How come the time in Melbourne is later than the time in Brisbane even though Brisbane is on the East Coast?
Because Queensland don’t operate daylight savings, which is going on in NSW/VIC

Learnt about this on a recent trip, kinda nuts

Swap Maz for Dalot and Sesko for Mbuemo because we've another game on Tuesday. We actually need a bit of rotation this week.

Brisbane is nearly 800km/500m further east, so different timezone, even though both are considered eastern. Pretty big country. Also, Sydney Melbourne change their clocks an hour in summer, Brisbane always stays the same.

Yeah, I've spent a lot of time there but never realised this. It's so far east of Melbourne it would be like Italy being an hour behind us.

Getting closer and more nervous, this lot have been a thorn in our side while being shit.

It all started in ten hag's second season where they unravelled ten hag's system in the early stages of the season and it feels like they've just been getting results against us while being naff.

Then there's them lot knocking us out of the league Cup and beating us in the Europa League final. Even their draw against us felt jammy earlier in the season.

I am predicting the same lineup, but if it's up to me, I would start Sesko ahead of Cunha and shoehorn Amad or Mbeumo in the LW role , most likely Mbeumo.

Really wanna see Maz and Benji start but I don't think Carrick will change it up, especially when it comes to RB. Dalot has been decent aka hasn't messed up recently but I feel like Maz just gives us so much more.

Agree with others on here. Dalot has been a tad better of late, but we are better with Maz.

I can't blame Carrick for sticking with the same lineup though.

United’s recent form has improved, but the team/club is still very fragile. A loss against Spurs and we will be back to asking questions about the players and manager.

United need to put a string of 6-10 games together showing the same levels each week, before any real change can be seen.

Tomorrow is going to be a difficult match.
But it’s exciting again  C’mon United!

No idea what to expect from this one. Spurs have been utter dogshit but they're still capable of somehow scoring a couple against us, you feel.

I wont be expecting us to get anything from the officials tomorrow

Referee: Michael Oliver. Assistants: Stuart Burt, Nick Greenhalgh. Fourth official: Sam Allison. VAR: Paul Tierney. Assistant VAR: Marc Perry.

Spurs has had our number for a while. It's payback time.

Maybe im the only one, I dont trust these players. 9 from 9 was more than I could have guessed, 4 wins in a row does seem daunting, not been done by us for a few years. Im gpimg for a draw, maybe a loss, happy to be corrected. My mind is just burnt by this team, the inconsistency drives me nuts.

Feels like a game for the first goal being massive cliche.

If we get one first 30 i could see us smacking them.

If they get it, no idea.

Spurs did well second half v City. Solanke always does well against us but the rest of the team do look suspect mostly this season. I don’t think Spurs have a grind out mode this season - they are emostly totally shite or very good.

I hope Carrick rotates and brings in Sesko and Mazzroui. I hope Lacey can get some minutes.

We must win tomorrow. So prob a draw then.

A lot of people last week said the game against Fulham is gonna test how we can break down a low block... I think this will actually be the one.

Do not change a winning team:

    ...............................Lammens....................
    Dalot..............Maguire..Martinez.........:..Shaw
    ....................Mainoo.....Casemiro......................
    Amad.....................Bruno........................Cunha
    ...............................Mbeumo............................

    Lammens

    Dalot
    Maguire
    Martinez
    Shaw

    Casemiro
    Mainoo

    Amad
    Bruno
    Cunha

    Sesko

I can‘t see Mbeumo being benched. I bet it will be Šeško off the bench again.

Solanke is currently playing injured. Admirable, but could make it difficult for him to sustain any form.

Want to see us win and dominate possession

? Im guessing they're all Liverpool fans

Who gives a feck about possession. It's about creating chances, restricting their chances, and winning. If you create more than the opponent with 40% possession, why does it matter.

Hate this early starts. 7.30 am start here. United haven't had much luck against Spurs, but we are in form so I think we edge this one.

A rest for Amad and Dalot.

    Lammens
    Maz - Maguire - Martinez - Shaw
    Casemiro - Mainoo
    Mbeumo - Bruno - Cunha
    Sesko

Spurs have a load of players missing with injury or being rushed back. If we are at 100% intensity and go at them the way we can, then hopefully this could be an enjoyable watch. If we don't wake up with it being an early kick off then show knows.

Tottenham haven't won in 6 games in the league. They're really a poor side. 14th in the league. They'll be the worst side Carrick has faced in his tenure and by a margin.

I’d be happy to sit back a little today, these guys are good away from home and aren’t threatening with lots of the ball. Let them come onto us and smash them on the break.

Agree. We dominated City. Yet had less possession.

We aren’t a team that can suffocate the opposition with possession, and frankly what a boring style of football that is. What we can do is be very effective with the ball.
