We can’t usurp City if they lose. Unfortunately the best result is a City win.I feel if we win this?
We will be top 4. Palace or city must drop points and Chelsea could easily drop some against Everton. We finally have a a goal difference that’s not 1 or zero. Time to step up.
"Maguire is out De Ligt is out. Ben, we have to see if he is available. He had some food poisoning – we have two trainings still."
"We are still in conversations with the national teams. The game is Monday, they are here and training, but we are preparing all the scenarios for the game."
Because we are the noobs who don’t play in any uefa competition, therefore get the monday slot.wtf are we playing every week on Monday? Why?
I want games on Saturday.
Yep, time to post negative stuff on internet as much as you can.Dayum 1 game against a very poor wolves side and the gloating has returned.
We failed to beat 10 men Everton and WHU at home.
Bizzarely aggressive comment. There were reports that if Sesko had stayed on the pitch aginst Spurs he could have been out for the season. This wasn't some "little misstep," knee injuries are no joke. He's not even confirmed out for Monday either.Because we are the noobs who don’t play in any uefa competition, therefore get the monday slot.
And what’s with sesko ffs? He is out since FIVE weeks from this little misstep he did when wasting a sitter and now has food poisoning? We have a multi million training complex with chefs and all plus he‘s a millionaire.
The lack of transparency with De Ligt’s injury is a bit annoying. We’ve gone from “he should be fine for Wolves” to him now missing a third consecutive game.No De Ligt, No Maguire and Sesko is suffering from food posioning. We dont know if the AFCON players are allowed play.

He did elaborate and say he is feeling something in his back and although it seems minor they are not wanting to rush him back as he is still feeling discomfort. Seems like something he might be able to play through but the team is wisely choosing not to risk it as we do have rotation options available. It is a bit annoying it is happening when Maguire is out though as they are obviously the two best suited to playing in the middle of the back 3.The lack of transparency with De Ligt’s injury is a bit annoying. To be fair, very few people have a grasp of logic AND are able to apply it to their own arguments before posting them.Excellent. He hasnt returned since.
I hope we win the argument, would be very unfair to lose our AFCON players due to playing on a Monday night, whilst all other teams are able to use theirs this weekend.Hope the 3 AFCON players can play this game as don’t fancy our chances without them.
Spot on.wtf are we playing every week on Monday? Why?

The 15th is the mandatory date for clubs to release players, this is a FIFA regulation. They actually extended it to that from the 8th.Who is deciding whether or not these players are 'allowed' to play? This is really getting a bit ridiculous.
This match is on the 15th; AFCON doesn't start until the 21st. There's no reason these players shouldn't be available on Monday.
Be interesting if the PL has left themselves open to legal action by essentially handicapping us by making us play on the Monday. Bournemouth also, but not sure if they’re actually impacted. The 15th is the mandatory date for clubs to release players, this is a FIFA regulation. They actually extended it to that from the 8th.
So the decision now is for the individual countries to make if a request is made, as we did with Onana and Cameroon in the last tournament. On this occasion Mbeumo is expected to be made captain so it's very possible they will not allow him to turn up late. Similarly for Mazraoui, with Morocco being hosts and playing in the opening game I would expect them to be more reluctant to let him play the extra match.
Their best player is affected as well, isn't he?Be interesting if the PL has left themselves open to legal action by essentially handicapping us by making us play on the Monday. Bournemouth also, but not sure if they’re actually impacted.
Personally I don’t agree. I think it’s very unfair on the match going fans, many of whom are working but want to support United.Everything written in this forum is subjective, you can be outraged if you want, but I think it's unreasonable.
Our club has been far too accommodating of the bullshit media narrative. I wish we were nastier with the media especially in these circumstances.Ghana did not qualify for the AFCON, so Semenyo is going to play, which means if our players can't play, we would be the only team affected this matchweek.
This is one of those cases that I feel like the club should make more of a ruckus about. Liverpool would have made a lot of noise about it, and it would have been the main story in the media this past week.
I smoke cigarettes, drink a lot of beer and I’m poor as feck. Yet I haven’t been sick in a year and play sports almost everyday and never get injured. Albeit not on the same level as these lads of course but I play with high intensity. I just stretch a bit before I play, but these guys have recovery sessions and sports medicine and still get injured (or food positioning which is ridiculous).Because we are the noobs who don’t play in any uefa competition, therefore get the monday slot.

This is the reason I think the AFCON countries will allow ours to play. They can be in Morocco by 3am (our time) Tuesday morning by private jet.Ghana did not qualify for the AFCON, so Semenyo is going to play, which means if our players can't play, we would be the only team affected this matchweek.

Controversial opinion but if you’re injury prone or get sick easily you have no place in top level football. Sorry but we need to be able to rely on players to be available, that’s just the way it is. We don’t spend millions and millions on these players just because it’s fun. So even if it isn’t your fault, tough luck but that’s the way it is with shitty genetics. I could absolutely boot someone out of the club if they’re injured too much. I was so sick of Pogba for example being injured everytime we needed him. And I’m also sick of us signing new players and they’re out for weeks when we’re starting to build momentum.
Let’s hope this isn’t the case for Sesko and this is just bad luck, a rare occurrence.
This x 100Incredible take. 10/10.
I wish we played on Sunday…Just another manic Monday!
Couldn’t agree more. Way too many overly sentimental fans imo. You‘re a professional and get paid millions, you don’t get food poisoning.
