    What Id like to see:

    Lammens

    Yoro De Ligt Shaw

    Amad Bruno Mainoo Dorgu

    Mbuemo Sesko Cunha

    What we’ll probably get:

    Bayinder

    De Ligt Maguire Shaw

    Mazaroui Bruno Ugarte Dorgu

    Mbeumo Sesko Cunha
I was hoping Mount can get a start. He’s so important for the press he works his socks off. I just can’t see who to take out

Ye mount seems better when starting games as in most of our games this season we’ve started off really good but then drifted as the games gone on. Our pressing in the first like 15/20 mins as been very good and causes mistakes from the opposition

think this will be a Maguire and De Ligt game given Brentford aerial threat. Would like to see Lammens and Sesko too add a bit of strength in that sense

Mainoo hopefully gets the nod ahead of Ugarte

We did look good with Mbeumo, Mount and Cunha, so maybe we drop Sesko but I don't like the idea. Especially against a 5-3-2 low block, you need box presence.

That’s why I can’t see who to drop. Maybe Mount plays the first half and swap for one of the front 3 once the opposition are tired. Can’t work it out who to replace. Mbeumo and cunha been excellent and can’t play without a focal point.
But Mount seems to be the instigator to press and push the opposition back

I don’t really care what Brentford did or didn’t do at home this season. After the summer they’ve had, they are a shadow of what they were. Just relegation fodder now and their position on the table reflects that. Unfortunately, United’s inability to score goals and defend set pieces will be playing a part here.

No result is out of the question, but it’s high time this coach showed he can do a job.

    This 100%

I can see Amorim starting with Mount instead of Sesko. I’d just like to Sesko get off the mark before the inevitable pressure starts building and he’s called a flop by the pundits.

Perhaps depends who s fittest out of Mount and Cunha?

I'd rather start with Sesko so Mount can come in to make an impact if we need it. Don't think Sesko can alter a match currently, he's still learning but he needs that goal. Mount makes more sense as an impact sub.

He's gettting up to speed and will have a point to prove. our team need to get used to him and with Bayindir in the goal hoofing every other ball in a touch away game, he should be trusted over Mount whose fitness should be managed. If Dorgu plays he can put in decent crosses from deep and we should try the same from the right from Mbeumo.

Would be good to see Lammens starting and Mbeumo, Cunha, Sesko finally. It'll almost certainly be Mount and Bayindir though and I'm sure he'll squeeze in Dalot.

Team news, following players out for tomorrow:

    Amad (compassionate leave)
    Maz (out till international break)
    Licha and Case.

Fortunately none are serious and all should be available after the break.

Will be interesting to see if Dalot is ready given two of our RWBs are out.

Shame about Mazraoui - he was excellent last week.

Saw Dalot in some pics in the new training gear this week so unless they were taken previously I assume he’s back.

Was just going to post this. Was so great having Maz back.

I think we’re in relatively good shape given we should be at 100% fitness going into Liverpool immediately following the break.

Dalot + Dorgu as wingbacks then.

Really worried about a set piece specialist manager in charge of Brentford vs Altay in goal

Maybe Dorgu right and Shaw on the left ?

Depends on Dalot’s fitness. If he’s fit and ready, I expect him to play.

Think my most confident of any game under Amorim save some of the EL fixtures, Brentford minus Frank, Wissa, Mbuemo and with 35 year old Jordan Henderson in the middle. Think we could really do a number on them. 4-1.

2 things I need to see from the team under this manager. A few wins in a row. And a comfortable win now and then. I remember him winning 4-0 vs Everton early on, I'd say that was the only comfortable win he's had.

Frustrating that Mazraoui is out again. Hopefully not a sign of things to come. So no Amad, no Mazra, means it is Dalot by default. The only other option is to play Dorgu RWB and Leon at LWB, which is not happening.

Doubtful but Shaw could play LWB.

Yeah, like you say, doubtful. I even think it's a stretch for him to play LB. He doesn't have the burst of speed any more, loves to pick up early bookings, and then he's walking a tight rope. At LWB his body is not up to it.

Would rather play Mount as a RWB than Dalot I think.

Since Amad and Maz are both out, and we don't want to rush both Cunha or Mount back out there since they're both coming back from injuries. I expect the starting 11 to look like.

    ----------------Lammens
-------Yoro --- De Ligt --- Shaw
    Dorgu --- Ugarte --- Mainoo --- Leon
    ---------- Mbeumo --- Bruno
    ------------------ Sesko

Just me that would like to see Mbeumo RWB vs these? That way you can start Mount and Cunha behind Sesko.

    Lammens
    Yoro DeLigt Shaw
    Dalot(?) Mount Bruno Dorgu
    Mbeumo Cunha
    Sesko
    If Dalot is not fit….
    Lammens
    Yoro DeLigt Shaw
    Mbeumo Ugarte Bruno Dorgu
    Mount Cunha
    Sesko

I'll keep picking Lammens in my predicted XI since at some point we have to give him a run out - Brentford and Sunderland seem like a good chance for him to get a feel of the pace and style of the PL before assessing whether he's ready for the Liverpool game.

I think if they were worried about Cunha's health, they wouldn't have put him on that wet and cold field last week. Plus he's had another full week or treatment and training. I think we finally get to see a Cunha/Mbuemo/Sesko front line.

Cunha is definitely starting. He was fit for Chelsea's game.

Dalot will also start, there's no way Leon starts. By reports he's looked shaky in the U21 games so he's definitely not ready to start in the premier league.
