Wonder if it'll be their cup final and they really give it a go, we could really be in trouble and get thrashed. Ralf needs to come up with a defence and midfield solution. I'd say play the kids as it couldn't be any worse, but it probably would be. Wonder who'll be injured or ill for this one. Maybe we can give Jesse the send off he feels he deserves

Get Erik in the stands for this game, these players need the living crap scared out of them ahead of the summer.

I would play the full U23s. Why ever not. If we get beat 5-0 then so be it. It should send a sobering message to the embarrassing first team.
Yeah now it's time to give them a go, we literally have nothing to play for this season

I can see no other result than us being absolutely hammered. I've gone for 5-0 although we might just keep it to four. I agree with those saying give youngsters a game, although I see Scunthorpe took that route on Saturday and lost 7-0!

I'd certainly give young full backs a run out and one or two wide players/midfielders. And I'd give Henderson a game - he's remained quiet and uncomplaining in a season when, had he not got injured and contracted Covid, he would have been first choice at the start of the season. I know DDG has played well but we've conceded 56 goals in the league and he has almost forgotten how to keep a clean sheet so lets at least look at the alternative and take him out of the firing line this once

If West Ham beat Norwich today we've got a battle on our hands to avoid the Conference league.

The idiot will keep playing Matic, Mata, Cavani etc and then complain that we haven't enough intensity. The biggest fraud ever.

I can't see anything other than another 3-0 defeat. Getting battered multiple times a season is the new normal. Not just by the usual candidates but teams like Watford, Leicester and Brighton. Even Arsenal didn't get thrashed this often in a season, did they?

Rangnick doesn't have the balls to play youth. Can we hire Wenger for one game?

    This'll be another humiliation

Last game of the season at home with your fans behind them. Palace will want to put on a show and what better way than beating man utd

We gave up months ago and will barely break into a sweat

    I might not bother tbh

Yesss last game of this rotten season! Genuinely excited to see the back of this season.

    Easy palace win, 3-1.

And because winning the Europa League next season might be the only path back into Champions League available to us after we finish 5th or 6th in the league next season
We are not going to win a trophy anytime soon, let alone the EL trophy (which is ridiculously hard to win), would be delusional.
I'm staggered that some fans have not realised how bad we are playing. To remind you, we just got pumped 4-0 by Brighton.
Perhaps some of you equate to losing 4-0 to Brighton, to winning the EL....not sure.

I wonder what the players would do in the interim. Given the big gap until match, they might go on a holiday. All will be reported on social media. The perception will be awful.
They won't be attending extra training sessions...that's for sure.
These players don't want to work hard, so they'll likely take it easy knowing that there'll be a new manager to throw under the bus, soon.

Play the kids. Pressure is off.
Never. I want our senior players to be embarrassed again.

    ---------------------------henderson--------------------------
    ------awb--------maguire---------bailly--------shaw--
    -------------------mct---------------jones-----------------------
    ----rashford------------pogba-----------------lingard---
    -------------------------greenwood---------------------------

I'd happily take a 5 nil thrashing by palace if it meant this entire team was fecked off. Thats only going to happen if they're exposed as turd and then flushed down the shitter.

The team should be exactly the same team that was put out v Brighton and told to earn some respect back.
Why put the kids in , its not their fault we are a disgraceful team and cant be bothered to turn up and play, cant be bothered to turn up and fight, cant be bothered to even run during a match.
DDG and Ronaldo are just about the only ones coming out with any sort of credit this season.

I can't believe we're going to finish the season with negative GD.

And people say these feckers should be given a clean slate

I'm thinking optimistically that we might get a draw here. 2-2.

    We'll probably lose 3-1.

If we lose and West Ham win either of their last two we will be playing in Europa Conference League. Basically we are relying on others to take points off of WH so we can secure Europa League football

I'd play youth players but i wouldn't want to inflict our first team on them. Just could be a miserable game and think it could potentially do more harm than good.

tells you how poor this league is that United still have a decent chance of finishing 6th.
