Does anyone else get just a little bit annoyed when a pundit says they're glad that a player wasn't sent off as "it would've ruined the match" if he'd have been sent off?
If the player deserved the red, then yes. Vice versa. In Kompany's case stud's were up and it should have definitely been a red card. Neville is bonkers.

I said before the game I wanted him to play because he had red card all over him and got called mad
But you could see it coming. He should have got a red for that and would have got a second yellow if he'd stayed on. His game is deteriorating and he's over compensating as a result. There's been a pretty strong whiff of desperation about him for a while now like he knows he and his team are fading at an alarming rate. I'm delighted because unlike some I cannot stand the balloon headed cnut and think he's not half as good as he thinks he is or his team is.
