I dont think Rooney will miss the next game.Di Maria might have to sit it out.If we play like we did today,I dont think we will miss him too much.More mata and Hererra please!

Going to have to start fielding the U-14s by January at this rate.

Herrera needs to start. I don't think Mata will start though.

Going for a nervy 2-1 win.

Edit: Just realised it was a home game, 3-1 for us then!

Liverpool could barely beat these guys, and I think it's fair to say we're hitting some good form.
Solid 2-0 victory to us, hopefully our injury count remains low. Only Di Maria will miss it, the rest of today's squad will be fine I hope!

Not sure if RvP will start twice in a week, don't want to risk any more injuries. More or less the same as we put out today for most of the game, only Falcao in for RvP though I could easily see Van Persie start.

Going for another comfortable victory, 4-0. Falcao x2, Rooney and Mata to score. Rafael to get subbed on as well as his comeback from injury.

Definitely similar formation as today please, I don't think Di Maria will be fit so same team with Herrera would be lovely, if Rooney is still not fit Falcao and RvP up front, we should destroy this lot too

I imagine we'll field the same side that we had once Herrera came on for Di Maria. Our passing and possession was so good Van Gaal isn't going to want to mess with it. Van Persie will start but Falcao will get another 20-30 minutes.

Shouldn't Rafael be back? He was supposed to be a 'maybe' for the Arsenal game last weekend.

    Magical Manchester United.
    De Gea
    Valencia - Smalling - Rojo - Young
    Carrick
    Fellaini - Herrera
    Mata
    Rooney - RVP

We could also push Rojo out wide and have McNair in the middle, but Young has done well so will keep his place deservedly.
Stoke will give us more headaches than Hull, but then it's hard to be worse than the Tigers were today. Think we will win this as well, but it will be close... going for a 3-1 win, with the third of our goal coming towards the end of the game. Hope we can continue our good form, win this and we're on 6W2D from our last nine league games, with the only loss coming at the Etihad.

Both Sidwell and Whelan got off injured for Stoke - so their alternatives in central midfield are limited

When was the last time we won four league matches in a row?

I think we will win 2-1, taking a 2-0 lead before conceding a late goal and surviving a nervy end.

Anyone know if Moses will make the game? On his day he can be trouble.

That's what I'd like to see. Despite RVP's goal and slightly improved performance I think Falcao deserves a shot, especially since the next games only 3 days away.

Herrera had his best game for us today IMO. I reckon that slightly more offensive role alongside a box-to-box and a DM is his best position. In the same formation when he played the box-to-box role (with Di Maria slightly more offensive) the midfield was pretty porous,. We played some great football with Blind, Herrera, Di Maria but Carrick/Blind, Fellaini, Herrera is way more balanced for me.

Same side bar Herrera for Di Maria.

If Rooney is a doubt then Falcao in his place. I hope Rooney does not try and play with a knock. We have players that can fit in now.

Falcao won't start yet he will slowly be eased in week by week with more minutes each game.

Yet more evidence that the diamond is far and away the best formation for us today. Everyone in their proper place, and all our best (available) players on the pitch.

With Di Maria out Herrera fits in without a problem. Falcao doesn't yet look quite fit enough to start, so I can't see anything other than the same team that played the bulk of today's match.

It would be nice to get some youngsters on the bench though - after a flawless performance in the U21 battering of Blackburn, I can't help feeling it would have been worth giving Pearson a little go instead of Fletcher getting his increasingly routine (and entirely pointless) 15 minute run-out.

If not him, it would be beautiful to have Wilson, Januzaj and Pereira all on the bench.
