Since Amad and Maz are both out, and we don't want to rush both Cunha or Mount back out there since they're both coming back from injuries. I expect the starting 11 to look like.

    ----------------Lammens
-------Yoro --- De Ligt --- Shaw
    Dorgu --- Ugarte --- Mainoo --- Leon
    ---------- Mbeumo --- Bruno
    ------------------ Sesko
Harry Maguire says hi to long throws

This is another problem with the system. If any of our serviceable wing backs (most of whom look like they're only doing a stop gap role anyway) are unavailable, then we're left having to fit the squarest of square pegs in round holes just to fill that position.

Mbeumo and Mount having to fill in as wing backs, sheesh

Brentford are nowhere near the team they was when they had Mbuemo, Wissa and Frank. No excuse for not getting 3 pts

Can United win 2 games in a row under Amorim? I actually think it might happen this weekend.
I think Lammens will make his debut against Brentford. It think Amorim did not want to risk him against a team like Chelsea or City. But if Lammens keeps sitting on the bench instead of Bayindir, then he must be a really bad keeper.

Case is suspended. Annoying that both Maz and Amad can’t play cause fecking useless Dalot gets to play!

Yes, thats the only logical and most rational explanation.

Nope. He is young, new to the PL and the team and had no preseason. He will be given chances in due course. Sesko wasn't immediately given starting spots.

Will Dalot be thrown back in straight away. Not normally Amorims style is it. Would make more sense to move Dorgu across and use Shaw on the left before bringing Dalot on after half time. Surely Shaw can handle 45 mins on the wing.

    Line up like this

    Lammens

    De ligt Maguire Yoro

    Dorgu Mainoo Bruno Shaw

    Mbuemo Sesko Cunha

Results in London went from very good to poor in a short space of time hopefully things take a turn for the better tomorrow.

    • Between February 2020 and January 2022, Manchester United went 13 Premier League games without defeat in London (W8 D5). Since then, they’ve lost 15 of 24 visits to the capital (W3 D6).

A large amount of that was due to us going unbeaten away from him in Ole’s third season, and also because from June 2020 to May 2021, stadiums were empty.

Leon is far from being ready. He hasn't been impressing in the u21s.

The likes of Mount, Mbeumo or Shaw will be more likely to be entrusted at wing-back.

If United consider bringing in any youngsters it would make more sense to have Kamason in the squad as a back-up, as he appears a bit less raw than Leon and is at least a natural at RWB.

We’re winning this and finally getting those 2 league wins in a row under Amorim. Doesn’t matter how we win it, but we’re winning it. Would be amazing to be 2 or more goals up in the last few minutes and be able to enjoy a comfortable win. It’s been so long since we won a game like that.

I'd like to see that (Lammens get a start). Even though the goal against Chelsea wasn't Bayindir's fault...there were still moments that were questionable. I was sitting staring right down the endline on the east side last week. There was a simple cross played in poorly from Chelsea with no pressure...and Bayindir hesitated badly. Even my wife, who is not exactly knowledgeable about football (though she is an athlete in her own right) noticed it.

The fact that he hasn't gotten a start yet is only because he's young and new to the league.

Also, Casemiro is out on a red.

I felt more confident in our chances of success in games against Arsenal or Chelsea than I do against these supposedly smaller clubs. I mean, we may still lose against the bigger clubs but we definitely put in the effort over the 90 minutes.

Massive game today. Draw minimum but we really need a win

Win here and we can make it three league games in a row at home next week. Only two away from shutting up that fat feck with the hair. I don’t expect that to happen though!

Dorgu at RWB just doesnt work. Either play Dalot or try Yoro or Mainoo there.

I’m going to this today, never been to Brentford before. Anyone know any red pubs locally?

Just want to see all our new signings start. I don't think our new front 3 have even started a game together yet. Those 3 with Lammens in goal, and I'm happy.

So Brentford have lost to Sunderland, Fulham and Forest this season.. held Chelsea to a draw and beat Villa twice (once in the cup)
Game raising cnuts.. should be an easy win for us :D

They lost Frank, Wissa, Nørgaard and Mbeumo and we're desperate for 3 points, let's go!

3-1 victory, goals by Bruno, Mbuemo and Šeško

I don’t think Lammens will get a game until Bayindir has a howler, which will of course happen, but it hasn’t quite happened since we signed him. Not sure if that’s the right approach, mind, cause it’ll put him under instant pressure then.

Yeah I don't see the sense in that, unless Amorim thinks it would be harsh to drop Bayindir until he does something he can point to. But we know what he's about, and we didn't go and buy a new keeper for nothing.

    What I’d like to see.

    #A good win.

    #Lammens.

    #A Sesko goal and performance.

    #A Cunha goal and performance.

    #A Mainoo start.

    I’m not asking for much.
