Really missed having competent full backs tonight
This was our biggest miss going forward, overlapping on wings. The few times Darmian did it we created openings. The less said about Rojo the better.
Generally I felt the performance, even though disjointed at times, was encouraging. Passing was direct and incisive, with lack of accuracy probably due to the fact the team hadn't played together before. We actually played through the midfield. Herrera man of the match for me. Pogba I felt was forcing it a bit too much, he's still too eager to impress. Schneiderlin was ok for his first match in ages, he played well in first half and intercepted play on a couple of occasions. A great tackle to stop a counter attack. We lost but I saw a lot of positives in the game. Reading through some comments it's like people were watching entirely different games.

Paul "I don't know what I'm best at because I'm good at everything" Pogba. Good riddance.

Very disappointed - we still don't have a great team and Watford will not be easy either.

    Looking for Eric
We look unfit, we do not have one player who can take a decent free kick or corner (Zlatan excepted) which is not a direct attempt on goal. Teams can pressure us for 90 minutes we cannot do it for 5.
No passion or aggression tonight was like a pr-season friendly and the officials treated it like that 20 + fouls by Feyernoord and the referee does nothing also big mistake by the linesma.

Have to say from all the top teams I've watched this season. Utd's football has to be one of the worst. relying on Ibra to bail us out every time. No creativity or spark coming from anyone else.

It seems to happen to MUFC a lot, though.
And it doesn't seem to be happening to MCFC.
Tbf we've had a lot of changes in a very short period of time. We haven't been able to settle for 3 years unlike City.

Yeah, people tend to overreact on here after a loss. I didn't think it was that bad, I was happy with the defending and our midfield. Front three didnt look like they had met one another before let alone played together and that effected things, on top of that the two full backs who should have been getting wide as we were playing with inside forwards didnt and that made it easy for Feyenoord to defend the flanks.

But yeah I was happy with the midfield balance especially.

Easy to mock and criticise but we've had 3 seasons of horror. That isn't turned around overnight. Early days, hold the jeering until Xmas and then see how things have developed.
People keep bringing City up, City who have kept a steady team apart from Aguero against us. There were 8 changes tonight, which maybe says where it is in our priorities, most have had little or no football in the PL this season and wonder why there was no chemistry. If we were in the CL, those changes would not have been made at all. I have a idea that some of the players tonight who were brought in will not see much time in the PL. Morgan looked like someone who needs more playing time. Same with Darmian who does not offer the same threat as Valencia. However Rojo has not done himself any favours at all and I would rather use TFM in defence than him. Martial needs to buck his ideas up, Pogba will get better, Rashford looked a bit lost, Mata is not a wide man and god only knows about Memphis.

Thats soooo pathetic !!! All United players including subs , would walk into Feyenoords 11 . I doubt any of Feyenoords 11 would even be subs at United .

The good think is I think Jose can sort it out. If we still had LVG I would be in despair right now.

We were poor but another bad officiating decision cost us. You don't have to win all games and a draw would have been fair considering they didn't really create any chances. We always get bad officials and it's a shame the linesman forgot to put up his flag. He has one job, and he got it wrong. Perhaps he fancied a run who knows...

    So is Wayne Rooney.
Can't stand that argument either. We're crap with Rooney, crap without. He is not the answer either. Style of play is not fluid. We pass so slow and not much happening in the final third. Ibra is our get out jail free card. He has to score for us to win or have a chance of getting any points. No one else seems to be contributing.

Whether the goal was dodgy or not, the fact is we created hardly anything, if we had scored a couple of goals, then it wouldn't matter if they had a dodgy one.
