Ronaldo looks emotional. Is he off?
Seemed like he felt his hamstring a bit. He really put in a shift today and I hope he does have a chance to hit 20 league goals. I don't know that I fully agree with the pundits that he should be here next season, but he's been brilliant the past few games. Complete turnaround to the months before.

If this team put in just a bit more effort with the right mentality, we would have easily been in fourth - atrocious how we dropped like a stone

Today's line up had players willing to work for the shirt and it counted

Had a decent game, made a lot of important defensive clearances, passed it quickly if conservatively but barely a positive word about him on here.

Not a massive fan by any means but also not a fan of people only wanting to point out the negatives in a performance.
He was bang average in a game we had full control of.

Maybe we should just ditch English players?
If they play as bad as Maguire, Lingard & Rashford then I'm all for that.

So this walkout protest taking place?
Is it feck, we are winning for once & 50,000 are day trippers from 100s or 1000s of miles away & don't give a fig about protesting against the Glazers, hell, from what I saw, even those wearing the Green & Gold seemed not interested in walking out.

This is the best we've played all season, so :-/
It just sums up the protests in general.
results are rubbish - let’s start a protest
Utd winning 3-0 - ah let’s stay we’re winning we’ll protest the next time we lose .

Or maybe. The protests are nothing to do with results?

The result was what is expected the performance was OK, much better than The opposition, Mata awesome and good luck to him, he should have been played more this season Imo, we kept the ball for long periods which was better, attached well kept the ball higher up the pitch which was better.

Overall good result but it's Brentford not Barcelona. Roll on summer and next season. Hope Ronny stays .

At least @el diablorojo got to see the GOAT putting on a show! Viva Ronaldo!
He was much better last night than when he sulked about at our place earlier in the season but still not as good as he was back in his first stint - saw him score a hattrick against Newcastle at OT back in the day.

Haven't been to OT for about 10 years or so and it is in a sorry state - hopefully that actually gets sorted. Terrible home support but completely understandable as hardly anything to get excited about and clear that a lot of people had sacked it off and sold their tickets to tourists.

Shame that some idiots decided to turn their protests about the Glaziers as an excuse to attack Bees fans in the safe standing entrance areas and targeting parents with children totally pathetic but we all have some absolute cretins in all fanbases. Most genuine United fans (the non-tourists) I interacted with were knowledgeable, respectful and a credit surprisingly they were all onboard with my dream finale to this special season - to relegate Leeds on the last day by thrashing them at New Griffin Park ;)

We didn't really turn up at all but still caused a few problems - should be back next season too and we can do it all again but hopefully with a better result for us ;)

Sorry you had a bad experience with some fans. Old Trafford is a bit angry at the moment given how the seasons been along with the protests over the owners. Add alcohol to the mix and I’m sure the idiots can be a nightmare for away fans.

Plenty of plans in place for Old Trafford in the summer and a costing being done for full refurbishment v rebuild v move. Shall see what the Glazers commit to but it seems the wheels are in motion. Atmosphere would have likely been better had the game been close but it did slowly fade in to a testimonial after the second goal. As you point out though other factors at play too.

Should be a good one next season with a much more positive vibe around the club under the new manager. You might even get to see the Ronaldo show all over again if you’re lucky!:D
