Even though I want us to win both games, I honestly think it will be...

    Man Utd 0-1 Leicester
    Man Utd 3-3 Liverpool
I honestly don't think you'll live up to your name ;)

I'm so conflicted. All natural instincts are to always win but getting beaten really does make more sense.

I guess the perfect scenario is a draw tonight and to beat Liverpool?

The correct result tonight will only be good if we get the correct result on Thursday.
    Pretty much.

It would be classic United of the last few years to spawn a win tonight and then undo all the hard work with a flop of a performance on Thursday.

Two wins would be ace and getting to see City’s arse twitching would be even better.

I reckon the team will be:

    ---------------------------------Hendo---------------------------------
    AWB---------Bailly---------------------Lindelof---------Telles
    ----------------McTominay------------Matic----------------------
    -----------------------------------DVB------------------------------------
    ------Greenwood--------Cavani-------------------------Amad

Pretty strong lineup. Maybe AWB will have to rotate for Williams but I think Ole will still want to try and slit the strength of the squad across two games. I think Greenwood and Cavani to come off for Mata and Rashford around 60 mins and maybe AWB or Lindelof for Tuanzebe/Williams too.

If Cavani comes off after 60 he should be good for 30 mins as a sub vs Liverpool and I think Ole will push Greenwood to play 60 mins in them all.

Perfect scenario is us to win all remaining games, couldn't give two fecks about anything else.

Is there going to be another protest? Heard nothing.
    Not today, no.
If there's another protest then at the Liverpool game, why do they keep arranging it for that match?

If the protests are for Glazers out, not about the SL, why does it matter who the opponents are? Why've we been 'allowed' to play home games v Roma and, seemingly, Leicester without huge protests, but the Liverpool games are targeted (presuming there's one planned for Thursday as I've seen discussed)?

Start at the Villareal game and work backwards. Figure out who will need what minutes, to be as close to 100% for that as possible. Then start filling in the rest with squad and youth players.

No need to over think this game, just play the lads that are fresher and use the subs at half time.

All the talk about Liverpool you'd think they were a point of securing 4th spot, when they are 6 points off the Top 4, and could be 7th if teams around them pick up points.

It will be interesting to see who he puts next to Matic. If it’s VDB, maybe it’ll be Mata at 10? Or maybe he’ll give McFred 45 mins each.

    Leicester's starting XI:

    Schmeichel

    Albrighton
    Castagne
    Fofana
    Soyuncu
    Thomas

    Ndidi
    Tielemans
    Perez

    Vardy
    Iheanacho

No Ricardo, Evans or Maddison. Justin and Barnes long-term absentees.

Simple answer, because it's one of the biggest games in the world football calendar watched by millions upon millions of fans and neutrals alike.

Most posters want United to secure second place. I think Ole wants to win every remaining game just in case City drop points.

I think he'll play full strength team. Any changes will be experienced players eg Mata, Matic etc.

If Maguire is out, Ole probably wants Bailly and Lindelof for Liverpool. He can hardly let Lindelof play 3 games in such a short time, which would mean Bailly and Tuanzebe tonight, or?

Yeah there's quite a few rumours floating about that Maddison has had a big fall out with Brentan and he wants him gone in the summer.

I think Ole's comments about who ever played 90 mins won't feature is somewhat a bit of mind game playing,

I see something like this below

    De Gea
    AWB - Axel - Bailly - Telles
    Matic
    Mata - Donny
    Amad - Greenwood - Rashford

Just imagine the Toon hold out for a hard earned draw whilst Pep rotates and then think how pissed you'll be if we haven't gone for the win.

I look forward in advance to the meltdown when Ole names a ridiculously strong XI

If Ole is going to go with a "weakened" team tonight, I'd like to see four or five youngsters get a start: to me that's better than giving the likes of Mata and Matic what might be their last games for United. The more youngsters who start together, the more it will feel more like a usual game for them; usual team mates, usual tactics. It will also, of course, show us where these gays are right now.

    Not holding my breath, however...

Do you realise they have a FA Cup final on Saturday?

I don't think Brendan will risk his first 11 for this match either -- Moyesy did him a massive favour by losing last weekend and is still 5 points ahead of the Hammers.

Looking forward to see how some of the other lads perform. Big chance for a few of them.

Even Ole won't go full strength with this fixture pile up.

0 chance of that imo, some of them will have played games Thurs - Sun - Tues. That's just asking for injuries if any of the Sunday 90 minuters play

Not at all. City need 2 points from 3 games (If we win all our games). Even if they draw against Newcastle then would still only need one more draw for the title with Brighton next.

No way does he go for a fully rotated team, Ole always opts to have at least two or three of our key players on the pitch at a time.

    De Gea

    Telles
    Lindelof
    Bailly
    Williams

    Matic
    Fred
    Bruno

James (Mata if he's still not 100%)
    Rashford
    Greenwood

I think people who are saying we should “go for it” are missing the point.

We literally can’t, it’s too much to ask for the players. We have to rotate and hope they do the business.

I'd rather be as close to them as possible - we obviously aren't going to win it but we might as well put some pressure on them.
