Holy crap, I come home to see Mata has made two assists and we are winning despite Matic and him starting?

Fred and Matic aren't a bad midfield pair. Have we ever really tried them before?

Slightly different in that leaving a leg in is not the same as initiating the contact by falling into a player. You tend to get penalties for that, I don't actually agree with that though and I have a dislike of the way penalties are so easily awarded for just getting a toe to a ball when players have zero intention/chance to control it.
Burnley player was sliding towards him and his momentum would've taken him through regardless of if Willian left his leg or not. Should Willian have had to plant his legs and wait for the full body weight of the defender to go through his legs and snap his ankle? Or should Willian to his detriment have to go out of his way to not be fouled by a defender making a stupid tackle?

Stupid tackle, clear penalty and definitely not clear enough to be overturned by VAR in any way. The penalty that Walcott was denied today was a perfect example of why you have to play for the penalty following a stupid challenge. The refs are shit so you have to highlight when you're impeded. I mean, what did Martial gain from playing on when he was fouled inside the box twice today?

Obviously he should score but the desire is more important for me. That’s so so good from the lad. With him in the team we will score way more often
That’s it. I didn’t flinch at the miss because he put himself there. It’s all part of the process.

Brandon seemed to look a bit leggy and got the timing bit off. He ran from the half way line to meet it.

Overall he's been very good again

Or Guardiola at Barcelona some years before Klopp and counter-pressing even became a thing. Barça throughout Guardiola's reign played with the single best high line, high-pressure, counter-press in the game, and did so with Pedro, Villa, Xavi, Iniesta, none of which are exceedingly fast. It was all about the organisation, cohesion, understanding, and the intelligence on the ball when they did win it back.
True, the trend started with Guardiola's system at Barca. Klopp gave it a different flavor where his teams would press and then attack at speed. But even then you need the vision and creativity to spot a chance and the technical ability to play the final ball.

If it was as simple as just buying young, motivated, and fast players to build a team then every Tom, Dick, and Harry would have done it multiple times by now.

I'm doubting people's commitment to Sparkle Motion
I never understand why managers take off players who have already scored 2 goals, unless they have an injury. Keep them on! In this game where it's likely Rashford could get another, there's no real reason to take him off right now. Rubbish call, in my opinion.
He's tired, has been for a while, played lots of games, and is probably quite high on the injury probability scale. Also ogs is I think wanting him as fresh as possible for Liverpoo

Fred needs to be rested. He's had a bad game all along (including how he lost the ball 1-1 that almost resulted in Norwich goal, if not Dave's cat skills). He's clearly played too many games and is burnt out. Why is Ole delaying subbing him

Imagine the meltdown if Rashford gets injured
I know, can’t believe people are more concerned with us getting a hattrick on the books than resting someone who’s featured virtually every game this season, especially as we have an injury ravaged squad to begin with.

Because we are 3 goals up, Rashford is our most important player, and has played almost every minute lately. Risking injuries or fatigue for our most important player, to chase a possible hat trick in a game we have already won? That would be very bad management.
