We'll probably need to have the kitman place an Argentina shirt in a strategic location in the away dressing room. Then, we'll need the help of Zeus, Poseidon, and whoever the god of jammy penalties is.

Well we have lost 3 of our 4 games prior to this and the one we did win we conceded over twice as many chances to them at home. I think we will get beat easily in both legs even with our strongest team, which under Ole like Jose before him bizarrely consists of Ashley Young.

Think this will be a rough end to the season, with a few more defeats and one of City or Liverpool winning the league and potentially City equalling our treble.

Roll on the summer and my dream of us actually buying some great players to replace our shit ones.

We can win if we set up in a smart way. I would start by trying to press them a bit. Although all 11 players need to do it well together for it to work. Pogba is one that need to improve in that regard.

If we can get an advantage we should probably try to defend a bit deeper and play on the counter. Try to give little space in the center and force them out on the wing. Focus on Messi of course maybe even doing some kind of man marking against him.

There's no way we're not conceding dangerous free-kicks. Our players have the mental focus of a kid on E numbers. Half of our team are instinctive, rash and clumsy, and that's at the best of times. They'll also be looking to hit the deck in and around the 18 yard area, anyway.

McT earned a start. Hope Matić wont be back for this. Which CBs to put. Lindelof and Mike? Hope Mike wont have a horror show like today.

Can't wait for us to face Barca at OT. I think there will be a good number of goals over two legs - let's just hope (with a huge dollop of luck) we outscore them!

I don't expect us to get through this, but this could be ugly.

If it is, nearly all the momentum and prospects that got OGS the job will have gone.

Get the feeling that our players had an eye on this game tonight.

Be a tough game, but I reckon (we have to) step up.

I reckon we'll get thumped home and away, but that's probably the lineup next week. Rashford centre and Lukaku on the right I'd think.

I went for 3-3 like in 1999

Is there any real hope for this one? I think if we'd won tonight we would have gone into the game feeling at least a little bit more positive but the mood at the club seems to have fallen badly since the PSG game.

Atletico Madrid won tonight and Barca drew which keeps the La Liga title race open and maybe Atletico could give them a tough game at the weekend. That's my hope anyway.

Is there any weaknesses in their team to exploit?

Either we'll up our game and get a reasonable result or we'll get humiliated.

I think it can only go two ways, either we score first and give the game of the season and go to Camp Nou with at least a one goal difference or we will get humilliated. Barcelona is truly impressive in the Nou Camp, and if we are in disadvantage I don't see how we can get ourselves back.

    No worries
Gutted I can't be at OT for this one. I think regardless of form, not to mention Barca are simply far superior to us right now, it should be a cracking game.

1-3 or 4 Barca. I would have given us a chance at home to Barca after the PSG match but the wheels have truly come off since. Unfortunately for Ole Things could still get very ugly before the end of the season. It also seems quite a lot of players are unsettled now too. I’m just holding out for the summer at this stage to see what’s next for us. Oles done a great job but it seems we’ve majorly hit the wall again. It’s not just motivation and pride in the shirt we are missing. This team is still very short in attacking ideas without pogba playing well and pogba is really inconsistent and has been playing horribly again for ages now. We were really lucky against PSG without him but we haven’t been able to carry him when he’s playing badly, we aren’t good enough to. He’s a luxury we can’t afford on his not arsed days. He’s so important to us and he’s not at the races on current form. We have zero creativity or unpredictability through the middle of the pitch when he goes missing.

Their defense or more importantly the lack of defending from their midfield.

Recent weeks have made me go from buzzing about this tie to really not giving a shit about it
    Same.

I mean, our recent peformances have been a bit hopeless. Luckily Barcelona aren't particularly incredible this season so you never know.

We’re gonna get smashed. Could turn ugly.
My fears exactly, but one bright spot is that they do concede plenty of goals and their keeper is Llorisesque. For evidence of this see how he was beaten at the near post last night.
But yeah, will we get a kick...?

    No bullshit.

    De Gea
    Dalot Lindelöf Rojo Shaw
    McTominay
    Mata Fred Pogba Lingard
    Rashford

We need hard workers. We don’t want Smalling or Jones or Young fecking this up for us. Mata has good ball retention so he’ll be perfect for this game. Lingard over Martial purely for workrate. Rashford against Pique could be filthy.

    Here, there, everywhere...
Will give us the chance to play underdog and park the bus; which quite honestly suits us right now.

    I'll go with:

    De Gea
    Smalling Lindelof Jones
    Dalot Herrera McTommy Shaw
    Pogba
    Rashford Martial
Really need Herrera to be fully fit for this one. We are fecked if he is not on his A game. A sneaky 1-0 win would be awesome.

If we beat Barca, it's Porto in the semis and Juve in the final (who we've already beaten). This is a winnable comp.
