    Everton’s last three home games

    Arsenal : won 1-0
    Chelsea : won 2-0
    Liverpool : drew 0-0

Meaning that we will lose this one unfortunately.

If I was Ole, I would try to freshen up one or two players from Barcelona

    -------------------------De Gea------------------------
    Dalot------Lindelof---------Smalling---------Rojo
    -------------------------Matic--------------------------
    -------Mc Tominay-------------Pogba-------------
    -------------------------Sanchez----------------------
    -----------Rashford--------------Lukaku------------

    -------------------Calvert Levin----------------------
    Bernard---------Sigurdsson---------Richardlison
    --------------Gueye------------Gomes--------------
    Digne-------Zouma--------Jaglielka------Coleman
    ------------------------Pickford------------------------

Of course, we all know that Sigurdsson will score against us as he usually does.
Gueye will overrun our midfields alone while
    Gomes will look like Xavi.
Zouma will break Lukaku and of course our defenders should take Jaglielka as an example.

Dont think the players are mentally strong enough to win this. I expect an uninspired performance with maybe one or two glimpses of brilliance which will last maybe 3 minutes.

I'd go with this team and shape also but play Lindelof RB, Jones CB, Smalling CB and Dalot LB.

Don't want to ever see Rojo or Young in an important game again (I'd play them both against City to rest other players).

A while since I was at Goodison park but it could be the roof line, or supporting pillars. Or both. Rear of the lower tier is worse from my memory and it still had wooden seats. While back mind, so that may have changed
Was in the lower tier a few years back for a Villa game. Loads of pillars around but you can see most of the pitch apart from the far end corner flag by the Gladys end.
The pillar is in the lower section supporting the top section and you are behind it. Not in front. You might just miss the Ashley Young bits.
Cheers guys. I obviously meant behind the pillar  I think my row is N, so it's probably gonna be a crappy view!

Gomes being suspended is quite a big deal for Everton, we should hopefully be able to dominate a Gueye and Davies midfield.

Must win game if we aspire for top 4. The energy and direction seems to have gone over the last few games especially since Ole was given the full time job. Need to really focus and deliver over the last few games of the season. It all feels a bit flat after such an exciting start to Ole's tenure.

    Here, there, everywhere...
I know there stock isn't very high right now but we need Matic and Herrera back fully fit for the remaining games of the season to have a chance at top 4. The decline in our form has coincided with both of them getting injured. Ole rushed them back both as soon as they were available and that further exacerbated the problem. Wish he had given them time to fully recover so that they could be available back fit again for this final stretch.

Looks like Matic is back fit again; while Ander still seems to be on the IR. We need Matic fit for all the five games as despite all his deficiencies he is still the best holding player we have available in our squad. Hopefully, Ole will buy two CM's - A Carrick type and a tenacious creative CM - this summer. Midfield is where it's all at.

    For this game:

    De Gea
    Dalot Smalling Lindelof Young
    Matic
    McTommy Pogba
    Rashford Lukaku Sanchez
    A scrappy 2-1 will do.

A loss on Sunday would end our season prematurely. We have to win this. Sometimes, when things are going bad, we suddenly turn up with a good performance. I hope this will be one of those occasions.

Martial has been a wank recently. I’ll give Alexis a chance to redeem himself.

    Alexis - Rashford - Lingard
    Pogba - Fred - McT
    Young - Lindelof - Smalling - Dalot

It's a tough one, out of form, and Ole is to open, I'd rather us at this time away, be a bit tighter.
Can see Sanchez starting, Martial out, Lukaku in . And I'd play Darmian at left back. Young we can all see is finished.

    Scrappy win will do.

I want to see Pogba played higher up the pitch, almost in a 10 / false 9 role. He has been absolute horsesht recently in midfield and contributes very little. I am also sick of the sight of Rashford, Martial and Lingard.

In his best period, he was playing much higher and getting lots of assist and goals. Considering the form of our strikers recently, I don't know how we are going to score. We need someone with ability on the ball, makes good decisions and can score goals. Remember Pogba's headed goals, shots from inside the area and tap ins he scored in December / January?

    Sanchez Lukaku
    Pogba
    Fred McTominay
    Matic
    Shaw Jones Lindelof Dalot
Jones and Lindelof decent on the ball, can start moves from defence. Shaw and Dalot provide width. Fred, McTominay and Pogba can all shoot from around the box. Fred and Pogba can play through balls or pass wide for Sanchez and Lukaku to cut in, or to Shaw and Dalot to cross for Lukaku, Pogba and McTominay.

Anyone but Young in left back please. I'd have Romero in there instead of him

Alexis right, Martial up top I'd like to see. Martial has been very poor but he won't improve on the bench. I'd be playing Martial as much as poss and if he doesn't improve I'd make an example of him in the summer. Same for Alexis in fairness.

    So Gomes is suspended.

On the one hand, I'm disappointed because I enjoy watching him in CM. He's very good as deep playmaker there, and I'd like to see how he'd do against our midfield. On the other hand, it's good for us as it weakens them.

City will lose tomorrow. We will lose on Sunday. Wednesday will be like an angry meaningless High School Reunion.

If we manage to lose this, we simply have to lose again against City. Our season will be effectively over before the derby.

Tough game. Players need to stand up and turn this around.

Too many waiting for something (probably Pogba..) to happen.

Everton are not even that good. Richarlison is awkward and effective. Cal ert - Lewin will cause problems.

Tough game. Poor form. Show character.

Rest players for what? And if you have already decided City is unimportant, then why does tomorrow matter either?

5 losses in 7 does not look pretty and we certainly can't lose another.

Need a statement win, something like a comfortable 2-0. It isn't impossible if our forwards can finish as we do get good chances every game.

must win this to have a chance of top 4 - we need Martial, Rashford and Lukaku to be on it in this

left back is a conundrum- Young has been awful but Rojo is terrible too. Darmian is ok but hasn't played a game. Welcome to Manchester United where team selection comes down to the least worst option

a bit of fluidity up front with Rashford and Lukaku interchanging

    go for the win boys

    ------------------------De Gea---------------------
    Dalot----Smalling---Lindelof----Darmian
    ---------------------McTominay------------------
    -------------Herrera-----------Pogba-----------
    Lukaku------------Rashford-----------Martial

    or

    ------------------------De Gea---------------------
    Victor----Smalling---Jones---------Dalot
    ---------------------McTominay------------------
    -------------Herrera-----------Pogba-----------
    Lukaku------------Rashford-----------Martial

    Jones/Smalling makes me nervous

Massively need the win here. It’s that end of the season that I’d happily take a very scrappy lacklustre win as points are way more important than performances during this stage of the season.

    Starting XI

    De Gea

    Dalot
    Lindelof
    Smalling
    Darmian

    McTominay
    Fred
    Pogba

    Sanchez

    Rashford
    Lukaku

    subs:
    Romero
    Young
    Jones
    Matic
    A.Pereira
    Lingard
    Martial

    Score prediction:
    Everton 1-2 Manchester United

    Goalscorers:
    Calvert-Lewin; Sanchez & Rashford

Anyone going to this? It's my first trip to Goodison and I'm quite concerned that my ticket says obstructed view, despite being in the lower section

I know it's an old stadium and the roof is low, but praying I'm not in front of a massive pillar!

Season is finished if we lose..
Are you in away end ? If so you can stand where you want really, you just have to be clever about it.
There is a lot of poles there alright !

Gomes is a massive loss for them.
    I'm going for a comfortable 2-0 win

    Romero
    Lindelof Jones Smalling Dalot
    McTominay Fred Pogba
    Lukaku Rashford Martial

Subs: De Gea, Darmian, Rojo, Matic, Pereira, Lingard, Sanchez

Not a fan of Lindelof at RB but I don't think we really have much choice with Darmian having barely played all season and Rojo being Rojo. Sanchez should get at least half an hour, probably wouldn't have to do much to nail down a starting place against City.
