Annihilation only occurs in fantasy football world.

They are fighting for PL survival. If we want to win we, we need to match that desire. Burnley showed that we can compete physically but Fulham have pace everywhere.

Their big issue is not having a real goalscorer
    Does it, though?

Spurs against us, Villa against Liverpool, Liverpool against Palace, Man City against Burnley.

Biggest game of the season this, even bigger than Liverpool given how easily complacency could set in

Glad we're playing after Leicester and City, could be 3rd by the time we kick off. Should be the required motivation to be up for it

We need to use the squad, get a positive result and be ready for Pool again on the weekend.

I think our attackers (including Bruno) need to play in their best positions and try and play into form. They are all not firing at the moment. We need at least one to hit top form.

They are 18th and have won 2 games all season.
If we cant make changes against them, we are in trouble.
Did not realise it was that low. Why are people saying they are in a purple patch? Because they drew a few games?

Still, won’t be an easy game if we lose focus. Need to start well and go from there.

They are in good form (considering expectations). In the last 8 games they lost only twice, one was vs Chelsea when they were down to 10 and the other was vs City. They drew vs Liverpool, Spurs in this run and also won against Leicester.

We should expect to win the game, we can't call top 4 challengers or title challengers if we can't win against relegation placed teams.

But if they continue this supposed good form for the rest of the season and average a point a game, they’ll be going down. We need to win these games.

Agreed. High line with Bailly providing cover.

When playing without Fred and Mctominay a lot depends on how good pogba will play, Matic is very consistent.

If pogba plays well and works hard we win this easily. I think Greenwood will play and back him to score.

Really need a big performance now. We've done really well to grind out wins in tough games recently, it feels like a while since we went out looked like winning from early on. Fulham are in good form and this is a real banana skin, hopefully we can just overwhelm them early and score a couple of first half goals.

Who are Fulham missing? Are they important players for them?
Feck me are they! Two players with pace and aggression down the flanks!! Robinson has been a standout LB and Reid was a menace against Liverpool. Big misses

This will be tough. I feel it has a draw written all over it. A win here would be huge.

No need for McFred doing one mans job here. Get Matic in & go for the throat. Rest Bruno & Rashford, been poor & look knackered.

    DDG
AWB Lindelof or Bailly Maguire Shaw
    Matic
    Donny Pogba
    Mata Cavani Martial

    Technical ability.
That's the team I'm hoping to see.

Rotate but not a B team, we have struggled to get the last results. Games like these can very easily overcomplicate and we need to keep momentum going since City is virtually already ahead of us.

    AWB Bailly Maguire Telles

Expecting this, but I'd probably rather see Van de Beek and Martial start over Bruno and Rashford. Depends how seriously Ole is going to take the FA Cup game in comparison to Fulham & Sheffield United. Particularly as a booking against Sheffield United would cost Shaw, Maguire and Bruno a place in the Arsenal away fixture.

I think we could arguably beat Sheffield United without those players (+Rashford), but perhaps not Fulham on current form and most likely not Liverpool.

Realistically, this should be an easy game but Fulham have only lost one in six, conceding only three goals in that time. Of course, they didn't win a Premier League game for a while, but they have drawn with Southampton & Spurs recently, and only lost to Chelsea after going down to 10 men (and still only 1-0 at that).

Bruno/Maguire/Shaw all 1 yellow away from suspension. Maguire id trust to be find and he doesn't need much rotating anyway, but the other 2 I'd definitely rest here. We have good depth with Telles, Van de Beek/Matic/Pogba to be the midfield trio and still keep creativity/balance. Cavani up top and then the wings I'm ok with whatever combination to be honest, the spine will be strong enough.

We are starting to get lucky with suspensions....first Reid and Robinson are out here - and Egan is out against us when we play Sheffield United

Oh and the 5 yellow rule is only until the 19th League match - after that it's 10 yellow for a suspension. So if we survive Fulham, we are in the clear

Will be the 4th game he misses since they got promoted, 3 of those against us. Poor Jagielka gets most of his minutes against our pacy attackers

But if you don't play them so they can avoid a ban... isn't that like them serving a ban?

Our best front 3 is Martial, Cavani and Rashford yet they have barely played together. No time to rest them. Have them start this game and get used to playing together

This will have absolutely no impact on selection.. Definitely miss this or risk missing the next one.. Dropping someone to shield them from getting a 5th yellow would be silly.
