    Milner isn’t getting any cards today. A blow job from the referee at the center circle to a standing ovation from the commentators is more likely.

    That was a lovely bit of play for the second goal, nice feet from Amad and perfect weight of pass on the return from Mount. Delighted for Bruno, it might be a bit worrying how reliant we are on him creating but he's been marvelous under Carrick and now holds a well deserved record.

    We defend our box very well for the most part but I do think we're too easy to progress up the pitch against, there were numerous times that half when Brighton played a 30/40 yard vertical pass along the ground right through the middle and ended up in the final third and we tend to drop too deep and too quickly quite a lot.

    You heard right he did.

    Fair play to him although like many I wonder if the motivation to be in the WC played a big part and if we’ll see a return to ‘normal’ next season.

    If Mount can keep this up, he can be a squad optipn for centre midfield, pleasantly surprised.

    Apart from the goal, hoping to see Dorgu settle and assert the left flank more

    Pleased as I am for Bruno who deserves POTY and has been excellent, that Dorgu goal kinda highlights how silly the assists stat is. Cos strictly speaking that is not an assist, but obviously he makes the goal.
