We must be patient.
He needs more time
I'm not convinced he was watching it. Did he see the original penalty? Did he watch the retake?Don't really understand how he's watched that half and changed nowt.
Aye, for me personally. I look at Everton Monday and I dream of having a wing back like Mykolenko and Mitchell today. Special special players those.I don’t know how I can judge Amorim when our midfielders, striker and wing back (left side) are so much worse than most opposing teams.
Changing our formation or being the best motivator on the planet won’t change that
I mean, once they replied to me saying that the player's not turning up again and again is simply a tactical tweak then they opened the door to that question. It's fair to ask a follow up in that situation. I would also argue if they don't have the answer to a simple question like that, having very much implied that they did, then they should think a bit more before the post. You're asking a random person on the internet how they'd manage Manchester United, thinking that your question is some sort of gotcha that absolves Amorim of blame because the random stranger you asked presumably won't have the answer, because guess what, they aren't a qualified professional football manager
Patient for what, a win? A goal? A shot at goal?We must be patient.
And we play a back 3, not a back 5.
You're right, but I maintain that the biggest issue right now isn't the manager or the ability of the squad, it's the attitude and mentality. I'm convinced that most of these players would look far better if they payed for different clubs, but together at our club there's just something missing. A lack of accountability, leadership, drive and passion.
And Onana made De Gea's last season look legendary. Happens.Facts.... Ole era is looking very different in hindsight
Same, except for the flu. It's 4AM here!Call me crazy, but I had 2 hours sleep and set my alarm for this.
With the flu.
What would you do differently? We could g change formation, but they’d still have the individual issues we had in different formations under ETH. These feckers can’t string passes together when we’re having an off day. Our ceiling level is fine for what we are, but our floor level is horrendous. And to top it off, we’re inconsistent as hell. And right now, we have feck all options on the bench.
No one said it was the wrong decision to sack Ole when he was. But you saying its was just better than this turgid shit is quite the undermining of what was in his two full seasons.Youre using current context. Its better than now. Jesus even moyes was better than now. At the time the correct decision was made. The fact this club hasn't made better decisions since is irrelevant.
No changes or system changes.
Cant see us scoring with this set up. They will score again and rinse and repeat presser.
Bellion was better up front than Zirkzee.
Personally I'd go
-------Yoro--De Ligt--Heaven--------
Amad--------------------------------Shaw
Tell Shaw to stay high and save his legs.
No we haven't. We were 3rd when we tried that. When Ten switched in his 2nd season to being a high press team with Mount and Bruno in a 3 together ahead of a lone holding mid... That's when it was a disaster.Tried it, it was shit. Midfield 2 with even less cover behind them? Recipe for disaster.
I’m hungover right now.Same, except for the flu. It's 4AM here!
Maybe just play him in a more attacking role, he plays good with Portugal.Mbeumo is a good player. Amad is decent. Bruno is unfortunately past his prime and we’ll never get the original him back.
And we play a back 3, not a back 5.
He's so anxious that he didn't watch it.Don't really understand how he's watched that half and changed nowt.
And cause a double negative, reduce his ability to create, increase his ability to put us into trouble closer to our goal. Genius stroke.Only our super genius head coach could take one of the most prolific creators in the league and deploy him so that he's completely useless.
His changes always make us worse anyway, so its for the bestDon't really understand how he's watched that half and changed nowt.
Sesko against SunderlandHave we ever scored from one of Dalot's medium length throws?
He was alright. Scored a few times against Arsenal I seem to recall.I quite liked Bellion.. obviously not the next Henry but I thought he had potential to be a good back up striker
Maybe. I still feel that he has fundamental deficiencies and has lost his mojo. I know that every player is like that but still. I just don’t have much, or really any, faith in these players.Maybe just play him in a more attacking role, he plays good with Portugal.
