    Just as we grind out a win to try kickstart our season and a back to back for the first time under Amorim, we go to one of our bogey team's grounds.

    That being said, they are weakened a lot this season and quite frankly have looked as poor as us. So there's slight hope of grinding another win here, but going 1-1 as he will likely pick Altay again and he can't buy a clean sheet.

    Makes more sense to do this than play Bayindir. He's going to have to deal with a physical side at some point, it's the premier League
     
    For as much as Brentford have been poor on the road they’re 4/6 at home beating Villa and drawing with Chelsea.
    Win here and we start to build a bit of momentum
     
    Maguire has to start this one, he'll be needed for their set-pieces.
     
    Our record away at Brentford isn't promising. They also haven't managed to lose a game at home yet this season, beating Aston Villa and drawing against Chelsea.

    On top of this, our team has time and again become complacent after big wins.

    So all in all, this is not an easy obstacle for Amorim and Co. to overcome. Fingers crossed and hope our strategy of early pressure pays off again.
     
    I’d look to play Mount next to Bruno in the midfield two with Case suspended. If not for this game I think it’d be worth the try at some point. He can cover the ground, doesn’t shirk from the physical side and can play forward into the front 3 easily.

    Think he’d be clever enough to hold his position and not go gallavanting up field as well.
     
    Cunha didn't look fully fit against Chelsea. I'll be surprised if he starts. Pleasantly so!
     
    A full week to prepare, no excuses really. Brentford's best player now plays for United.

    I did like the added muscle of De Ligt and Maguire against Chelsea, starting them both again might be the way to go.
     
    Perfect game to start Lammens… he’s bonded with the squad now. Brentford and Sunderland next before Liverpool. Get him in
     
    I get the calls for Lammens to start but Bayindir hasn't really done a lot wrong, he's been solid.
     
    Onwards and upwards. I love the fact that we have a strong set of subs to come on later in games. Need everyone to just get into the groove and we should do well with no Euopean distractions this season.

    He’s still a liability… can’t really go of the Chelsea game as he had nothing to do against a team that made defensive changes early.
     
    Lammens please, the sooner we move from Altay the quicker we can move on. Altay has been below average and that should not be our goal keeper standards. Every shot on our goal seems it will be going in.

    I would start Mount and Mbuemo behind Sesko as Mount's pressing is needed and I would like Sesko to keep building his minutes in the premier league. He is giving us a presense in the front which also led to the red card.

    Amad should be benched as his performances have been below standard and Amorim needs to ask him to get focused again.

    Yes id drop sesko for a bit, I highly rate him but I think he needs time and the pressure off for now. Cunha can play up top and if not him, put mbeumo there. Bruno has to be a 10, he cannot play in the middle. I'd drop amad for now, keep Shaw at lcb until licha is back snd if mount is fit, he has to play. I like mainoo and want to see more, it wont happen but here is hoping.
     
    Really hope we are focusing on long throw in weapon so need to play those defenders strongest aerially
     
    I liked the defense of De Ligt - Maguire - Shaw although would be ok to swap Shaw with Yoro. Start Maz and bring Amad on at around 50.
     
    Brentford without the pace of Wissa and Mbeumo is a completely different team
     
    They'll look to hit us on the break and have done well doing that so far this season. Think we'll see pretty much the same lineup with Cunha & Ugarte coming in. Lammens will start the next game.

    Time to put the "Not cutting my hair until Manchester United wins 5 games in a row" out of his absolute misery
     
    Having lost their two best forwards, Brentford are not as potent as they were last season, but they’re still difficult to beat at home.
    Unless a genuine turning point was reached with the Chelsea victory, we could be looking at a disappointing draw.
    Our forwards need to start scoring goals !

    If we're serious about getting back into Europe than we really should be able to go away to teams like Brentford and get all three points.

    They aren't the same team as last year and we have improved.

    This game will tell a lot about the mentality of our players. We need to go out there and impose ourselves.

    Would love to see Cunha and Sesko open their accounts so hopefully that happens as well -- but 3 points are a must!
     
    if we can't beat a Brentford team that have lost 2 of their big players (wissa and mbuemo) then there is absolutely no hope for this team and manager.
     
    Set pieces aside Damsgaard is their biggest threat. Without his passes they will struggle so close him down and it’ll be three points I think.

    Hoping to see the intensity and aggression we started with against Chelsea. We looked really hard to cope with and it ultimately won us the game.

    Surely Lammens has to start.
