I could sort of see your point, Mourinho seems to have better game plan against bigger sides but he'll be very conservative, if Chelsea were to win it'll most likely end 1-0 with Chelsea shutting shop after scoring. Chelsea doesn't necessarily need the win, either.

I think this will be a low scoring game, will be surprised if either team scores more than 1 goal unless one of Hazard, Rooney, etc. has a stormer. 1-1 is my prediction.
The only 2 teams anywhere near us have to beat us and cannot afford a slip up of their own whatsoever. That and those 2 teams have to play each other.

Can see us dominating the game but it ending in a draw. Mourinho excels in getting results in such games.

Chelsea@Stamford Bridge with Mourinho, I supppose he will bring a tactic against Fellaini and Rooney. If Herrera and Mata can get more spaces based on that then it won't be too bad, if Chelsea on the contrary has the ball and can link up with Hazard then it might be very tough for United.

Mourinho is one of the few tacticians who could school Van Gaal.

Maybe we'll be the better team, but I can't see us winning there. I predicted here 1-1 but it was more the optimistic on me. I think that at best, we will leave SB with a point.

Its still hard to call, we ripped spurs and city apart, really put on such a well performed display at anfield we have not seen since 2007. We can say, those 3 were terrible team performances from spurs liverpool and city, or we made them look it. Its going to be tough at chelsea, once again the level goes up and up from each game, testing us even more. We will know more how far this united team has come when we enter stamford bridge, we could strangle the life out of chelsea in the way our engine room is just controlling these games, has carrick fellaini herrera mata and young are just outnumbering teams, and with such quality is well. If any of chelsea's players are not on their game, against this current united team playing at the intensity they are currently are at, chelsea could be in for a long 90 minutes

I think we'll dominate possession and all but Chelsea will defend well and deep. I think a 1-1 draw or a narrow Chelsea win. I hope I'm wrong of course but Mourinho just seems to be able to do it in the big games.

Tough one to call though. If Carrick is fit then we've got a decent chance.

To be fair you are easily finishing top four so you might as well go for it.

All good runs come to an end and we are due a good performance. Expect a Jose masterclass of Liverpool and City last season proportions.

    2-0 to us.

Replace Rodgers with LvG and LvG with Mou in this tweet :wenger:

We will win it 2-1. AdM will score winner after coming on from the bench.

Things are a little TOO positive at the moment, I can see a bit of a reality bite here.

I expect Chelsea to beat us 2-0, but that shouldn't dampen what has been a great run lately. I expect us to win our last 4.

If Chelsea play like they did today and we play like we did today, I'll really enjoy this one.

However, I expect a bus and plenty of counters...and I don't think we're brilliant at dealing with players like Hazard on the counter (see OT reverse fixture).

A draw would be fine, but in the hope of an interesting end to the season I hope we can claw up some points on these and beat Arsenal.

I've been saying for a long long time that second was absolutely on.

While a win would be nice only way Chelsea could lose the title is losing both to us and Arsenal, Mourinho isn't stupid and will be happy to kill both games. Low scoring draw.

We'll win. Matic will be dominated by Fellaini, and Ander will show Oscar and Cesc how to combine both mobility, grit, and creativity. :p

This will all be horribly inaccurate if Carrick is out.

That's what I thought before the City game. Chelsea are in poor form too, despite winning today. We can beat them if we play our game.

Chelsea will win this one. We look really good again but they're still the better side, and Stamford Bridge under Mourinho is pretty much as impregnable as it gets. Plus Mourinho loves to play against sides who try to dominate possession and territory, because it gives him license to play the pragmatic, counter-attacking football which is his real forté.

But that's ok. The whole point of winning the first three of our tough games (Spurs, Liverpool and City) was to give us room to lose this one.

If you can't beat Chelsea you won't be beating Arsenal.
Is that what passes for a WUM these days?

Chelsea away is infinitely harder than Arsenal home. We'll swat you away, especially after having underestimated you for the FA Cup tie. Valencia will also be under strict instructions not to brainfart.

I think if you play your game you will be more likely to lose. Its almost exactly what City and Liverpool fans said last season when they were on their good runs before facing us!

We've beaten Spurs, Liverpool and City on the bounce. That's an exceptional run, not just a good one. I honestly don't fear you guys in current form.

Its no better than you would do regularly under SAF, plus remember the runs City and Liverpool were on before the 0-1 and 0-2 respectively ?

Its not about fearing us, its about knowing psychologically with jose team in a big game that you will not win, regardless of how well you play or what form you are in.

This will be a boring game. Chelsea will be content with a point. Suppose so will we, as it's very unlikely for us to chase the title.

What makes it so frustrating watching them is that they are a low tempo style team, but so often opposition gets coaxed into going at them, and their attack is ruthless. I don't think we'll be caught in this trap but their manager will work on countering the pockets of space we create.

While that may be true, we couldn't even string together a pass in recent years at Anfield under SAF and we dominated that fixture. We are playing great football, and unlike Liverpool last season aside from Suarez, we have world class players that can hurt you, including a certain in-form Spaniard that once did the business for you guys. I'm not saying we're definitely going to get a result, but I don't fear Chelsea or Jose and neither will LVG.

I think he will, hes clever like that, and a tactician. Hes not too far removed from Jose. He will certainly change some things around. Both will respect each other, thats why I think itll either be one of those games like last season or a boring end of season draw.

Chelsea are hard to beat, even when they play poorly. With Chelsea to play us, Liverpool and Arsenal I am quite sure that Jose will be happy to play for the draw, and hope to get a last minute chance. If United were to win, there might be some doubt creep in, and might give Arsenal a little boost. So gone for a draw, which will probably suit both teams.

Naturally, I would like to smash them as we are due a result at the bridge.

Not in the context of how out of form those teams are.
Don't start coming out with garbage like that. It's always the same when United are doing well. Either the opponent is rolling over, didn't show up, or is just plain shite.

It was an exceptional run, give some credit.

Or if you look at how before we played both Liverpool and Spurs everyone was saying how in form they were, but now they both kind of collapsed after we beat them?

City were the only team in poor form prior to our match. Nice try though.

Anyway I think it'll be a boring game. We'll control possession but struggle to break them down and they'll catch us a couple times on the counter. 2-1 to them or 1-1.

I would go with an unchanged side unless Carrick is out injured then I'd bring Shaw in for him.

It depends. How will Chelsea play? If they park the bus as they often tend to do in big games it will be tough to beat them. Will Mourinho have the courage to take us head on? I think he will. I don't see them parking the bus in this one, they've pretty much won the league already.

Mourinho is not there to entertain. Expect a boring set up with him tactically setting up his team to break our algorithms that our automatic team has created in the past 3/4 games. I dont see him attacking us at all, even though he has nothing to lose really. The league is already his.

Mourinho only plays a deep block in tough away games. He rarely ever does at home.

Not sure why people keep insisting he does this. Fans would be immediately on his back if we played negative at home.

You don't batter Arsenal 6-0, Spurs 4-0 or United 3-1 at home by parking the bus.
