We did well, and we were better than Fulham.
But this result highlights what I have felt, and that is that we should have bought in the window. We missed Dorgu, he brings a fluidity and natural left-sided balance. Cunha is frustrating, but has that X-Factor, and you cannot manage that! You just have to accept it.

We should not have been 2-2 in the first place. We stopped playing when they scored their first and could not keep the ball.
Before that it was a very controlled performance.
After they scored the second, we went for the goal and get rewarded.
But you can see we were a bag of nerves after their pen. It Will take some time to exorcise our démons Even if I was impressed by the amount of control and calmness Carrick bring to us already.Many negative posts on here like „bruno and mbeumo shit“ etc. when Bruno has two assists. Knew that it only needs three games and the negative ones are out again. Just be happy - played against a very good fulham and did well. With a bit of luck it would have been 3-0 and game over. We wont win every game playing top football. So happy for the ladsI'm similar situations over the last few years, we'd have lost this game. Just felt we didn't have the concentration and precision we do against the likes of City, Liverpool and Arsenal.
Passes just falling short, clearances that we dallied on and not looking for the passes to the front that we do when counter attacking against the above teams.
It's something we have been doing for years really.
Good thing is we didn't drop our heads and/or just swap defenders. Fine lines but Sesko attempted header and goal shows Car ick is always looking to attack and score. Even when players seemed to sit back at 2 -0 his message was go up.

It's been long enough that I can forgive people for forgetting, but picking up all 3 points in slogs where we don't look all too convincing is how we won most of our trophies during Fergie's era.
