Strange view given he’s been MOTM today.
By who?
Strange view given he’s been MOTM today.
An away win as well. They've done it! Manchester United has won a game!
Anderson is the man we needDidn’t think much of Wharton tbh, nice pass for the goal but if we want him to replace Bruno because he’s not the DM destroyer we need, then I don’t see him improving the team
Amorim in!
Haha oh my days.
Not convinced at all but will take the three points
Palace haven't lost at home in ages, they're a very difficult side to beat, this is the kind of win that we haven't been capable of for a few seasons so it's a clear sign of improvement.
Mount been one of the only success stories this season, if he can stay fit he has toGood to see Mount having word with Yoro, who was clearly gutted when he was subbed out.
Yeah agreed.Palace haven't lost at home in ages, they're a very difficult side to beat, this is the kind of win that we haven't been capable of for a few seasons so it's a clear sign of improvement.
He was motm ffsBruno's been anonymous all game
He had to foul him, Hughes was lining up a shot. Bruno should have had the ball up the other end of the pitch.
The Everton match was so demoralising.Yeah agreed.
I’m just still miserable from Everton which we absolutely should have won, would have been third and still on a good run of results
Good to get the three points here but I’ve lost all confidence that Amorim is capable of momentum and consistent performances
2 completely different halves. Not just in energy but in individual play. Zirkzee was trash in the first but much better in the 2nd. Great finish and some really well played touches and passes.
I thought Shaw and De Ligt were fantastic. Maz did a great job off the bench.
I would’ve been happy with a point but getting 3, especially here, is awesome.
Scoring 2 goals against the second best defense in the league away from home is not too shabby. Two very dull teams. Great 3 points but still this system is shit we barely create chances.
Told you so, mateThat hasn't happened in years. Have you seen our win/loss ratio?
Yeah agreed.

There have been some signs of improvement but I'd feel a lot more confident if we hadn't just had to worst performance in ages less than a week ago.
Good to see them bounce back and play with the required intensity second half though.
I’ve never got that attitude. Some people here really wanted us to lose to get rid of Amorim.
Despicable

Despicable
Like I said the result is great but we barely created chances. The two goals came from very well taken set pieces. Take those two chances and we barely created anything.Scoring 2 goals against the second best defense in the league away from home is not too shabby.
Just a possible silver lining for any more poor defeats. Not true is it though.
For what its worth, I agree with you. Didn't think, he was good today.Upped his game in 2nd half just as anybody else but he came from pretty deep down below so...Crazy, I thought it was one of his worst performances for us
The Everton match was so demoralising.
All I can say to you is to try and remember that progress isn't linear. There'll be plenty of bumps, but as long as the trend curves upwards then we're ok.
Absolutely. But he's a man in demand.Anderson is the man we need
Squad during AFCON:Worryingly thin squad. When AFCON starts its gonna be even more dire.
This is the only way the club will succeed is to focus on PL proven players aged 20-24 who are hungry and want to further their career at a big club like United, we need players that have something to prove every time they take the pitch.First thing I would do is stop buying dross from other leagues. No more Sesko, Hojlund, Zirkzee. I'm more than happy paying premium for proven PL players from Bournemouth, Wolves, Brentford, Palace, Brighton, etc.
Felt like such a big win, one of the biggest under Amorim. Because it was Palace away, their home form and riding high in the table. Our record to them of late. Coming off the back of the Everton shambles, missing important players in attack. This felt like one of the tougher games before the end of the year in this supposedly 'easier' run of games. So happy, but you just know with this team, don't get too ahead of yourself...
Can't disagree. That combined with the Grimsby result are serious black marks against Amorim's nameI'm a startup founder so I know this well.
But Monday, IMO was just utterly unacceptable.
Yeah I'm with you, Palace did fade badly. I guess that's often the difficulty with making it to Europe and having a squad to cope with the extra games midweek. Not to diminish your result yesteday but we’ve lost 3 of the 4 games after a Thursday European fixture and our game against Everton followed a very similar trajectory; played well first half and then faded badly. Certainly something you can build on but I think you’re taking the right approach in not getting carried away!
His lawyer’s comment that “everything came to a crescendo on the day in question" seems somewhat unfortunate in the context.Yeah I'm with you, Palace did fade badly. I guess that's often the difficulty with making it to Europe and having a squad to cope with the extra games midweek.
Your username was a bit of a blast from the past and prompted me to see what Neil Shipperley was up to. Led me to this, oh dear...
