Bruno is a doubt with a thigh injury.

    I'd like to see this:

    ------------Henderson------------
    AWB - Bailly - Maguire - Shaw
    -----------------Matic----------------
    -----------VDB ----- Pogba----
    Greenwood Martial Rashford

Or if bruno is fit then more of a diamond

    ------------Henderson-------------
    AWB - Bailly - Maguire - Shaw
    --------------Matic--------------
    ----------Pogba Bruno----
    --------------VDB------------
    Greenwood ---- Martial

With rashford coming on when the defenders are tired. (I know hendo won't play but it's just what i'd like to see)

Sons out isn’t he? Good time to play them.
Is he? That's good news if true he's a quality player and would be quite a danger to our defence.

I'm a little more confident for this game. I think we'll be better.

    Home win.

I have a feeling that Son might play. Lo Celso was removed at half time last night because of some muscle tightness so he is a doubt for Sunday also but again... I expect him to take part even if its from the bench. Could be N'dombele who starts.

    ——Rashford—-Bruno—Greenwood
    Shaw——Matic——Pogba———AWB
    ———-Maguire——Bailly—-Lindelof
    —————————DeGea

    VDB-Martial-Fred to come on.

I don’t like the 3-5-2 however Ole will be worried about defence here, I smell a draw.
Two defensive fullbacks as wing-backs. Perfect.

I am pretty confident we'll get a good result this weekend but god help everyone at the club if we don't. Fans are already raging.

Exactly. They have dug and are still digging themselves an enormous hole that will be very hard to get themselves out of. After getting 3rd place last season there was an opportunity to build some belief and get some goodwill from the fans. No chance of that now.

Basically our squad is just like usual, except for Jones and Axel.

Pereira is also likely won't be involved.

Bruno seems fine from Ole's recent comments.
Considering he's already in Rome and had his medical I'd say that's pretty much nailed on mate.

Son will play Sunday. To quote Jose. Not saying he's out but maybe he can surprise us. Whenever he said simliar in the past the player in question always started the next game.

I think this game could decide who starts at CB for the remainder of the season.

Whoever starts has to have a good game.

    I hope it's Bailly.

I'd like Henderson to start but there are enough games that it's working fine at the moment. Any mistake by DDG and he's in. That is likely bringing the best out of DDG.

I'd like to see the diamond too but I doubt that will happen.

Not expected a good result tbh.

The one thing we have in our favour is Spurs’ fixture congestion. Hopefully we are sharp

To be honest, I don’t see why we should play 5 at the back vs. Mourinho. At home.
Yes I do agree with you, I think I would play our usual Strongest 11 (433) but I’d play Matic and VDB behind the front 4. I just feel Ole may differ.

I hope he´ll start Mata in this game, and see if he together with Pogba and Fernandes can take control of the midfield. If you perform, you get a chance in the first team, that should go for those over 30 as well. Greenwood will be great to put on a bit late when he easier can find room to release his shots.

Or surprise with a diamond and add energy in the midfield, and really try to dominate the possession. Go a bit crazy.

    .................... De Gea

    Bissaka - Bailly - Maguire - Shaw

    ................... Beek

    ..Fernandes ........... Pogba

    .................. Mata

    ... Rashford ..... Martial

Fans raging does not do anything to the board and Woodward, because it's just on Internet. They can just go offline and have a relaxing weekend in their own mansions.

COVID happening made sure our fans cannot group together and therefore any sorts of protest is impossible now. The Glazers would not care about fans's opinions especially during these times.

They never cared. Even during good times. They don't want fans. They want customers.

Think Bruno is a doubt for this one. Think Ole will go with the usual suspects

    DDG
    AWB Lindelof Maguire Shaw
    Matic
    Bruno Pogba
    Greenwood Martial Rashford

Ole said no one is injured from the team that started against Brighton. Don't know why people keep bringing this stuff about Bruno being a doubt?

Except for Fred and Mc Tommy who are not the first choice atm, Ole needs to help himself by not playing double pivot, especially with Pogba on the right. It's not and never working. Like others, I couldn't understand how he still keeps playing that way.

Just like when we played Palace, he used 4231 when not in possession and changed to 3412 with James as wing back when having the ball. It clearly didn't work before when we played exactly like that against Tottenham after lockdown and he had to change. He did it again(played the formation and changed it) It was hard and confused to see and understand the reason.

I know Ole has been using formation with 3 CBs too but if transfer window is not going as he expects, then he needs to use more of the midfielders we have. With the current players, there's no out and out wingers (I see James as striker too), just midfielders, attacking midfielders and strikers. Do something Ole

If Mourinho gets a result, this could be Touchline Teardown: The Sequel. He doesn't have much respect for us anymore and he'd love to get one over on Solskjaer after taking a joke utterly the wrong way and turning it into something.

Let's do Jose nasty, I hope for a controversial penalty in the 96th minute to win the 3 points.
Penalty to be taken after the final whistle has blown :smirk:
That would hurt. Ask Brighton. :smirk:

Play the board at Mourinho's own game and play McTominay on the right wing.

Can't decide whether Ole will go with a back 3 or not, leaning towards that given that Spurs will probably play 433 hoofball.

This a big test for Ole against our former manager, the first of many no doubt, but it's a test he'll pass with flying colours.

4-0 United + Jose touchline meltdown = good times ahead.
