Great performance after the first 10 minutes, that Sesko goal goes in and we get the penalty we should’ve got and it’s 4-0 vs Brighton at half time. Madness.

Sesko should've made it 3, lad went for power on his weaker side, but have to put those on target to matter. Very happy for Cunha, hopefully it calms him down now that he's opened his account.

Anyway, we've played well. It's easy to see the impact a good keeper and good forwards have. It's also easy to see where we can improve. Like Casemiro being a yard faster gives us a lot in both attack and defense. A better LWB than Dalot would help immensely.

But we've done well with what we have and now it's only a matter of seeing this game out. Brighton will of course continue to threaten, but we've got enough firepower to put this game to bed.

Appreciate the hard work of Sesko today even as he should have done way better with that chance

Looks like we dodged a bullet with Baleba, looking forward to a center midfielder like Wharton and a new LWB next summer.

Brighton played us off the park for 10 -15 minutes. Running through us at will.
Our front players pressing well and forced ourselves back into the game.
Great to see cunha up and running with a superb bending shot.
Lamens looks so safe, that welbeck shot would be in with onana in net

On that Amad incident, the ball didn't evenget brushed ffs  How do you not give that as a pen when you have tons of replays ??

I was trying to see this too, VAR says that De Cuyper played the ball, but I couldn't see a touch on the replay

He is a good player and is good with the ball. Hard working too. Much better then Rasmus.

Not to tempt fate but I think this is the difference between the team now and the team last season. Last season we go 1-0 or even 2-0 down in the first 15 minutes and completely fold after.

VAR states on the Diallo situation: "De Cuyper plays the ball". What, are they blind? The sheer incompetence of PL refereeing is becoming a huge embarassment. You don't see this shit in international football.

While we're at HT. Heck of a goal by McSauce again!!

Beautiful striker of a ball McT. Not trusting his first touch on the long ball and letting it drop shows the duality of quality.

Fotmob shows our xG at 0.40 and Brighton at 0.48.
Well that's why analysing a game via xG is terrible. It's a terrible stat on a game to game basis. To take anything out of it you need hundreds of games. However, it wasn't really a dominating performance, but I felt United was still a better side, not comfortably better, but more threatening.

He's pressing like a mad man at times. Liked what I saw from him, but agree he should've done a lot better with his shot.
He's getting himself in good positions though, might still get on the scoreboard today.

do we have a buy back clause for him? I think Amorim will be able to make good use of him in current team.

Separately for Mbeumo incident, I can't understand how can that penalty be denied? I am quite sure if that happens to the opposition team, they will get the penalty. Do the referees in UK dislike Man Utd in general?
