Logically he should rotate Yoro in, but he may not drop Maguire after his performance at Anfield. He doesn't really drop de Ligt, so maybe Yoro in for Shaw on the left.

Up front, again logically he should rotate Sesko in, but he surely won't drop Cunha after last Sunday and he loves Mason Mount. I'd like to see a Cunha-Sesko-Mbeumo front 3 because I think that combo has only started one game all season if I'm not mistaken.

One change I think we'll see is Dorgu in for Dalot at LWB.

He might want to give Mazraoui a start if he's available, but I really, really hope it's not at RWB for Amad. We get nothing offensively out of Maz at wing back.

Big decision for Amorim on who to start upfront. Both Sesko and Cunha give us different styles of attacking. It’s very good options to have depending on the opponent

The Big question is does Bruno need a rest?

His goals in previous seasons have made the difference but this season outside the number 10 role he hasn’t been as dangerous, I do know he’s the biggest creator chance wise but I don’t think he’s at his usual level.

Missing pens, so many poor passes against pool.

A rest might mentally and physically do him good and allow us to have Mount, Sesko, Cuhna and Embeumo on the same pitch.

I’m ready to be shot down but I feel he needs it. Or do you give him the gave to see if confidence and swagger finally shows throughout the team after a big win and finally getting two wins In a row?

I think Cunha as the striker is a good option to have in tough away games, but I feel like we have to believe in Sesko in a game like this. I really want him, Cunha and Mbeumo.

Amorim seems to love Mason Mount, though, so I wouldn't be surprised if he keeps the same front three from Liverpool.

Agree with this, I feel like that front 3 are now (touch wood) injury free and it now feels like the time to let them start a game together.

Mason Mount has been quality to be fair. He presses like mad and gives us good energy. We’ve got some very good options in the attacking positions for a change.

Yeah, it's the good kind of selection headache. Our depth at the #10 position would be good, even if we played midweek as well.

Amorim can go both ways, and I would be fine with it. His team selection vs. Liverpool was spot on. I just think Cunha is so enjoyable to watch, his creativity is great, and I would love for him to get off the mark soon.

I’d rotate a little to confuse Brighton.

    ———————Lammens——————

    ———maguire—de light —yoro———

    -amad—-Casemiro-mainoo—maz—

    —————-Mbeumo—-Sesko————

    ———————-cunha———————-

2nd half: we bring on Bruno, Maguire, Mount if we’re chasing the game. Hopefully we win 2-0 though.

I hope we continue with the long passing, and presume we will.
Hope so too. And honestly, i love it.
Watching us trying to pass it out of our own half with +40 passes these last few years, only to give away a corner in the end has been painful.
Very painful. And boring as well.

Even MU fans would be confused if Amorim put Maguire as a RCB and Maz as LWB.

I’m very surprised shaws managed so many games without injury so far. I’d put Yoro in for this one though. Think he can deal with Brighton’s attackers.

The one thing I'm more confident of is that we have a goalkeeper who won't be the source of a howler, letting them score from their first shot on target.

We need to keep the momentum onside. Two wins on the trot in the league for the first time ever under Amorim should be the catalyst we need. In an ideal world, we absolutely batter them, but we need to turn up and not shit the bed. Something we are very capable of doing.

Hard to predict, heart says 3-1 United, head says one goal margin either way.

My first game I will be attending at Old Trafford since May 2017. Which was a nothing game vs Crystal Palace. Last game of season and Europa final was a few days later

Has Brighton been good this season? I don’t like playing them but it’s at Old Trafford so we’ll smash them 3-2 or something like that

Yeah, they've actually had a very decent start to the season given that they've already played - and beaten - City, Chelsea and Newcastle. They've also drawn v Tottenham having been 2-0 up. They've lost to Everton (first game at the new stadium I think) and away to Bournemouth. Only poor result was the draw away to Wolves. They're still in the League Cup and also similarly to us drew 1-1 at Fulham.

In this case, I'd take a draw.

Two changes - Yoro for Maguire and Sesko for Mount.

    Lammens
Yoro - de Ligt - Shaw
    Amad - Bruno - Casemiro - Dalot
    Mbeumo - Cunha
    Sesko

Given our recent history, especially with this opponent, I think a good performance and three points will be most welcome. A defeat could be awful here as it would undo all the recent goodwill immediately and make us feel it's more of the same - raising our game for big name opponents but not having actually turned a corner.

It absolutely needs to be a win. We need to finally instill a belief in the squad that they can go on a run and be consistent in terms of performance level.

A defeat at home to Brighton undoes everything and just leaves us directionless and random. It’s must win.

Think Mount will stay in the team. That ability he has to disrupt the double pivot and put pressure on the opposition´s midfield was crucial at Anfield.

He was an unsung hero against Liverpool. Ran his socks off and not in the headless chicken sense, either. He´s a very smart presser.

From now on, if he´s fit, Amorim will generally be using him as a starter.

The XI comes down, it seems to me, whether we believe Brighton will sit and counter or whether they'll try to take the game to us, mano a mano. I suspect the latter, in which case I'd go with Dorgu over Dalot for the athleticism we'll need, and Sesko over Mount, this Cunha Sesko and Mbeumo. We really haven't seen it yet, but Sesko has fantastic pace and would be a tremendous outlet when we hit on the counter.

I'd go with Dorgu over Dalot regardless.
