Crystal Palace Football Club (nicknamed CPFC, The Glaziers and The Eagles) are a professional football club based in South Norwood, London. Crystal Palace were founded in 1905 at the site of the famous Crystal Palace Exhibition building by the owners of the FA Cup Final stadium, who wanted their own team to play at the historic venue. When Crystal Palace were founded, they turned to one of the biggest clubs in the country at the time, Aston Villa, to seek advice. Villa helped the club in a number of ways, not least by donating their kit. As a result, Palace's colors were originally claret and blue shirts paired with white shorts, socks tending to be claret. They kept to this formula fairly consistently until 1938.

The club initially played their home games at the FA Cup Final stadium which was situated inside the grounds of The Crystal Palace, but the First World War saw them forced to move out, and they enjoyed a number of seasons at both the Herne Hill Velodrome and The Nest. Although Crystal Palace have never won a major trophy, they have played in the First Division for the majority of their existence, finishing 3rd once, and losing the 1990 FA Cup Final to Manchester United. Crystal Palace play their homes games at Selhurst Park, and share sporting rivalries with South London neighbors Millwall, former tenants Charlton, and Brighton & Hove Albion.

Playing against the team with one of the lowest average possessions in the league, not looking forward to it at all. We are clueless if we don't play on the counter

Going to get stuffed. Palace will beat us by at least 3.

Its a Palace win easy there a beast of a side. Mateta will tear us a new asshole, Wharton will run the show. And there keeper is very good as well. These shithousees we got won't get anything

Done with this season. Waiting for the sack to watch some games again.

Everyone will expect us to lose

    We'll win

Another stupid fecking thread will be made saying we've turned a corner

    We'll lose the following match

    Rinse and fecking repeat

Guaranteed loss, not just based on tonight's viewing but the fact that United have a dreadful record in London the last few years

Palace away, early kick-off -- more chance of a Neil Armstrong resurrection for a second moon landing than us winning this one.

Lose here and we could slip back into being absolutely terrible, basically sleepwalking into another series of losses. We have been slightly less terrible recently and Palace are a tough opponent for any team in the league. Amorim needs to find a way to get points on the board here, currently on 2 pts out of 9 which could quickly become 2 out of 12.

An absolute banker of a defeat. Won't be close either, 3-0.

This is 100% a loss. Palace are a far better side than us and will batter us.

Palace are a decent side in good form with a superior manager. They look like an actual team that has a clue.

    I'd take a point now.

Any interest I had in this disappeared tonight. Hopefully it comes back during the week…

    Would go:
    Zirkzee
    Mbeumo Bruno Amad
    Mainoo Casemiro
    Shaw Yoro De Ligt Dalot
    Lammens

If Cunha is fit obviously he goes in for Zirkzee.

Knowing us we'll probably win and it'll be King Amorim again, and then go and lose against Wolves.

They are a better team than we are and better coached , we need them to be under par to have a chance getting anything out of the match.

    We'll lose the following match

    Rinse and fecking repeat

    Spot on.

Whether we lose this one or not, ultimately it's clear we are going nowhere. And we are way less than the sum of the parts.

Ruben Fiveorim will go (with your same players)

    Lammems
    Yoro De Ligt Shaw
    Amad Casemiro Bruno Dalot
    Mbeumo Mainoo
    Zirkzee

They play at 8pm away in France on Thursday night.. then at midday Sunday! Not the fairest scheduling for them.

No doubt they’ll still batter us.

Barry bullied our CBs so I dread to think what Mateta will do.

Crystal palace is the exact sort of side we don't do well against, so not quite sure about that.

Some Palace player who's never scored a goal in his life will score some fecking worldlie to win them the game, and will never score again for the rest of his career.

Winning an away game? Can't see it.

We will get schooled at least 3 or 4 ton1 , Glasner will be in the shop window and he desperately wants the Man United Job and he will school Clueless Amorim, this is the same coach one year ago when he beat Everton 4-0 that he was unhappy with the performance of the players, this is when he started calling out Rashford who got two in that game and looks back to his best in Barcelona.

Elite pace wins you PL matches, when you have a complete clueless coach that gaslights the fans and dismantles a squad because INEOS tell him they want certain players off their books, you get players like Dorgu, Zirkzee, Ugarte all never proven in the EPL and costing a combined cost £120m when United could have bought Elliot Anderson and Semenyo last year for the same money?
