Hopefully that shows ten Hag that Fred isn’t worth offering a new deal. Replace with better. I struggle to see us winning many games without Casemiro mind and even with him I think we will get dicked by Barcelona soon - we just don’t finish our chances. Still a very almost team.

Last season we would have lost that game by more than 2, not on ten time.

    Unlucky to draw.

Some of you still don't get it. We are massively lucky at how shit our top 4 opponents have been.
Would be a totally different reaction if they werent. But hey making fun of them is great, right?
Come next season both the teams have a great season and were' stuck in the 7-8th position and people on here will be saying what's gone wrong?
But you'll tell them the truth.

So annoying how they give minimum 5 minutes injury time then Leeds can waste about 2 minutes of it and the ref still blows bang on 5 minutes

What the feck is wrong with you? How can someone who watches so much football, I assume you watch the clips you turn into gifs, and not see how a team is being coached better and is clearly progressing? We are in a stretch of 10 games in 30 fecking days and you are saying this team is as bad as Solskjaers? You are talking complete fecking keek mate...absolute keek. Stick to making gifs without actually working out whats going on ffs.

We had 41 points last season after 23rounds and were 5th. Now we have 43 progress amirite?
    45 points under Ole.
Again some of you are completely ignoring the Chelsea/Liverpool shit seasons.

Forget us challenging for the title, tonight highlighted our vulnerabilities when our best 11 aren’t available. We still have one or two mediocre players who should’ve be moved on. Fred needs to double down in training if he thinks he can just walk into the side from now on unless he can be sold in the summer.
Extremely pleased for Sancho getting the equaliser though.

Yeah this, reality is we have Martial, Antony, Casemiro, Eriksen all key figures for the first 11 all out and we don't have capable backups. Having played every couple of days as well. Ten Hag needs to find a way to grind out a win here. But there a lot of things against us.
Today the quality of players was enough, we just had no cohesion, especially defensively.

Do you seriously not see a VAST improvement in all aspects of our game?
All aspects? We are horrendous at scoring goals. Absolutely pathetic - 36scored / 28 conceded. Last season we had 37scored/30conceded after round 22 - one of the worst seasons . The season before that 46s/27c

If we had anyone on the field in Fred's position we 100% would have won..

That was frustrating!! Feels like a loss.

Only positive is Sancho on the scoresheet
Agree on Sancho but we’ve hit a block just as you knew we would with this squad depth, We simply don’t have the squad depth and the reality because we are fighting on all fronts, is that CL is not a foregone conclusion and we need to concentrate on that more than anything. We just don’t convert enough of our chances and Weghorst is simply a Dutch cart horse, this guy is never in a million years a United player. It’s time for ETH to reset his ranks and concentrate on Martial Rashford Sancho Antony Garnaucho Pellistri rotating the front 3 positions and Weghorst being used as an impact sub this guy is just not united pedigree and whoever buys the club will not be signing him.

For all of united fans me included, right now, it’s simple the squad has 13-14 decent players and needs 6-7 more.

We must get rid of Maguire, Jones, Telles, Bailey, Martial, Mctominay, DVB Weghorst (Loan ends), B Williams, D Henderson. I genuinely don’t know what we can get for that lot but hopefully £110- 135M with a fire sale. It’s not the money these players are simply not fit enough or good enough to play for our club. Any fan thinking we only needed 2 or 3 players to make a title challenge was living in cuckoo land, we welcome our new owners and sincerely hope who ever buys this great club gets straight to business and presents ETH with another £280m to go with the £120m we unload players for.

    Five PL points in twelve shows you we desperately need the following ;

    GK - D Costa £45M
    CB - J Gvardiol £65M
    DM - D Rice £75M
    AM - J Bellingham £120M
    CFW - Osimhen £100M

Yes this is exactly what is needed and maybe one more Top class Midfielder if we let Fred Go.

Don’t think ten Hag will need convincing. Fred pretty much blew his chances of being offered a new contract and will need to consider his options after tonight.

I think we'll struggle at theirs with the options we have/fatigue
    We’ll be ok if we pick the right side ;
De Gea AWB, Varane, Shaw, Malacia
L Martinez( CDM) Bruno, Sabitzer, Sancho, Rashford (9), A Ellanga (rW)
We need a pacey front 3 to play counter attack and although I’m really not sure about Ellanga he will work down the right and give the right side protection. Obviously if Antony fit he would play the issue is we have nothing from the bench and this shows you the lack of squad depth

There is a huge improvement apart from in scoring goals, we desperately need a number 9 and more reliable options in midfield and attack. It’s simple we need to be far more clinical at converting chances

Ridiculous statement. Weghorst is playing his role quite well. We play zero balls in the box for him to attack. His contribution to our play is ostensible.
Its not an attack on Wout as a player, its a comment on the contribution Wout has been able to provide, which was nearly nothing. I even made a post that the team had to share their part of the blame. The point was that if it doesnt work, change it.

His contribution, in my opinion, has been very good, considering our play and the fact that we don't put the ball in positions for him to attack. Almost every ball he gets is neatly distributed to the wings or layed off to the closest player to make a forward pass afterwards. He also created a great chance for Rashford today.

huh??? every season some teams have got to be in the top 4 and some not good enough to be in the top 4. your point is ridiculous. A shit season is a team being shit. this year Arsenal are better then all the teams below them, and so are we. You play whats in front of you. The past is the past. We are seeing a very competetive season across the board.

I made the mistake of overestimating our team. It won't happen again.
Yet again fail to give ourselves breathing space, this is something that has to be improved next season if we want to compete for league

Expected a loss against better opposition but not leeds.
Anyway, have to settle and hope we smash them at their home.
And win against Leicester as well. 7 out 9 without Case will have to do.
A win away on Sunday no matter how. And Foxes will be OK.

    Exactly: Arsenal+Newcastle = Liverpool+Chelsea last season.

We are running into some trouble now with injuries, but are on course for a top four finish.

Abit like Keane and Scholes, Case has the ability to make you grateful for putting you in a good position and then doing something silly to take that good position back a step

I have just watached a condensed version of the match and want to talk about Firpo's yellow card on Rashford. How is that not a red card?

If you can't see any improvement under EtH you should probably just give up on football altogether.

Seen the same words used when we had Mourinho and Ole.
One big loss vs Barca and it's gonna all fall down like a house of cards. We're already barely scoring goals and if the morale in the team drops we're fecked.
We should have had an easy top 4 run with the likes of Chelsea and Liverpool being absolute shambles now we're again gonna suffer till the last day.

Did you think Dalot had a great match?
He was rusty but overall was fine. Got an assist and set up the run for Bruno in the first half that got a free shot for Garnacho. It was far from his best match for us, but also far from his worst.
