The thing here is if we lose, he's gone, so it's a win-win. Unless it's a draw.

After a game winning goal.Looks like Amorim

Why - but why!Why do you think he would be gone if we lose? The thing here is if we lose, he's gone, so it's a win-win. Unless it's a draw.

There’s close to no chance he is gone. All things considering, it’s pretty quiet around his potential sacking and it’s mainly the lower level guys reporting anything. The thing here is if we lose, he's gone, so it's a win-win. Unless it's a draw.
You mean one of the slowest players in our squad with questionable application. Had a long summer to up his intensity and showed it nowhere. Even the last game he's lost the ball before we conceded for the third time. If he's called Fred he's absolutely crucified.Wonder if he's got the balls to play Mainoo. Doubt it.
Almost certainly guaranteed. I’ve lost count of the times we concede first.Ya if we concede first we’re gone
I'd love to see Mainoo and Ugarte compared for speed. But I'm referring to one of our best ball carriers and most technical players who should be given a chance to help kick-start proactive play but isn't because our manager is too cowardly to start him.You mean one of the slowest players in our squad with questionable application. I bet we win this comfortably 3:0 and go on a run of wins.

And 3 pts from bottom 3.We’re only 4 points off the top 4.
Still time to turn this around……….yeh right!
We can only hope.

Nothing suggests this does it?Unfortunately, all credible sources/news sites suggest Amorim will stay for the entire season, regardless of how it's going. I assume things change if we get into relegation territory but for now we're stuck with Amorim. So I'll be rooting for him as another piss poor season and no European football will devastate us more even if we do get a new manager in the summer.
2 at the back is very Zeman like, i like it, just go for it!If he had any brains, Amorim would sacrifice a CB for additional legs in midfield and save his job.
Can’t see him doing that though. He's fecking married to his formation.
Going for a 2-1 win only because I'm old enough to remember United being expected to beat newly promoted teams at home, so it might just be muscle memory on my part.
Wouldn't surprise me in the least though if the result was the other way round. In which case, brace yourself for a relegation battle if Amorim stays on as manager.
Team line up? F**k knows. Half the team deserve to be dropped after Brentford but Ruben has his favourites so it might very well be the exact same line up.
Probably win this, then lose next, rinse and repeat. Casemiro will play a nice pass at one point, cue he's back and must start every game, because the 60 or so mins he can actually last for, he's class. Next game he's crap, he's too old and shouldn't start again for us. Rinse and repeat.
I think if Amorim really has a chance of turning things around (unlikely, but you never know), then he not only needs to win here but he needs to win convincingly.
At least 3 goals, good all round team performance and a show of effort and dedication from the players that they are fighting for him on the pitch.
A scrappy win isn’t going to cut it for me.
No matter what the club says, and irrelevant of what happens on Saturday I still think November is the key month, that's if he hasn't jacked it in already by resigning (Something I am sure he made clear about when he took the job that if he felt it wasn't working he would walk away).Aye, just prolonging in inevitable at this stage.
