Casemiro would be in the electric chair right now if he did that.

Exactly
It’s fairly « normal » for teams to have periods of domination and then being dominated. We seem to want to start games very strongly a la Arsenal or title winning Liverpool, in order to get a 1 or 2 goals advantage before players need to slow the tempo and rest. The only downsides to that half, were losing a grip on the game after about 30 minutes, which lead up to Shaw’s blunder…. and not converting those clear cut chances.
We should be up 3 or 4 nil.
As it stands, we need to get an early goal after the break and put Bournemouth on the back foot again.
We should win this, but just as easily throw away the points again like the WHU game.
That was our poor half! We’ll step it up in the 2nd half.So we usually have one good half and I’m hoping we break that curse today. Big 45 mins coming up
Rather go in 1-1 than lose the recordI love the added level of stress this little beauty adds every time we're leading at HT![]()
"It is, uhh, how you say, uhh, the slim pickings this time of the year."Why is Giroud doing punditry on United v Bournemouth?
It´s the fact that Semenyo was clearly out of control and looking for Dalot that makes it worse. You´re basically saying that it´s ok to initiate a confrontation as well as raise your hands.
No question that´s a red for one of ours.
I don't think Sesko starts if that attack are all fit and available, there is a lot of good stuff building there.
Mount bound to miss games unfortunately, excellent player when fit.
Yet we still manage to concede. If we cut that out we can really focus on improving. Can never win convincingly to nilHardest I've seen us work all season. Some really good performances across the park. Mount playing well, Ditto Bruno and Case. Mbeumo and Cunha linking will. Possibly the best I've seen dalot all season
Casemiro would be in the electric chair right now if he did that.

Fair enough, meets the threshold if that’s it."clearly make forceful contact by holding or grabbing the throat/neck area, or gouges the eye of an opponent or any other person"
The law for violent conduct
Heaven was really poor for the Semenyo goal.
De Ligt shuts him down.

Yeah, it's weird isn't it. We always look like giving one up.Yet we still manage to concede. If we cut that out we can really focus on improving. Can never win convincingly to nil
Heaven was shocking but I agree was mostly Shaw
Aggressively. Casemiro held someone by the throat to keep a player away
It's perfectly poised, 300 wins, 25 draws, 1 loss.always mentioning this shit, it's like were actively trying to jinx it.
At full time “take the second left for the cinema”Giroud's talking like he's practicing basic sentences on Duolingo
Injury incomingMount will be our most important player during AFCON
He’s a terrible pundit. Can barely get a sentence out. He won’t be back. Why is Giroud doing punditry on United v Bournemouth?
I'm sure Pepe managed a couple in his time.Fair enough, meets the threshold if that’s it.
Eye gouges, can’t remember the last time I saw one of them on the football pitch.
We needed DeLigt in that situationDefinitely mostly on Shaw, incredibly weak to lose the ball out there.
Heaven is young and inexperienced, they'll hopefully look at it after and he'll figure out when to engage. Collins did the exact same last week vs Spurs, waited too long to step across and Simons scored.
I think Vidic was really good at dealing with these, he used to angle his movement slightly away and then cut across the player with the ball to block the shot.
Probably because we haven't been leading at OT enough for it to come under risk too oftenHow this record has continued since Fergie's retirement, with all the lows and humiliations we've had at OT, is remarkable.
And, nah, I don't believe in jinxes.

Exactly, the level of aggression in what he did, running towards him and grabbing the throat makes it a clear red card. It´s the fact that Semenyo was clearly out of control and looking for Dalot that makes it worse. You´re basically saying that it´s ok to initiate a confrontation as well as raise your hands.

Heaven is, at a push, the fourth most culpable player for that goalIt’s fairly « normal » for teams to have periods of domination and then being dominated. When/if it works, you can go into half time with a 3-0 advantage.
When it doesn’t work, which is often the case for us because of poor finishing, we end up with 1 goal advantage and poor confidence means we’re shaky at the back.
I for one am quite happy with this half. We were clearly the better team, and the goal from Semenyo is textbook inexperience from Heaven, which is what you get when you play young players
No kink shaming pleaseI'm sure Pepe managed a couple in his time.
Vinnie Jones used to stick his fingers in eye sockets pretty regularly
