It's maddening that we actually have the most impact full subs in the league and yet he still doesn't use them early enough.

The disparity between the way people talk about James and VdB is hilarious.

Every half-average touch James does is counted like an away goal and therefore counts as double. Meanwhile, VdB gets 2 mins and injury time at the end of a game where everyone (bar Shaw and AWB) are playing terrible and have got no legs left, but of course, VdB is the one who has done bad.

That's a great stat, still doesn't change the fact that he makes the subs always at the same time.

Everyone here knew he was taking James for Pogba in the 75th since the beginning, no matter if we are drawing, winning or loosing. We could very well hand in the subs before the game.

I don't mind giving Cavani and Pogba a rest, but if so, start DvB in James' position. And if you are going to give those two stars a rest, if it's 0-0, get them on after 60 minutes. Don't wait until 75th and 86th minute. Ole gets donkey of the match today...

Is the games when he subs early or subs late that have done the most impact?
I don't like 88 minutes subs when we are looking for a goal and have problem create chances.
Thats the kind of subs you do to disturb the game if you are winning...
In the other hand I would be more worried if Ole did everything right, every time, and we didn't performed better than this :0)

That's a nonsense, the game had a very high tempo. I am not sure why so many fans claim that because it just feels right to moan we didn't get our three points which should be every games objective. Was lacking a bit of final third quality but was a very intense game and just didn't work out today. Certainly not good enough but if we played like this half of our dull zombie games earlier in the season we could get some good points getting us closer to Citeh

Poor game all round both sides looked like they couldn't hit a barn door, leeds played more conservative than they have been in the main to stay in prem. Chances we couldn't take it was a decent performance lacking quality when needed. Cross it off the list move on
