I wouldn't rest anyone, go full strength because we have a real opportunity of finishing 3rd.
Cup Final is a week afterwards and it's a coin toss anyway, with us having the chance of the coin landing on the edge.
    Agreed.

Keep Casemiro, Rashford, Eriksen and Varane away from Old Trafford. Casemiro's wife can do the lap of honour for him.

I guess we'll see Maguire, both to give Varane the needed rest and allow Harry say his goodbye. Mix and match to keep the rhythm without unnecessary risks. We do need to give a good account of ourselves at Wembley.

There's no advantage to finishing third though is there?

I wouldn't be playing Varane, Rashford, Bruno, Casemeiro, De Gea at the very least. Assume Shaw won't play.

Whoever starting at RB can sit it out as well.

Could pick up any kind of knock (or daft red card).

As long as Casemiro doesn't start I'll be happy - we can bring him on for a 20 minute jog at the end.

Basically a full second string but with Sancho and Martial in for momentum and confidence.

Question mark for me is who comes in for Bruno. We still don't have a good back-up for him.

If we're willing to play a second string like this, then we should be willing to blood a youngster. I think Mainoo should get his full league debut as a reward for his YPotY award. Good message to send to the academy. And we should start testing him now, at 18, before consigning him to the loan carousel unnecessarily.

I'd say rest Bruno but he'd then probably show up at the womens match wearing a wig as he thinks he needs to play as much as he possibly can.

Start Wout to oil him up for the cup final.

Would not start Rashford as we probably didn't plan to have him playing as much against Chelsea. Start Sancho and Martial to build their confidence.

Not keen on Casemiro or Bruno starting with the cup final ahead but EtH likes keeping the match rhythm with his players.

I really would like to see Fred and/or McTominay get some minutes for their fitness ahead of the final.

Could play Sancho as a #10, with Pellistri going to the right. That would be a nice team in my eyes.

Then she sucks on my balls
I reckon you will see 5-6 changes and a strong bench with most the first team getting a half or slightly more mins, ten hag has standards and isn't going to throw a game with our good home record and keeping confidence levels up.

i just dont get it. People whine that sucks to play thursday-sunday all season due to europa. Talk about how nice it is that we finally have a week between games to rest up and train up. And now they want us to play starters again after clinching thursday? all just so we can finish one spot higher in a completely meaningless way (and this assumes we cant get a result against fulham without all the starters). People really want to see case play yet again and risk injury for that? Or to see any other starters get a possible freak injury like antony before our chance to stop the city treble? Seems fecking crazy to me. Not like the players would have been sitting for 2 weeks they just had the thursday game so barely a week rest, not near enough to lose any "momentum"

There is an advantage to finishing third - it allows us to qualify for the Champions League without getting there via winning "The Arsenal Cup"

There is no qualifying round these days for 4th is there?
But obviously we want to beat the upstarts Newcastle.

I don't think we'll see that many changes and certainly won't be starting youngsters imo (apart from maybe Garnacho). ETH 100% wants us winning to get 3rd and raise confidence going into the final.

    De Gea
    Dalot Maguire Lindelof Malacia
    Casemiro Fred
    Sancho Bruno Garnacho
    Rashford

Man Utd 3-0 Fulham (Rashford, Garnacho, Bruno)

Me personally, I'd rest all of our best players for this one.

If our previous game had been last weekend then there'd be a case for playing full strength to keep them ticking over, but they've only just played last night!

It's only a break of 9 days (well, 8 and a half days really) between Chelsea and the Cup final, they don't need another game in between that. Keep them fresh.

I definitely would play the fringe players, if one of them plays a blinder it would make the final selection for Ten Hag harder thus better.

Let’s field in young blood. It’s our tradition and a chance to rest the key players who have been exhausted during the intensive long season.

Are you talking about the qualifying round? Because that's gone. 4th goes to the group stage or are you talking about just not wanting to finish 4th?

I thought in our last game the good youth players were rewarded with a place on the bench and a few minutes on the pitch.
I wouldn't be surprised to see Gore and Mainoo make an appearance.

There would be a flood of money on Fulham winning the game 5 or 6 nil if we put that team out.

It seems like what happened to Antony isn't an enough warning to play key players.

    The only team that matters
Team I think depends on who he wants to start the final

Don't see Shaw, Varane or Rashford starting, if Eriksen and Sancho start then I don't see them starting the final, McT needs some mins so should play, Bruno shouldn't start but will, Casemiro the same, Maguire will start this one to use his slab head on Mitrovic, it's a toss up between Martial and Weghorst
