The team I’d love to see below. No Shaw, No, Maguire, No Dalot, No Bruno. We all know he is not going to change formation he has a fetish for. Needs to try something new.

    .....................Sesko............................
    .................................................................
    ..........Cunha..................Mbuembo...........
    .................................................................
    Dorgu.............................................Amad
    ..............Casemiro......Mainoo...................
    ..................................................................
    ...........Heaven.......de Ligt.....Yoro...............
    ..................................................................
    ...........................Altay...............................
I like it, but with Lammens debuting for this.

Probably win this, then lose next, rinse and repeat. Casemiro will play a nice pass at one point, cue he's back and must start every game, because the 60 or so mins he can actually last for, he's class. Next game he's crap, he's too old and shouldn't start again for us. Rinse and repeat.

Heck if we can win 50% of our games we're doing well. That's 5th or 6th place most seasons.

Yeah, 19 wins would be a 73% increase from last season. I'd take it, considering how things are currently looking.

it's basically what we've done so far this season and we're 14th. L-D-W-L-W-L. we've conceded 11 goals, outside the bottom 3 that's the worst in the league. We need to start winning games consecutively, our away form needs to improve.

Last Man United team that played against Sunderland in the Premier league.

    Romero,Darmian, Bailly, Rojo, Shaw
    Fellaini,Pogba, Mkhitaryan,Herrera, Lingard, Ibrahimovic.

And subs brought on Martial, Blind, Rashford

There isn't a single team over the last 10 seasons that has finished below 6th whilst picking up 19 wins. We need wins it doesn't matter if they're consecutive or not.

2 out of 6 isn’t 50% though is it. 33% win rate is more akin to a sort of 11th place finish if you draw more than you lose, or probably closer to 16th if we carry on losing more than we draw. Last season we had a 28% win rate yet a 47% loss rate.

We obviously need to score and win more, but feck me are we easy to beat. If we win 50% of our games and draw more than we lose then we could get 5th - but that’s not looking likely.

I just have a feeling he might screw our predictions this week, with a change of shape. I’m not sure he wants to play Maguire, after last week, or Heaven. Maz and Licha are obviously out. Gives him an excuse to play a back 4 with Yoro & De Ligt as CB’s whilst letting him say it is not a change of philosophy, but it has been forced upon me by circumstances. A very optimistic view, I know, but I do think he has to change at some point.

If you're right George and you've willed this into being, I will find you and I will kiss you.

Pack the midfield with all the physicality we got. Play Casimero, Cunha and Ugarte. Let Bruno roam on the offensive part of the pitch and for the love of god, play four at the back.

    We have all the pieces!

Utd score first we win , the longer its 0-0 the stronger they will get and weaker utd will get .

Let's see if this lot got some guts to win this

You obviously don’t listen or watch his interviews. He’s mentioned numerous of times that he will never change… not until there use to his system anyway.

Amorim's record to date is 34 points from 33 PL games, that's relegation form. With this team in its current format, seeking 19 wins is ambitious. We just lost 3-1 to a team on same points as us. We were brushed aside by a City team that's not in great form itself. I think your wrong about consecutive wins not being important. We can't build any momentum if our form isn't consistent, especially our away form. We can't fall into the routine of our home form will save us, we've already lost to Arsenal at home and will drop more along the way. We've a chance now to maybe try and build some form. Beat Sunderland, play a Liverpool team that's maybe on the ropes a bit , who themselves have a tough away game v Chelsea, then we've Brighton at home. Hopefully we start to pick up the points........Time to sink or swim.

    easiest prediction ever

    Bayindir
    De Ligt Maguire Shaw
    Amad Casemiro Bruno Dorgu
    Mbeumo Sesko Cunha
Depends, are Amad and Maz back available? Will Lammens finally start in goal? Will he start with Mount as he obviously likes him? Is Yoro allowed back in the team yet?

Me and my son are travelling up for this one… weather looks dire. Hopefully no risk to the match being played. Anyone hear anything?

It will only be a bit of rain. Just a rainy afternoon at OT

I do and he will. He has to
Has to… but won’t do. Come on man, we come across stubborn managers all the time. They won’t change there ways for anyone. Only one that can make them is the board but they don’t have the bottle to do it.

We're all perfectly used to the system Ruben, it really is amazingly effective! It's almost unfair actually, just how transformative it has been. Not only on the teams' football, but also the fanbases collective mental health.

Can we try a different one now please?

Amad is back, Mazroui isn't, won't start Lammens or Mount, for some reason he stopped starting Yoro after the City game.

Literally in his last interview with Hargreaves he says he will change and doesn't play one system

I might not even watch this one, it's not going to have any bearing on anything. We win, it's a temporary stay of execution; we lose, and it's just another ignominious defeat in a long list of them, just another day at the office for Amorim. Ratcliffe saying Amorim's job is not on the line, so there's no real pressure for Amorim to deliver a decisive victory, just more of his 4-d wolf chess football tactics.

I doubt we have a clean victory. Sunderland has a good chance of giving us yet another lesson, and in the process, will we have enough moments of exciting play to justify the pain? We'll start brightly, maybe even get a good chance on goal in the first 5 minutes before everyone gets light headed from being so close to the opposition goal, we forget where we're supposed to be standing in Amorim's modern dance choreography, and Sunderland sweep our mighty 2-man midfield aside and stick it in the fecking net.

Good first 10 mins but fail to score
    Sunderland grow into the game
Sunderland score from first corner around 30 mins
    Half time
They sit back whilst playing in the break we have all the possession but create very little
Out of nowhere we equalize around 75 - maybe an own goal
Game peters out or Sunderland shit the bed and concede a penalty that we may or may not score

1-1 and that's not even the bad scenario

A very good opportunity for us to get some points and ease up the relegation battle

Amad is back, Mazroui isn't, won't start Lammens or Mount, for some reason he stopped starting Yoro after the City game.

Yoro had a poor game against City and Bruno threw him under the bus in his post match interview, blaming him for the first goal (when it was him that didn't track Foden). He hasn't started since.

I'm not against dropping players after poor performances but he only seems to do it to the younger players. Several more experienced players have dropped a few stinkers this year and keep getting picked.

Yoro has been pretty poor so far, not sure why he'd get the nod tbh.

    Another relegation 6 pointer!
Amorim has the opportunity to make a statement and change things around. He has nothing to lose as he’s a goner unless he wins games.
    Change the GK
Play 2 CM and not Bruno in there.
    Drop Shaw and Maguire.
433 would be a good start but he can change the starters in his system and we could win.

Might be eventually, but for now they are 5th. If we were 5th Amorim would have gotten an extension.

We will win this by hook or crook to extend Amo's stay (miserable so far) with us.

    Blunder
    de Ligt 'Arry Shaw
    Dalot Casemiro Bruno Dorgu
    Mbeumo Cunha
    Sesko

I think we'll win this. Sunderland have got off to a fantastic start but they've had an exceptionally kind start to the season. Palace are the only top half team they've played so far (and that's not changing tomorrow  ). In fact they won't play another top half team until the end of October.

They haven't been properly tested and I think at home we'll edge them out in a predictably cagey and underwhelming affair. 2-0 lead, they peg us back to 2-1 and then we're hanging on for dear life for the last 15 minutes.

    Blunder

Him starting would be terrible management. Everyone knows he's not good enough, throw in your new promising young keeper against Sunderland at home. Perfect opportunity.

I just can’t see how we win this except Sunderland go down to 10-men
He will not change anything so we are stuck in a rot until he goes.
    Clown of a manager.

    please let it be 433

    ---------------- Lammens--------------------------
    Dorgu - Yoro - DeLigt - Mazrarouri/Dalot
    -------Mainoo - Bruno - Casemiro------------
    -------Mbuemo - Sesko - Cunha------------

It wont be though.. almost certainly

    -------------------Bayindir---------------------
    -------Maguire - DeLigt - Shaw---------
    Dalot-------Bruno - Ugarte------Dorgu
    -----Mbuemo---------------Cunha---------
    ---------------------Sesko-----------------------

Would be final nail in his coffin with Bruno in a 2man CM again (Dalot starting anywhere doesnt help), and if we dont win and win convincingly

There's being negative and then there's being that. You'd have to hope the players will play for pride if nothing else.

I have zero faith in this manager and think he is ruining good players with his daft "system".

0-2 at Old Trafford against Sunderland and he's gone. Surely. That's why I don't think it'll happen.

Please just play the new goalkeeper.

If he’s worse than Bayindir, the people above Amorim need sacking.
