No midfielders and we have to win this game. How dare he play De Gea/Martial, why isn't Bruno being rested etc etc
Every player has a good game or two when the conditions are right. Dont rate him in the slightest though and Mason should be starting over him. He's been good recently.
I'm not usually one of these people but there's a few in there who have been bang average like Matic, Martial and James.Oh shut up!
Just replying to this absolute clowncart of a comment so I can quote it later and remind you that you actually said this. It’s won’t be interesting at all, it predictably won’t work & Ole won’t change it til the 75th minute.
I swear to god this guy is a mastermind because he’s been able to con half the fan base into thinking he actually knows what he’s doing. He’s so obviously just winging it & hoping for the best every game.
He’s useful when he has space to run into. Newcastle are probably the most tactically negative team in the league. He's been good recently.
He needs to hit some for tonight otherwise I think his position will be up for grabs, especially if any of James, Greenwood and Diallo hit form on RW.Picking Martial is just telling him that zero effort is acceptable. He’s in zero danger of losing his place.
Ignore them then.Game haven't even started and haters are out and throwing insults already.
Before, after, during. Always the same from same posters.
Give James this and then Start Amad on Thursday.Don't really get what we gain from starting James here. The Sociedad game on Thursday should've been the one for him
Agreed. Martial, Lindelof, De Gea and James hardly warrant starts here. James had a decent game in the Europa but come on. Utterly ridiculous management to continue to start players that have been the root cause of us dropping points over thre past three PL games. Not sure I get this line-up. We can rest everyone against Sociedad, so why not go with the strongest team?
That's what people said last week. Ole plays favourites to our detriment. He needs to hit some for tonight otherwise I think his position will be up for grabs, especially if any of James, Greenwood and Diallo hit form on RW.
Yeah, the same with De Gea. Ole clearly isnt going to drop them whatever they doPicking Martial is just telling him that zero effort is acceptable. He’s in zero danger of losing his place.
It’s only really Greenwood missing for our strongest team. Bailly as well but with his injury issues I wouldn’t be playing him back to back either. Not sure I get this line-up. We can rest everyone against Sociedad, so why not go with the strongest team?
It seems like that for me.I knew Ole would pick James because he played well in the last game. Feck tactics. Feck how Newcastle play nothing like Sociedad.
It worked! Copy and paste.
Enter.
Greenwood should've started here. Newcastle is a great chance to get the goals flowing for him.Give James this and then Start Amad on Thursday.
My thoughts exactly. I don't get why Bailly's not playing. We have a season and a half worth of evidence showing that James is useless against a low block so we go ahead and play him. We JUST watched Lindelof get toyed with by West Brom yet we're going to go ahead and play him against another physical team.
Another sloppy, scraped win incoming
Me too. Martial is horrific at the moment, and it's like playing with 10 men.I'm glad James is playing. I know Newcastle are going to play deep, but the guy works his arse off and could force them into a mistake. I would start him over Martial, to be honest.
Oh myHe’s completely winging it as a manager. Fans know more than him.
