Perfect game to start Lammens… he’s bonded with the squad now. Brentford and Sunderland next before Liverpool. Get him in
Bayindir won’t be dropped at the moment . He did nothing wrong v Chelsea

    Would like to see:

    ----------------------Lammens

    ------Maz-------------MDL-----------Yoro

    Amad------Mainoo--------Bruno----------Dorgu

    --------Mbeumo-----Sesko---------Cunha

It'll likeliest be: Bayindir in goals, Amad bench (& Maz RWB with Shaw coming in at LCB), Ugarte for Mainoo.
Maguire is probably going to be the 1st man on the team sheet and Lammens won’t be starting .

Hoping to see the intensity and aggression we started with against Chelsea. We looked really hard to cope with and it ultimately won us the game.

    Surely Lammens has to start.

No chance Bayandir gets dropped after his chelsea performance.

We need to win this at all cost.

Would be great to win two in a row.

Would be also great to beat a team we usually struggle.

I won't change Bayindir, as we need stability

    1-0 victory hopefully
    ----------------------------------------------------Bayindir-------------------------------------------------------
    --------------------------------Yoro-------------De Ligt---------------Shaw---------------------------------
    Amad------------------------------Ugarte----------------Casemiro------------------------------Dorgu
    ------------------------------------------Mbeumo--------Cunha----------------------------------------------
    -----------------------------------------------------Sesko----------------------------------------------------------

    It will be

    Altay
    Harry De ligt Shaw
    Maz Ugarte Bruno Dorgu
    Mbuemo Sesko Amad

There are no easy away games in the Premiership
Brentford drew with Chelsea at home.

As we now have their best player it should be enough for the win

if we can't beat a Brentford team that have lost 2 of their big players (wissa and mbuemo) then there is absolutely no hope for this team and manager.

3 - they also lost their captain to Arsenal.

Need to win at all cost and you're not playing our captain? Wtf?

    Heaton

    Maguire
    De Ligt
    Yoro

    Dorgu
    Mazaroui
    Ugarte
    Shaw

    Mount
    Sesko
    Bruno

Play for long throws and corners.

I would reserve Sesko to start only home games...
Wouldn't mind a front 3 of Mbeumo, Cunha and Bruno.
Midfield: Mainoo and Ugarte (not like there is much choice there).
    Wingbacks: Dorgu and Amad.
    CBs: Yoro, Delight, Maz.
    Keeper: ....

    It will be

    Altay
    Harry De ligt Shaw
    Maz Ugarte Bruno Dorgu
    Mbuemo Sesko Amad

Why no Cunha? Played a decent amount of time in the last game and has another week to prepare. I don't see him not starting this unless we have a setback.

This team started so well last game so why change.
We can bring Cunha and Mount on later to finish the game.

Surely Amorim can win two in a row at some point? Hopefully it’s this weekend.

Casemiro won't be playing, he'll be suspended.

I know it’s not going to happen but I’d like to see us try a back 3 of Yoro, Maguire and De ligt. That’s pace and dominant in the air and De ligt who wins a lot of his duels. This could help us more solid and not leak as many goals.

Hopefully. Win on Saturday and then we probably get 3 in a row for the first time in what seems like forever. Can’t see us not winning Sunderland

Missed the Chelsea game as was away watching my local team play. Now going to be missing this game too as away to Dublin for the NFL. If we win this game too then I might as well boycott the rest of the season

I am holding you for this! If we win I will start a petition!

I think he has to start MDL and Maguire here in the back 3. Brentford will be pelting the box with long balls and throw-ins. Difficult choice for the third, Maz, Yoro & Shaw all have good claims. Think he might stick with Shaw after his performance against Chelsea. The CM’s are a big question mark with Casemiro’s ban. Does he trust Ugarte? If Cunha is not fit enough, but I think he will be, he could play Ugarte & Mainoo with Bruno at 10. Going to be interesting how he lines up. Most on here thought his selection for Chelsea was wrong, but they came storming out of the blocks and really rattled Chelsea. Looking forward to this. We should have a very good chance of 3 points if they turn up.

Yeah, someone here posted Brentford being quite dangerous on set pieces. So Maguire could be crucial, and MDL at RCB wasn't actually too shabby either.

They start long throws from the first minute, absolute menace on set plays. Away crowd will also be up for it because of the whole Mbeumo saga. It's going to be a shit show.

Just as we grind out a win to try kickstart our season and a back to back for the first time under Amorim, we go to one of our bogey team's grounds.

That being said, they are weakened a lot this season and quite frankly have looked as poor as us. So there's slight hope of grinding another win here, but going 1-1 as he will likely pick Altay again and he can't buy a clean sheet.
As poor as us ? We are not mint but have been much better then them. We draw against Fulham, they lost there.

Yeah, they'll be up for it. Will be interesting to hear what sort of reception Mbeumo gets. He was way more respectful versus someone like Wissa.

Really hoping we can get 3 points in this match with a bit of a dominant performance. Would be nice to see some of the forward players to get on the scoresheet, such as Sesko and Cunha.

Getting a few wins before the Liverpool match would be helpful!

Time to put the "Not cutting my hair until Manchester United wins 5 games in a row" out of his absolute misery

I really feel this game is massive for our season. Like, really massive.

If we win and record back to back league wins for the first time in over a season, we can then bounce into the next game at home to Sunderland with much more confidence and hopefully get ourselves another win and be in the top six with some real momentum.

If we draw it will be another “ok” result that just keeps us in this stagnant rut we’re in.

Lose and there will be huge media pressure on Amorim’s job again for the Sunderland game.

    Huge. Potentially season-defining.

    I think we might win.

Brentford have been hard to beat at home. I hope we win but I think it isn’t a foregone conclusion as some here seem to suggest.

It's time for this group to put two wins together and gain some momentum, but it's hard to see them doing it. Got to keep the hope though!

    Bayindir
    Yoro De Ligt Shaw
    Mazraoui Mainoo Ugarte Dorgu
    Mbuemo Bruno
    Sesko

I'd like us to go with this with the expectation that Amad, Cunha, Casemiro, and Maguire probably replace Mazraoui, Yoro, Mainoo and Ugarte from the start against Sunderland. Probably more likely that Bruno continues in midfield and he might start Cunha or Mount as one of the 10's.

I think we need big fellas for this game- so Maguire, Sesko, de light, Yoro, Dorgu all has to start to cope with their physicality. If we cope with their long, direct balls, I think we’ll be fine. I think Mbeumo will be scoring a few. He looks sharp

Hoping for Lammens but it's probably going to be Bayındır.
    Lammens
de Ligt - Maguire - Shaw
    Mazraoui - Ugarte - Fernandes - Dorgu
    Mbeumo - Cunha
