With Oles luck we'll probably win this through a Kevin De bruyne own goal after Ederson is sent off and Gundogan pulls his hamstring.

Watford though that will be a real test.

We’ll spend much of the game behind and Ronaldo will pull the late savior act again.

Brace yourselves for another hiding. As soon as we lost Varane we went to shite, I can see City cutting through us at will, this could get very ugly.

Having a blackout on the day as I have a function when the match is on. Hopefully I can avoid all media and notifications and watch it few hours later.
That said, may be a blessings to not watch the pain live.

Varane missing is a huge huge blow. We had a chance of scraping a draw or at least not losing as bad as we did against Liverpool, but now, I fear it will be just as bad if not worse.

Worried about who's available in defence for this one, going to take a lot of concentration. Can't see us being able to go 3 at the back either with the injuries, and I think that would have been a decent shout.

Theyll probably hammer us and it'll be good riddance to Ole. So not all bad. Win win I guess. Either we win and you have temporary joy from winning a manchester derby or we lose and you expect Ole gets sacked.

Of course Maguire will enter the pitch riding on a camel followed by 30 handservants on Saturday. I would rather play Jones any day of the week. £80m ffs!

Man City and Pep especially will really be looking forward to this Derby against such a error prone group of United players who will likely be without its best defender in Varane.

Will be shock result if City don't win by at least a two goal margin.

City moving the ball slowly and having no striker could really save us on Saturday

If we play like tonight it’ll be 2-5

We need to stop playing players who won’t press. We aren’t making enough grounder penetrating at all just recycling the ball across across across and backwards

We won’t play like tonight though. We will give them the ball and counter with Rashford and Ronaldo up and be direct as feck.

Not too sure if I want to watch this game :nervous:

Changes needed for this, drop Maguire if one of Lindelof/Varane is available.

After Pogba's performance, thank god hes not available, play VDB instead.

Would be nice to see Sancho finally start a game ahead of Rashford if we don't play 5-3-2

What? Sancho had three month to make his claim with Rashford being injrued but failed to have a single goal contribution. Rashford has had 5 appearances so far and already scored three goals.

Rashford was bad today I agree though.

Can't disagree, Rashford has played well, but If he plays like he did tonight, then he can jog on.

I agree he doesn't deserve to start this game after todays performance. There was just too little determination from him.

With Lindelof and Varane injured we won't be playing 3 at the back unless Ole decides to resurrect Phil Jones.
If we play the same way we did tonight they will punish us as bad as Liverpool.

Yep this should be what he goes for, we're clearly now incapable of playing a back 4 so fill it with as many players as we can and hope they don't find any spaces

Think it's time Pep beats Ole in PL after a long time. Just hope it's not a humiliation as big as Liverpool. 3-0 City would be enough for Ole to get the sack. Though he won't as they don't have replacement for him

Team picks itself as someone already said, hopefully 5 at the back and 2 defensive midfielders make us harder to break.

Well looking at the stats the last time we kept a clean sheet at home in the league was in March. The last time we kept a clean sheet at home in all competitions was against Granada 2 weeks later in April.

Not expecting a clean sheet then I guess.

Another interesting stat is the last time we went 2-0 up in a game (prior to Spurs) is that 7 March game against City.

If Ole is going with a back 5 which I suspect he will, its not too much to ask him to play VDB in place of McTominay is it?

    Oh who am I kidding.

All the talk is of Ole getting sacked but Pep should get the boot if City fail to win this game. I'm guessing Lindelof not travelling was a precaution and I'm sure McFred will be restored. Cavani and Ronaldo in tandem is a must.

The only way that it's not Fred and McTominay on Saturday is if one of them gets injured.

Yeah the team literally picks itself although gutted about Varane’s injury.
