    We should win this without too much trouble.

    A nice, somewhat alien feeling going into this fixture.
     
    It's nice feeling that we can win this but it will be difficult as all games are in the PL.
     
    I've never felt certain of victory against Liverpool. Not even with Fergies very best teams. It's always a tough match.

    It's a defence mechanism so you don't feel even worse if we do lose.

    Reckon we could destroy them if we’re up for it and start off strong. They’re pretty weak, we’ll be high on confidence and we’ve been good in these sorts of games.

    A draw would be fine in context, we should be beating them though.
     
    We really should beat them, they've been shit this season but I think it will be a draw. That said, there is no difference between finishing second or fifth in this league now so I don't really care because CL is pretty much secured.

    Agree with you Cathy and they also have to take care of the teams following them too.
     
    I'm afraid I have PTSD from the numerous batterings these cnuts have given us over the past decade, especially in OT, so not sure if I'll ever be able to confidently predict a victory against them without a sustained run of prior wins and some psychological therapy.

    Has a 1-1 feel to it.
     
    We should hammer them. They’ve given us a spanking a few times over the last few years, we should be looking to get one back today.
     
    Salah out is a blessing in disguise for them. His legs have gone. At this stage, Frimpong is a much more dangerous player on the right.

    Feel nervous today. Nervous tension. In a way I haven’t felt about a United match for a while.

    Feels the 1st time in a long time we go into this fixture not having to win, so hope that translates to us hammering them
     
    Was looking around to see if YNFA is still around (they used to post Jimmy Liddel commentary) and they are, they dont post frequently anymore though
     
    If they will try and push us back we might get the space we need to counter attack. But not sure how confident Slot is at the moment.
    Both teams safe inside top 5, well almost, so maybe not the usual tension. Could benefit us, i hope, just go out and enjoy a big game.

    Any win will do against that lot. A draw secures Champions league football. A lot of talk about Liverpools injuries however it's worth remembering United lost to neighbours Everton who had ten men for the majority of the game in Old Trafford so can't take any game for granted.
     
    Surprised so many are confident. I don’t think we will get battered like in years gone by, but it’s going to be a tough game regardless of form.
