Jesus, just seen Everton's next 5 games and they're worst than ours  Not an easy task if they want to keep their slim top 4 hopes alive.

Think Ole will go with the 3-5-2 but it won't be an easy game. Keeping Richarlison quiet will be tough.

They'll raise their game like always, before battling against Chelsea and then taking their usual pounding against Liverpool. Such an annoying club.

Considering it’s a difficult away ground to go to and going by how we have set up in our previous away games recently, 5-3-2 looks the most likely option.

Staying cautious and assuming Martial doesn’t make it, I think the 11 could look something like this

    De Gea
    Maguire Lindelof Shaw
    AWB Williams
    Matic
    Fred Bruno
    Greenwood James
    Subs On: Igalho, Pereira, McTominay

I’d like Bailly to start but him playing over Lindelof on Thursday makes me think it was to rest Lindelof so he’s refreshed for this week. The rest of the back 6 is obvious if going for this formation.

Given McTominay is coming back from injury and had his 1st start Thursday that Ole may be wary of overplaying him too soon after coming back. It would also be a way of showing Matic that his recent good form isn’t for nothing and he doesn’t automatically lose his place when McTominay is back.

Because it’s a tough away game with a possible back 5, I think there’s a chance we may go with players up top with pace that could counter over likes of Igalho, Mata etc. I can envision James & Greenwood looking fairly ineffective for large parts of the game but without Rashford & Martial it’s maybe the only counter attacking options we have.

Result Wise I’m staying positive: 2-0, we’ve been good with clean sheets recently and I expect Bruno to once again be our best player. Goalscorers: Bruno & Greenwood

Just 6 points below Leicester with a win on Sunday. I hope we pull through.

Massive game for us. Have we won 3 on the bounce this season? And with Leicester losing tonight, methinks they're officially in the race for 3rd and 4th. Only the top 2 places are locked down. Come on United!

De Gea will be back, and I expect Lindelof to return (I would prefer Baillie, but as he played 90 minutes last night I can't see it). If Ole wants a back three, then Williams will come in, with Matic, Fred and Fernandes in midfield, Martial (if fit) and Greenwood up front. If we play two at the back, then Ighalo in. If Martial is not fit, then I think Ighalo will start, and we will play a back three. Three of Baillie, McTominay, Mata and James to come on as subs

Fans on G.O.T. all full of themselves and expecting to brush United aside tomorrow. Feck 'em! Hope we smash 'em now that we've found our scoring boots again. Not too worried about the City and Spurs game but this is the one we need to get over the line. Come on United.

Lucky pricks getting Ancelotti as their manager. The only likable thing about them at the moment. I still remember them mocking us for signing Fellaini and Moyes. Even though those two were essentially their club legends.

3 points here would be huge.
Top 4 is over if we dont win. Games are running out for slip ups to be allowed.

Interesting that Ole said after the last game at Goodison it was his lowest point and the end of the line for some players but we had to wait till the summer.

Lindelof, Jones, Smalling, Matic, Lukaku, Dalot, Fred, Pogba, Martial and Rashford played that day.

Jones has not really had a sniff since and Smalling & Lukaku were moved on. I wonder how many of the remaining lot will still be here this summer? Jones will definitely be gone for sure. Pogba was one of our better players that day but there's all this stuff with his agent now. Matic and Lindelof will hopefully be squad options or upgraded. The jury's still out on Dalot but the rest are all coming good.

We need to negate that Richarlyson fella. He is always so good against us.

Ole still talking about that 4-0 and that one or two had their last chance as a result.

Presumably one was Lukaku and the other Smalling. Guess you're not coming back then Chris. From what i remember they weren't even the worst players on the day.
I’m not so sure about Smalling , the only reason Smalling left was because we couldn’t get rid of Rojo. He would have played 8-10 this season if Everton had bought Rojo.

Everton have been playing a 4-4-2 recently, so I assume we will go back to the 3-5-2 to take care of Richarlison and Calvert-Lewin

We owe Everton after they battered us last year, so we need to show how much we've improved.

That doesn't make any sense. If Smalling was so important to the squad and Ole needed him, he would have stayed. Smalling left because he wanted game time which obviously Ole must have told him was no longer guaranteed.

You don't get rid of one your supposedly best players just because you can't offload a dud. Players only go because they fall out with the club/manager, they're no longer wanted or they want to leave for a new challenge/better club.

Fancy a hard fought win there tomorrow.

I like James but I hope he only appears as a substitute as the defenders tire towards the end of the match.

I fancy that Bruno, Fred and Mctominay will command the middle of the pitch with Williams down the left and either AWB or Dalot charging down the right feeding Greenwood and Ighalo.

No it won't be over. Such hyperbole and over exaggeration.
If Chelsea go 6 clear of us will we overtake them with 30 points to play for given the fixtures we have left?

Maybe you should think about reality before you show off with your big words!

In a weird way everton becoming better under Ancelotti might actually suit us as they have become a more attacking team that commit men forward under him as he doesnt install that small club mentality in his teams.

This is the definition of just recklessly spouting whatever comes first to mind without taking into account the entire overall context and full picture.

Had you just done the simple thing as to check Chelsea or any other team we're contending top 4 with, you'd have realised that their form is as inconsistent as ours and aren't guaranteed to keep any lead or form for any sustainable amount of time.

But you were too busy trying to sound dramatic and wanting to do with hyperbolic statements to care to consider those facts.

Youve described your own post better than I could. Well done.

I'll ask you again, to comment on the probability of United overhauling a 6 point gap to Chelsea with 10 matches left?

Have you an opinion or are you too busy trying to sound academic and intelligent?

Really started to dislike Everton in recent years ever since we hired Moyes and they got all smug. Hope we do them tomorrow, suspect a tough game though.

Have you seen Chelsea's run in? We've probably got one of the easiest of the top 7/8 teams. You're making the bold assumption that regardless what United do, Chelsea are going to win all of their remaining games. That's never going to happen, so yes, we could still possibly overturn a 6 point deficit.

As I was typing this, Bournemouth have just equalised.

And now Chelski as I started typing.

I'll settle for a draw tomorrow because lets face it, Everton aren't exactly a pushover since Christmas.

And Ancelotti v OGS is probably a mismatch when it comes to tactics and game management.

Having said all that, they're probably more likely to score than us so I'll take 0-0 as a decent result under the circumstances.
