    Same lineup for Hull.
Early season, so no need for any rotation/resting, any of that nonsense.

Medium term we need to get Miki in there. Mata is the obvious easy change, Rooney is the brave one.

So many people leaving Mata out, despite being probably our best player in these two games? Unbeliveable.

So many people wanting Smalling back in?? That's even more unbelievable! Guaranteed to give away at least three penalties before the new year....I'd put money on it. I don't think I could watch the City game if he was starting.

There's absolutely nothing wrong with the Bailly/Blind pairing. Can't see how Smalling would improve it?

Because he conceeded less than 3 penalties in his career? Okay...

I take it you haven't watched any of the games this weekend???
I have, he knows to defend without pulling shirts when he wants too, he just took advantage because the refs didn't find it to be against the rules.

Disagree. It's just part of his game. Even when he got sent off last season for it he didn't learn. He's just really bad at it and can't even do it discreetly.

He's always getting caught out so has to resort to grabbing shirts or pulling players to stop them getting away. I do hope he learns and cuts it out but I just don't have much confidence in him at all. He's only got to do it once though before Jose sorts him out. I just won't forgive him if he gifts City a penalty.

I'd say Shawcross and Smalling are the worst at it and Shawcross got found out today.

Mata one of the best players  he's been the passenger of the team and that's not good enough. A few good touches and suddenly he is one of the best players in the past 2 games? Did he contribute anything? Even Rooney has done more than him.

I've been very surprised with Hull so far, I was expecting them to really struggle but they've now won their first two games - incredibly. It will probably be tougher than I thought but we should still be winning. This is a game I would bring Lingard or Mkhitaryan in for Mata.

Hull aren't quite the relegation certs in turmoil that the media have been presenting for weeks, and today made 2 wins for them as well.

However, we need to be putting these teams away if we have an eye on the league
To be honest 8 days ago i thought too Hull will surely go down with all their problems and we would easily beat them.
Why the feck is there an international break already. Barely anyone gives a toss about internationals, it's just completely pointless and unnecessary.
Yeah there shouldn't be a international break in September (especially after tournaments in June/July like i've said in another thread) but that international break in September is in place since already since over 20 years.

He's interchanged with players in the final third very well and compliments valencia well both going forward (tucking in and offering the full back space to gallop) and defensively.

I'm not saying mkhitaryan say, wouldn't offer the same but Mata has done well. He's been better than Rooney too. Very odd comment to make.

 Seriously? He was pretty good in the first game and average yesterday on the whole. He wasn't the best by a long shot. Valencia, Zlatan, Bailly, Blind all performed better over the two games.

It's not the time for experiments. Hull look weak on paper, but they've won their first two games and their confidence will be sky high for the game, especially if they manage to get some signings in by Saturday.

We need our strongest possible eleven in order to get the valuable win. It'd be fantastic to start with three straight wins before the international break, which would give us some breathing space for the home game against City.

We should win this, but there are no guarantees. Rotating in the third game of the season would be asking for trouble, especially if it means playing Memphis, who's shite.

I think it will be the same starting 11 with maybe the exception of Henrikh coming into the team for maybe Mata or Rooney. That's wishful thinking though. It's going to be a tough match as Hull have done surprisingly good in their first two games. Hopefully we can get the win and continue on this good form before the stupid, pointless international break and come back in good spirits before we take on City.

Winning this game will again show we are heading in the right direction. We would have won 2 away games. Away games against the bottom half clubs is what killed LVG.

feck sake, this is ages away. I need more.
    LOL. That's what I'm thinking.

I am hoping Mourinho goes in with more pace in the middle and out wide, drop rooney and mata, maybe martial since he needs a rest. Hull is a kind of side Mourinho really could use more pace to hurt hull, I would have mourinho drop pogba into the no10 role
Rooney won't be dropped for the time being. He'll be shoe-horned into a position, if that's what it takes.
Martial does not need a rest. He has hardly played during the Summer and he needs game time to get back into form. In our last game, Martial was going goal-bound every time he got hold of the ball, so he is not doing as badly as some are making out.
I agree that Mata should be replaced, though given that Mata has featured in all our games/wins, he'll play again.

Mourinho likes consistency in his team line-ups, so expect the same team which started against Southampton, to also start against Hull. In fairness, there is no need to make any changes - the team which played against Southampton should be able to dominate Hull.

I have a bad feeling about that game. Looks like I'm still not cured from the last 3 season syndrome

We are all underestimating Hull. Including me.

4-0 to us. Pogba to open its account. I can also see Jose trying a Bailly-Smalling partnership. Zlatan and Martial to be rested (on bench).

    .......................DDG.........................
    Valencia...Bailly...Smalling...Shaw
    .............Pogba....Fellaini................
    Mikh...................................Lingard
    ..........Rashford....Rooney..............
