Big day for Lammens. Mount had done quite well before injury and Cunha can still do something off the bench to show he should be starting. Make no mistake I'd be starting Cunha but I think he can still prove his point and replace Mount moving forward

It did take me a minute to get o wrap my head around the team. I agree that the lineup makes more sense as a 433 but it's obviously going to be the usual formation with Dalot at LWB, Amad RWB and Mount as a 10.

Not sure why Cunha is on the bench unless he's still feeling some effects of that injury.

The exciting news obviously is Lammens getting a debut so it will be interesting to see how he gets on.

This could be any sore though.

Regardless of the numpty manager, please show up today. Come on United!

Dalot was very good at LWB v Burnley. Something to be positive

Really glad we spent most of our budget on two number 10s just for him to drop one of them 6 games into the season.

    The overreactions are always fun!

Amorim loves a sub, so it's always gonna be 15 players used by the final whistle. Cunha will come on in the second half. United need to be a little careful with him as he is just coming back from injury, a half each for Mount and Cunha seems sensible.

Being a new signing doesn't mean you start every game and Luke Shaw is not really relevant to this, unless you want Mount or Cunha at LCB.
Nobody is forcing him to play Luke Shaw at LCB. He's cost us games this season yet continues to start, but I'm supposed to be impressed by Cunha ending up on the bench for a player who's being here for two years and hasn't done anything good. It's nonsense after nonsense.

Manchester United are unbeaten in their last 24 PL games against newly promoted sides.

Only 3 United players have made assists in the PL this season, and they are alle defenders: Dorgu, Dalot and Maguire. We need more from players like Amad, Mbeumo, Cunha and Bruno.
Ability is there, especially Cunha. Team's chemistry is probably what bugging the most.

My 5 at the back shall always play.
My CBs shall always be substituted...for other CBs.
    My Shaw shall always start.
    My Mainoo shall never start.

    Lammens

Dalot - De Ligt - Yoro - Shaw

    Mount - Casemiro - Bruno

    Mbeumo - Sesko - Amad

    Would be nice to see.

But it's not, it's Dalot at left wing back and Amad at right wing back.
Funny thing is, this is the exact midfield that was torn apart at the start of Ten Hags second season...

    Just saying things.

Shaw's problem isn't position. He's been quality at LCB for other managers. His problem is never getting back to form with injuries

Kind off understand Cunhas benching, despite really, really not liking Mount, Cunha hasn't been the best. Shaw however.... rather have Heaven there or even Lisandro on one leg.

I think we need to check Shaw and Dalot's contracts.

There must be something in there that says they must play a high percentage of games ( when fit ) and get their current manager sacked, extra bonus for each manager they out last.

This is the start of a new dawn. Everything's going to click, the system's coming good, and Sunderland won't know what hit them.

Why not then swap Mount and Bruno? Happy to see Yoro back and Lammens debut
Because Amorim is stubborn and will keep playing Bruno is that position, and he is not going to change that once he has made his mind up.

Based on gut feelings, we’re winning this one! Let’s go United! We need to get back on track regardless of who’s in charge.

With two opposite footed wing backs I think we’ll see Mbeumo play closer to Sesko and Mount as more of an attacking mid than a free roaming advanced playmaker. In other words more of a 3412. I think we’ll see Yoro and Shaw getting forward a bit as well. We have to be more patient with the ball so it doesn’t turn into an end to end match. We have to start wearing down opponents with our possession or we’ll keep getting overwhelmed on counter attacks.

My 5 at the back shall always play.
My CBs shall always be substituted...for other CBs.
    My Shaw shall always start.
    My Mainoo shall never start.
My eyes shall never see penalties
My head shall always be in in my hands
