Can someone remind me of what Mount's latest affliction is? I had lost track and assumed he was available.

Anyone else just buzzing for this? I can't remember looking forward to watching us play like this for a while

Unsurprisingly Cunha comes in. Personally with how I expect this game to go, Sesko should have come in as well at the expense or Mbeumo or Amad. I'm not convinced there's going to be space I'm behind in this game for Mbeumo to exploit. I'm guessing he is rewarding the players who have played well the last few weeks. I also would have Mazraoui over Dalot.

It will be a shame if Mount is injured again.
Its not just opposition tactics but also about setting a minimum standard. You can't be a starting CF at United with the kind of output we have gotten from Sesko till now. He needs to prove his mettle in training and through the substitute appearances.

This is part of the reason we have been crap. Lack of standards. We keep buying average or upcoming, or past it players and give them a starting position just because of the amount of money we have spent on them. This attitude has to go. No you don't get a free berth just because your prior club negotiated well.

Typical ott reaction from United fans on Sesko. The lad will have his moment. There's really no rush.

    Don't think we'll see 22 goals today.

We have had a week to rest and prepare. The feel good factor should hopefully continue today. I am predicting a 2+ goal margin victory today for us.

A week is a long time, sometimes when you start a winning run it's better to have the mid week games to keep momentum up.

Fulham won't make it easy, they have some good players.

I'll go 2-1, with 87 crosses and Leno having a Brad Friedel day.

Going to twat them. 1-0 Fernandes (p) 90+5'

Would've liked to have seen Sesko start but there's really no justification in starting him over the other 3

Im sure he'll get at least 20 mins maybe more depending on the score

I'm convinced today will be excellent
    4-0

I’m nervous to be honest. It’s getting to crunch time, and results against us this weekend

You think Sesko would damage our chances of winning?

What games should he be starting if not a home game we should be winning?
None actually. We have one game a week and he has better players ahead of him. Carrick is right. We should keep the momentum. If someone is underperforming then he can start. But right now he is no better the 3 attackers.

    More nervous

This is the type of game we have fecked up in for several years under several managers. We also now have to win based on results around us, so pressure is actually on

The City and Arsenal games were great bringing back the feel good factor but we always have it in us to perform well against the bigger teams. This game will be telling to see if the team keep the moment or revert to type.

We’ve pulled these results out before but I can’t remember the last time we had two on the bounce. We looked uncharacteristically confident and assured against both City and Arsenal. It could all change today, but it felt like more than the game-raising displays of the past where we’ve had big results.

I'd have dropped Amad who has looked in need of a rest for Sesko really. Carrick's not here long so he's probably not going to change things up a lot.

Heaven, Yoro, Maz, Sesko all likely to be victims of the change in manager unfortunately for them. No one cares about dropping young talent as long as we're winning.

I am really surprised at the réactions about Sesko here.
He has not been very good so far. I understand the argument that we Will have a lot of the ball and all, but that’s the theory.
I am happy Carrick seems to take into account reality and performances above anything else.
The standards have been so low for a long time. At United, to start you have to perform when you have the chance to do so. Cunha took his chance, Sesko didn’t so far.
Even more so when you have a game a week. Best performers should start. That has nothing to do with Carrick not liking Sesko or not. It’s fair.
Carrick makes sense in his decisions unlike Amorim or ETH. And that’s refreshing.
I still have traumas about starting fecking Wout Wergorst as a 10 and Bruno on the right. That was insane.

Sesko will get chances. I hope he has the same attitude of Cunha, a Brazilian international.

Head down, work hard, smash it when you come on.

No issues with Sesko not starting.

Please God we kick on from the last 2 games and not take steps back like we have done previously
When did we we won two games in the row previously ? Only once under Amorim if I am correct.
The guy have fecked our mind. Truth is, we should be confident going into this game after beating the two best teams in the league home and away.

Ive no issue with Sesko not starting on an individual level, but the fact we’re approaching this game (basically) unchanged does worry me very slightly that there isn’t some grand tactical game plan a foot to counter the big teams, with different ones saved for games where we’ll enjoy more possession. It does instead suggest that vibes are indeed the main factor in our upturn….

Insert ‘always were astronaught meme’ I guess

I get and echo the concern, but same players doesn't necessarily mean same game plan, to be fair

Selection gripe aside, I'm excited for this one. A comfortable win would be fanastic, I really want to see the same energy and workrate that we put in against Arsenal and City, I think that would be highly indicative of where Carrick could take the club.

Cunha for Dorgu is a pretty big difference no? Can be a 433 or a 4411 like before, hard to say but it's definitely more attacking.

People are seriously complaining about not changing a team that just beat City and Arsenal?
