - Amass
    Mainoo - Mount
    Obi

Shaw, Amad and Mainoo most likely only 45-60 minutes. Mainoo and Eriksen could also change position. Don’t think Altay will play for us again this season

    Bayindir
Lindelof - De Ligt - Fredericson
    Amad - Ugarte - Mainoo - Amass
    Eriksen - Mount
    Obi

This would mean completely different 11 which doesn't usually happen but let's see. This way Fredericson, Amass and Obi get a chance, while also Mount and Maino start a game finally. Wouldn't play Amad whole game, one half or 60 minutes.

Give Shaw whole of 2nd half instead of Fredericson or Amass. Bring on Dorgu or Mazraoui on instead of Amad at halftime or at some point in 2nd half. Bring Bruno and Hojlund on at some point as well.

If it is this lineup not sure our midfield would cope with Brentford but would be interesting at least.

Just no injuries and don't care much about the result. Play the kids, it's all in for the Europa league.
