Think we'll see some rotation, but we've gotta win this really to make up for the defeat in Istanbul.

    Could see something like this:

    Henderson
    Wan Bissaka Tuanzebe Maguire Telles
    McTominay Fred
    Van De Beek Fernandes
    Cavani Martial

Although I'd like to see Williams given a chance at right back to provide more attacking width.

I want to see Williams as well, this match is a perfect opportunity for him to get some game time, and rest Telles for the weekend.

And please don't start Bruno, we really need to manage him carefully.

    Imo:
    Henderson
    Wan Bissaka Tuanzebe Maguire Williams
    McTominay
    Van De Beek Pogba
    Greenwood Cavani James

This side should be enough I think.

I feel that we will destroy them. We are always meh after international breaks, we got that game out of the way with a win so that's good.

Hopefuly we return to form in this game and can kick on for the rest of the season.

We are not far in the league as well, people are raving about Jose but win our game in hand (which we should) and we are 4 points of first with one of our worst starts ever.

    Cavani

    Rashford--------vdB-----------James

    Fred-----McTominay

    Williams-----Maguire----Tuanzebe----AWB

    De Gea
2-0 win. I'd rest Bruno and Telles for Southampton. Bruno can always come on if needed. Martial need to be dropped for a game or two. Let's see what Cavani can do. I'd give James a start after his good performance for Wales last week. He might be more confident after that. We'll need a better performance from Tuanzebe this time if he does start. That was a shitshow in Istanbul a few weeks ago.

We get 5 Subs in these games, so I'm not sure they'll be a massive amount of changes.

Depends on who's back and fit also, as the only changes I can see are maybe Tuanzebe for Lindelof, McTominay or Donny for Matic, Greenwood for Mata etc.

    I'd like to see:

    de Gea
    Wan-Bissaka Tuanzebe Maguire Telles
    Fred
    van de Beek Bruno
    Greenwood Cavani Rashford

Hopefully subbing off Wan-Bissaka, Fred, Bruno, Rashford, Telles to wrap them up for the Southampton game if we can put another home win on the record.

Surprised at the line-ups here. Bruno will surely play. Not only because it's a must win, but I'm sure he's one of those players who's never happy to sit on the bench. I don't think Ole will take this game for granted and leave him out.
We have to rotate him, and Ole will make this point clear. We need a strong midfield of Bruno/Fred/Scott against Southampton to counter press quickly and create occasions. And for that, we need Bruno to rest.

    Not too sure about that
Why? We had 7 shots on target against WBA, and we only score a penalty, which means that the keeper did 6 or 7 saves. Even if we score 33% of them, it's already 3:0. More likely to be 4:0. We will be fine as long as we create occasions to shoot on target, as we did against WBA, and finish them off this time.

Unfortunately since we lost the first game, we absolutely need to play our (supposed) strongest XI here. Our players are absolutely tired and I don't see how we can rotate now since we still have two huge game against PSG and Leipzig after this one, and we are far away in the PL.

    My team :

    De Gea

    Wan Bissaka
    Maguire
    Lindelof
    Telles

    Mc Tominay
    Fred

    Mata
    Bruno
    Rashford

    Martial

Wouldn’t mind him playing Pogba on the wing again. A front three of:
    Greenwood-Cavani-Pogba

If we win this, and assuming PSG beat RBL, what would we need from our remaining fixtures to go through?

Would that be a case of not losing by more than 5 v RBL when we play them?

Think we will fly out of the block in this one.

We have to avenge the previous result, so I think the players will be really up for it and play right at the top of their game. 1-0 Fernandes (pen).

When is the last time United flew out of the blocks against anyone.

This shower are worse than WBA probably but we will make them look like prime Barca.

Pogba and Cavani need minutes, we need a strong lineup as well though thanks to losing the last game against them, I would go with:

    Henderson (needs outings)
    Williams Axel Maguire Telles
    Mctominay
    Bruno VDB
    Greenwood Cavani Pogba

When you try to forecast what will be the potential results, you see that we lost a huge game at Istanbul.

If we win and PSG beat Leipzig tomorrow, the table will be :

    United 9
    PSG 6
    Leipzig 6
    Istanbul 3

Then, we receive PSG, worst case scenario, we lose and Leipzig beating Istanbul, meaning :

    PSG 9
    United 9
    Leipzig 9
    Istanbul 3

With the last game to play at Leipzig, with PSG hosting Istanbul, meaning a point away will qualify us thanks to our goal difference (currently +5 and Leipzig -2)

    PSG 12
    United 10
    Leipzig 10
    Istanbul 3

I think there’s a draw in there somewhere for us.

10 points seals it but it’d be great to win the group

Cheers. Think if we win tonight and manage PSG with a draw we will be good to go. It's doable, PSG look like a team starting their campaign slow.

Don't know how he will line up probably be a max of 3 changes, but any team he puts out should be able to beat them easily, otherwise we are in the wrong competition. 3-0 I'll go for with the goals coming in the last 15 mins. Istanbul was a freak game and we won't ever defend like that again

    AWB - Tuanzebe - Maguire - Telles
    Fred
    VdB - Pogba
    Bruno
    Martial - Rashford

Subs: He's got five. Everyone gets to play.
It's supposed to be a 4-4-2 diamond, but it's really a 5-3-2. 2-0 for lead in the group, only need a draw after this to advance.

Luckily we are playing at home and 5 days until the next fixture so he doesnt need to take to much consideration of rotation.

At least we know exactly how Istanbul will play. No excuses this time. Will really have to question Ole if we let them beat us the same way.

Ole won't let them beat us the same way. He's much more creative than that. And our players are, too. There are SO many other ways we can lose.

Seriously, though, I don't expect us to lose this time. I don't even expect us to let Istanbul into it.

So assuming we win this game (obviously no guarantee after the last one), we'll need 1 draw from the last 2 games, regardless of the other result. Annoying that we put ourselves in this situation by losing to the worst team in the competition.

Bruno badly needs a rest so that means Ole will play him 100 percent.

    hence I’ll go with:

    ————————DDG
    AWB—Tuanzebe-Maguire-Telles
    —————Mctominay—Fred———
    —————————Bruno
    Greenwood——-Cavani——Pogba

Think we can rest and rotate in this one,

    .............Henderson
    AWB...Lindelof...Maguire....Telles
    .................Fred
    ........VdB......Pogba
    Mason....Cavani.....Martial

Bruno, Rashford, James to come of the bench if needed.

    Henderson
    Awb Lindelof Maguire Telles
    Pogba Fred
    Greenwood VDB Martial
    Cavani
I think we will dominate and beat them easily
