    Key is to start as well as in the previous games and actually score first. Kelleher is top, we need to be clinical.

    Don’t think so. Yoro has been pretty poor lately and should be dropped just like anybody else if the performance is not there. Heaven does not seem ready for PL yet imo and better to ramp up slowly.

    We all know that the most pressing issue in our squad, is the lack of CM quality and depth.
    Specifically in the CDM role.
    With Casemiro suspended and young Collyer out on loan, all we have available today is Ugarte.

    In the CDM role, Mainoo is not that player.
    Whatever his undoubted qualities in possession and carrying the ball, in defensive work, he's far too slow, lacks short distance speed and agility, he doesn't posses the anticipation and positional skills for CM defensive duties and lacks physical robustness.
    If he plays in CM, it has to be either in a 3, or alongside a top CDM in the peak Casimiro, or dare I say, Rodri mold.
    With Bruno continuing to play in that deeper role (which I don't like), there is no option but to play Ugarte.
    Anything else would be suicide.

    Yoro hasn’t had a mini rough spell.

    We play one game a week until the end of the season.

    Might be just me, but there seemed to be a lot focusing on defending set pieces in the warm up shown, to me, doing that before the game shows a negative mindset. All that work should be done during the week. Now right before the game, I think you're just putting fear and doubt into the players.
     
    Brentford has the 2nd fastest front line in the league, putting them up against the slow Maguire and Shaw is a complete mis-match and could well end in disaster
     
    I get the argument that we need a defensive mid next to bruno, and I want to ignore the problem with bruno being in midfield, its been done too many times.

    But here's the thing. I think Mainoo could play that defensive role better than ugarte, who is hopeless. Good plays can adapt, bad players are always bad.
