Agreed, mate. It's just all that because of those injuries. One or two injuries could feck up players.
That's why it's baffling. Because when he does play at his peak, he's better than any midfielder I've seen - ball control, vision, passing, strength. It's easy to get carried away.
I'm starting to think though that it's better to have someone playing an 8/10 game consistently for 30+ of the 38 games in the season, than someone who produces 9/10 performances for 10-15 games and average or below average for the rest.
On reflection, this is what made Fergie's midfield so effective even at a time when Scholes was past his prime and we didn't have the liked of Becks and Keano anymore
