Hopefully Henderson and Pogba starting, the rest of the team is automatic.

Play the best XI possible, maybe with the exception of Bruno. Quite a few of the players will get some rest during the break anyway.

One of instrumental things this season is to see Cavani living up to 200k wages and play about 30+ matches this season. His goals and experience are badly needed, especially now in final stages of the season.

Conceded two goals last time, but think we can win this with maintaining solid defense.

I think Rashford has been playing through injury for a few too many games now, if Donny and Pogba are ready for selection then I'd keep Marcus on the bench.

It's really tough to predict a line up with so many players carrying injuries or running on empty.

There's also the dilemma of it being a cup game - so potentially 120 minutes - and whether to use some off the bench so they're there at the end rather than have to take them off with the game still in the balance.

For that reason, I'd probably start with only one of Pogba or Fernandes - so that one can come on after an hour or so as I doubt either could manage 90/120 minutes and we need at least one on the pitch at the business end of the game.

Guessing on who's fit / fit to start, I'd go for something like...

    Henderson
AWB, Lindelof / Bailly, Maguire, Shaw
    Fred, McTominay
    Greenwood, Fernandes, James
    Martial / Cavani

Hopefully Martial and / or Cavani are fit, and the likes of Pogba, Rashford, VdB are available to be used at some point.

It's the same for both sides within a game or two. Play the strongest team we can and see if it's good enough

    ‐-------------Henderson-------------
    AWB---Bailly--Maguire--Shaw
    ----------Fred-------Pogba-----------
    ‐‐---‐-----------DvdB-------------------
    James‐-----Cavani-----Telles

    McT sub Pogba
Amad sub Shaw. moves Telles to lb/James to lw
    Martial sub Cavani or James.

I have no idea how important this game is for Brandon. He could go full in considering the break is coming up and they have quite a few players that will get some rest during that. He would of course love to have a chance for a title and this is the last chance. Periera, Maddison, Barnes out with injuries.
The speed on top is of course to be aware of, but they do play up through the middle really good even with Maddison out.

Hope we do rest some players and play others like Pogba, Cavani and DvdB to get them game fit again. Especially Pogba seems to need a lot of game time to get back after injuries.

Looking forward to the game and think its going to be a great one but tight! We have 4 wins in the last 5 against them, 1 draw. 3 of the wins with only 1 goal deference.

We are playing a small team. Anything less than a win is not acceptabel.

With Barnes and Maddison out for Leicester, we really should be confident for this one. Put out our best available XI (available means properly fit so not Rashford) and take the game to Leicester.

Is everyone fit other than Martial? If so,

    Henderson
    AWB Lindelof Maguire Shaw
    Mctominay Pogba
    Greenwood Bruno Rashford
    Cavani

I wonder if we might see Amad get a start, with Rashford, Martial and Cavani being doubts and Pogba not being potentially ready for a start?

If Ole is smart, he'd keep Henderson playing. He has been on decent form. de Gea should earn his place back.
Wouldn't that mean playing De Gea for the cup games though? (Tomorrow included)

Leicester players should be fresher but both sides have had some injury issues and I'm never quite sure what I can expect from either in terms of a performance over 90 minutes. Should be an interesting one. Leicester playing two forwards might be interesting considering our defence has looked very comfortable and well set up as of late.

I'll go for United win, 1-0 or 2-1 after being pegged in a bit at times. Another away win.

There's a break after this game for 2 weeks I believe ? So just play most of the main team :

    Henderson
    AWB - Lindelof - Maguire - Shaw
    Scott - Fred
    Bruno
    James - Rashford - Pogba

We’re so controlled in these types of games, I’m expecting 1-0, 1-1 or 2-1 tops

Go full strength, the FA cup is huge in our season

    Hopefully 0-1 in our favour

Internationals so no, not a break for most of the first team unfortunately.

Would expect/hope Pogba to start for one of McFred and perhaps Bailly for Lindelof with his dodgy back. Assuming Cavani and Martial are still out, no other changes.

The guy from the small team can spell acceptable
Interesting to hear a Leicester fans perspective, do you think you have a good chance?

I think with us playing in Europe it’s a good time to play us.

Can't wait to see an injured Rashford start, do nothing for 45m then get subbed off.

Exactly. Tomorrow will be another in a litany or 3 or 4/10 performances from him if he is started. It’s time for both the player & the club to show intelligence & maturity & sit him / not even have him on the bench.

He's undroppable even when injured. The decision to start him against AC was ridiculous. Basically a wasted half of the game as everything was going through AWB and James down the right and it was painful.

This one has bottle it time written all over it - but we've somehow banished Leicester in the last few years. So who knows.

We don't have a very good track record against you guys so not feeling overly confident. We have injuries as well as you so that probably evens out but I don't see you being tired from playing on Thursday.

Why? We played against Milan in a close game, playing almost all first choice players.

Anyways on the game, we do well against Leicester but I'm never confident against them. They have good team and when they click they can smash any team by playing good football.

We will win this one only to lose to City in the semis while Chelsea get another free pass to a final again.

    I’m looking forward to this.

When we play well, we’re a really good, slick team. We have struggled against you, more than anyone in recent years though.

We’re over the worst of our recent injury crisis, however we’re missing Justin, Barnes, Maddison, Under and Ricardo. Vardy hasn’t been in great form goal scoring wise. Albeit his generally play has been a lot better with him dropping deeper and out wide.

We’ll go with a hybrid 3-1-3-1-2, dropping in to a 4-4-2 I’d imagine. Losing Justin who was arguably player of the season until his injury has forced the hand with formation recently.

It’ll look something like I‘d imagine.

    Kasper
    Forfana Evans Soyuncu
    N’Didi
    Albrighton Tielemans. Castagne
    Perez
    Nacho Vardy

The only difference is if drops in one of the younger lads Tavares, Lashebela, Thomas or Praet is fit to start.

Might need another favour from Agent Evans if we don't look like scoring again.

    Ddg or Henderson?

That's the interesting one for me.
It is a nice conundrum but given that Dean has performed well and DDG has not played a competitive game for a while, it doesn’t make sense to drop the man in form.
But then again it’s sport... common sense often goes out the window

Well Henderson was the cup Keeper but now he's been playing im interested to see what happens. In fact it's maybe the next game that will show us where the manager is at. If DDG comes in today it could be an indication that he's now the cup Keeper.
    Next game tells alot

I’m sure we’re away but the front page has us playing at Old Trafford? Home or Away what is it?

Its away, which favours us strangely as our away form is better than home. I guess because teams are more likely to come out and play and leave us space to get in behind their defence..
after this match we have a full week off to rest. I’d still expect a couple of changes as we played in Europe Thursday.

Pogba will come on at half time again imo.
DDG a likely starter, Bally in for Victor - hard to predict the front 3 as they are all undergoing assessment. James and greenwood will start and then its 1 from Martial cavanni Rashford.
I’d leave Rashford to get fit so its 1 from martial and Cavani for me.
