    Should be a fascinating game.
Fulham in decent form and a well-drilled side.
Will be these kind of games which tell us if Carrick is the real deal.

I want Sesko to start but dropping Amad or Mbeumo doesn't seem right and Cunha is probably deserving of a start too. A nice problem to have.

Amad hasn’t had a rest in a while. Mbeumo at least got half an hour off in the last two games, plus he’s on a scoring streak.

Cunha - Sesko - Mbeumo next game for me.

    -------------------------Lammens---------------------
    Dalot-----------Maguire----Martinez-------Shaw
    ------------------Casemiro---Mainoo---------------------
    Amad--------------------Bruno---------------------------Cunha
    ----------------------------Mbeumo--------------------------

I don't think you bother changing anything unless you have to in the case of Dorgu. Sesko can come on as a plan B.

I really think we can plod on with as close to the same team as possible for the next three games.

Start strong and sub on the likes of Sesko, Mount, Ugarte, Mazraoui and CB's if we have the luxury to get Yoro/Heaven minutes and de Ligt fitness when he returns.

Once we've played West Ham on February 10th, we don't play again until Everton on Monday night, February 23rd (effectively a winter break). This is the opportune time to let Mbuemo and Amad in particular rest.

We might set up a friendly or two during this break, but that's when Mazraoui, de Ligt, Yoro/Heaven, Ugarte, Fletcher, Mount, Zirkzee etc can get a game.

I haven`t seen much of them lately but they are sitting just 4 points behind us having scored a respectable amount of goals. In good form.
I doubt that this will be some attacking drill against a very low defensive line. We will have to be humble and be every bit as focused and aggresive as the last 2 games.

According to WhoScored, Fulham are weak in defending through balls and winning aerial duels. I am tempted to include Sesko, but I dont think that he will be able to play in tight spaces because I expect Fulham to keep it tight at the back. With Dorgu ruled out, our wide players, Cunha, Amad and Mbeumo, prefer to cut inside rather than go to the by-line and deliver crosses.

    My line up wll be
    Lammens
    Dalot Magure Martinez Shaw
    Casemiro Mainoo
    Amad Bruno Cunha
    Mbeumo
    United 3-1 Fulham

    October this season

    October. Sunderland, Liverpool and Brighton.

Yeah, not long ago as others have said  but I think it was the only time Amorim did it?

    2-0 vs Sunderland, 04/10
    1-2 vs Liverpool, 19/10
    4-2 vs Brighton, 25/10

I do think that lad should be charging his hair clippers now though...
Shows how good my memory is!

In that case let's make it four-on-the-trot against Spurs next week. Surely that can't have happened recently.

I think this will give a sense for how brave Carrick wants to be in terms of going for points. I do think there's a good case for putting Sesko in for this one as Fulham will sit in, they are happy to camp around their box and are extremely well drilled/structured. Having a telegraph pole up top will give them a lot of pause in dropping too deep.

The only change Carrick will make is Cunha for Dorgu. One game a week throws out the "players need a rest" cliche.

I think this game is made for Amad, we need him to breakdown a well drilled defence. Cunha for Dorgu thats it, bring on Sesko later on.
Yes, I agree. We have a definite change on the left, Cunha is the obvious choice, but Amad is a creator, and will be needed to break down a resolute defence, Sesko would be easier to contain from Fulham's point of view.
I don't think there will be many other changes, possibly Malacia for Shaw after an hour, if we are winning comfortably, or Mazraoui, with Dalot going to LB.

Cunha deserves a start now with Dorgu injured. If Fulham park the bus though, it may be a more suitable game for Sesko.

I’d be a bit brave here and go 4-1-4-1. Amad and Mbeumo out wide, Cunha and Bruno behind Sesko.

Amad hasn’t had a rest in a while.
He's only 23. With a full week between games, I'm sure he'll be fine.
We only have 4 games to play a month now and only 3 in April.
I’d personally swap out Amad for Sesko for this one, with Cunha in for Dorgu.

If Fulham are likely to sit back, Amad will be extremely important with his trickery and creativity.

Cunha is better with open space to run into.

Sesko could be a good option if we need a presence in the box to get on the end of something.

This works Mr. Tate. We have a decent bench options like Mount, Sesko, and even Ugarte has been better recently.

A tough test. Most of us expected a draw at best in our last 2 games but the Management and team have exceeded our expectations.
However we expect to win this and probably win it well.( Be honest)
I expect we will go with the same team apart from Cunha in for Dorgu.
    Keep it going lads.

I think Cunha will definitely start after his goal on Sunday, especially with Dorgu out.

Sesko due a start but Carrick might not want to change a winning team, so I'd predict Amad and Mbeumo upfront also.

2-1 I think. We will concede early doors, Batter Fulham, get two goals late on and then people will be convinced that Carrick should be given the permanent gig based off of: Convincing derby win, Turn-around away win, late comeback home win. "He's got the lot"

I want to see the elusive "No fuzz 3-0 vs. mid-table side at home" win.

You can't be serious surely? A lone midfield of Casemiro?

Fulham are very good on the counter especially through the midfield.

Wilson is in great form for them, he needs to be watched closely and we need to limit set pieces.

And we’re very good in attack this season. Cunha and Bruno also have decent work rate and will help in the middle.

A dominant performance and comfortable win here and we may just have turned a corner.

We finally get everyone back and then lose Dorgu for 10 weeks, typical. Should be fine for at least the next few without him as long as Shaw stays fit.

    Thinking 3-1 to United here.

Cunha and Sesko are too good imo to sit out 3 games in a row. So I say let Amad or Mbeumo have a rest for an hour.

You could say the same for 1 of Heaven/Yoro.

But equally I could see Carrick going with the same team with just 1 change for the injured Dorgu.

Attack Attack Attack.Play Amad at RB, Mbuemo in front of him and put Sesko in, Cunha on left... just kidding.

What has been vitally important in the last 2 games is we've had options of the bench in attack. With Dorgu out, we'll have only Sesko or maybe Amad to bring of the bench plus Mount. Hopefully we go at them early, get a goal or two and are not trying to win it at the end. Oh and another clean sheet would be fantastic.

Would like to see Mazzaroui start over Dalot.

One game per week, only 15 games left. No need to rest anyone.
Cunha for Dorgu and we're good to go.

I'd suspect Cunha for Dorgu will be the only change. Think Carrick is valuing having attacking options from the bench like Sesko or Mount (in this instance).

Is Bassey playing? He's an impressive specimen, bit rough around the edges but has great tools as a centre back. If we can play around him instead of through him, we should be able to dispatch them easily. Gotta be careful because they're decent at set-pieces and Iwobi, for some reason, has turned into a very decent PL player. Otherwise, show the same attitude as the past 2 games and play with some freedom and they're toast.

Yes, I agree. Keep a winning unit together as much as possible, although we will miss Dorgu with Wilson in good form for Fulham

Oscar Bobb should be in their squad by this game. They’re trying to get Pepi in too, but if they do, I doubt it will be in time for Sunday.
