Think someone may have gotten the Borthwick Jackson picture a bit wrong?

Tony Pulis teams are the worst. Shithouse tactics from a shithouse manager.
Feck me! he brings stability to all the clubs he goes to.He has very little budget to work with. He's got a couple of lazy cnuts in the team who think they are the dog's bollocks, and still gets 100% out of every player,....and you criticise him?

What is it you actually want GB?

    What will make YOU happy?
United to show attacking intent in every home match would be a start. We know teams will park the bus so why not play an attacking midfielder rather than 2 fulcrums?

The 2nd thing would be for people like you to stop rose tinting every bloody thing and take your head out of LVGs arse

Good match. What makes it memorable and one for the history books is that Rooney, the Great ROONEY, was subbed.

What? Not saying hes been brilliant of late, but hes involved in pretty much all our attacks in some way or the other.
Come on Bobcat he needs to be as that's where he plays but he's meh in that position regardless any stats his overall play is limited from right of the front 3.

A ordinary performance against a shite team. It really is superb how we are defending.

We need more players like Lingard. It's nice to see someone that runs directly at people.

Why does Sessegnon look like a quality player every fecking time he plays us?
Indeed, but we have better talent. If LVG spots them and likes what he sees, he'll play them!

What did you see out there if not attacking intent?

No need for the second paragraph. Because I am not doom and gloom over United? Sad.

Good to see a controlled shot from outside the box for the first goal, makes a change fro players blasting into the stands. Rooney not bad fort the first half and terrible in the second good to see him getting the hook.

Delighted with the win, though I don't like how we tend to lose the initiative and pull back after we take the lead. It would have been sickening had Berahino scored his chance. Important 3 points for us and now we can start hoping City and/or Arsenal drop points tomorrow.

Great goal by Lingard, it's fecking great seeing a product of our youth setup make a name for himself in the first team.

Schweinsteiger never stopped running. He's fecking great, what an attitude from the guy! Has a great engine and is a total winner. He's been great for us since his move from Bayern.

Thought Carrick was too slow in possession in the first half, but was better in the second. Unexpectedly played 180 minutes in the space of 5 days, great stuff.

The only player that had a below average game was Ashley Young. He should have been more involved on the right and when he had the ball, he fecked things up. Also, every time Jones has the ball, I'm shitting bricks. His distribution is terrible.

Martial was very good. Once again created a chance all by himself (in the first half), it's one of his main strenghts really. Did very well to win the penalty, but I was hoping he'd score a goal. Oh well, things turned out great.

Blind and Smalling were great as well. In Rondon, Smalling has another player for his pocket collection.

Well he should get down on his hands and fecking knees and pray in thanks, LVG has faith in him being on the staff. He didn't have to appoint him
At times like this having Giggs on staff is all that's keeping some fans from lynching him.

I don't get where the commentators are getting it from that it would have been the first time since 2007 we have failed to score in 3 games in a row? I swear we did it just at the end of last year! Chelsea away, Everton away and WBA home...

Loads of twitter accounts, MOTD and Talksport all spouted that stat around.

Young was really poor back there. I thought the best players on the pitch were Rojo, Lingard, Schweinsteiger and, frankly, Evans. I thought he played well. Good for him. He had a lot to do to keep us at bay.

The upside of a possession style attack is that the opposition almost never gets many attacks on us and thus they must get it right the first time. When Berinho missed that header, I was very thankful they hadn't had more chances.

This was a good performance from our boys. Very happy with this win.
