A scrape for the win seems most likely, though there is a chance we might score a second goal. There's not much to be confident about though.

No. Just stating that our form has been significantly better at OT. Pretty important when discussing rather Sunderland can come and get 3 points.
The original comment implied Sunderland would be intimated by OT. The reality is they won’t be.

We even have pundits predicting a Sunderland win - a newly promoted club at OT.

Would be nice to just keep a clean sheet to be honest.

I’d like to fit Mount in but we need this front 3 to get minutes together. I’d personally choose Heavens over Shaw but Amorim won’t do that. He’ll pick Cas and Bruno in CM and the should be able to cope but we’ll see.

    Lammens
    Yoro DeLigt Shaw
    Amad Casemiro Bruno Dorgu
    Mbeumo Cunha
    Sesko

Can't blame pundits for that one. League table after 6 games doesn't lie and even a newly promoted club are producing better results

Its a distance memory at the moment but when teams are intimated by Old Trafford again we'll know United will be back.

The management and players will be confident tomorrow in the Sunderland camp. They've seen how we have performed this season and won't be playing cautious knowing fine well we can easily concede from mistakes.

What scares me the most is that we are no longer terrifying as a club and that in fact we are laughed at. It's getting to the point it's embarrassing for a team not to get a result against us.

We're pretty terrifying tbh. I crap myself every time I watch us.

There were reports Lammens won't start until after International break. Given that first game will be at Liverpool he probably won't start in that game either. Mainoo probably won't start this time either. Šeško has to start after getting that first goal at Brentford. Would start Mount but will probably be Cunha-Mbeumo behind Šeško. Actually happy Casemiro is back (might regret this after the game) as our other CM options are not great.

Felt optimistic so went for 2-2 draw. One goal from corner and one from penalty. One conceded from corner and one from some kind of silly mistake from either GK or defenders/midfielders. Even if we manage to win it won't be convincing that's for sure.

Do I really want to get up at 3am here in New Zealand just to watch us get bent over a barrel and done dry

Wonder maybe 1 day we’ll see a decent presser, where Ruben doesn’t just churn out the same answers about the formation? Fans want to know about team selection. Prior to that it was the same rehashed shite about Rashford.
I’d love to hear questions why certain players are being picked consistently, not performing and what he’s going to do about it. The keeper issue really needs to be addressed!

Massive day for us today, absolutely imperative we get the win, I’d like to see Amad back in the fold along with a debut for Lammens but sounds like that isn’t going to happen!

One things for sure - it’s going to be blowing a gail in Manchester at 3pm, that ball will be moving all over the gaff.

The drive from Birmingham is going to be fun shortly!

Once again I’ve started game day full of optimism, confident we’ll win by 3 goals with each member of our forward line getting on the scoresheet.

That’ll change when we’re 30 mins in, struggling to exert any control or quality, failing to deal with Sunderland’s pressing, and our front three are not on the same page. And it’s 0-0.

What has made people say it looks like Bayindir plays? Has he said as much?

If I see fecking Bayindir play one more time, Amorim can feck the feck off all the way to Casa Pia. Enough is enough. Don't give a shit if he wins or loses, anymore. Just pick a decent team for once, you damned asshole!

At best this is going to be the Burnley game again. We squeeze a win out despite making it look really fecking hard and some contentious decision will happen where we get given a soft penalty or a stonewall penalty for them is not given, because VAR is run by idiots.

There’s just no enjoyment in watching Manchester United these days. It’s been replaced by endurance as you watch a collective of players worth hundreds of millions play with as much cohesion as a team playing a charity friendly and they’ve only had two days together.

Conditions are going to be fun today. Expect a shot to be registered on target from a goalkick.

It’s lashing rain which is a good thing ( we won in the rain v Chelsea)
Positive vibes and all that .

Least enthusiastic I've felt about a game in a long, long time. No expectation that we'll play well or score a lot. Just hope we get three points somehow.

    Same here....Wellington. Where are you?

I'll be up. Will it be worth it?

That diminishing hope that the next game will be the one. The one where it all comes together. Where it clicks and we score freely and have control. Pfffft.

Does anyone actually think we will win?

It would be nice if for once we got the first goal and blew somebody away. Feels like we're always chasing the game

After a false dawn last week, I expect a streaky win and we then looking at positives again
I even suspect it’ll be quite an impressive win. Maybe 3-1 and then we go into the Liverpool game with the kind of hope we went into the city game with. In fact, Liverpool could be coming into the game with us with similar questions around their form like City had at that time.

I hope we win yet Amorim gets sacked anyway. Afraid we will win and it will postpone it. But I believe we will draw or lose.

I can't see us winning today, so if we win I'll be extra pleased, shocked but extra pleased.

I hope and pray we can aspire to be like Sunderland.

Sunderland are a very motivated, hardworking and organised side. We have none of these attributes and so I can only see one outcome. The actual score could be anything depending just how bad we are but I’m going for a 2-1 loss although with this lot anything can happen.

There is a lot of negativity around this game, however I will always hope for the best and somehow today could be the day we give a team a good beating. Here's hoping!

Huge day for Amorim. A win of any sorts and he prolongs the inevitable a few more weeks. Defeat however I do believe results in his sacking.

I see a similar day to the Burnley game with either a score draw or we might fall over the line late on. Whatever happens, it ain’t gonna be pretty.
