    2-0 comfortable win.
But really, just need the fecking points right now.
Jose still doesn't sound that convinced by Mkhi with the "one more step" comment, but I think him and Valencia together down the right could be excellent for us against any team.

I think Rojo and Herrera will come back in and I am not sure who will play LB, I'd like Shaw to get another game but it wouldn't surprise me if it's Blind at LB. The interesting thing is going to be whether Carrick or Mhki play, I suspect Carrick will be rested and Ander will be asked to play the holding role. On the LW I hope we bring Martial back but I expect it to be Rooney.

They are shit! Reid is banned. Wrap up the 3 points nice and quick then bring on Martial/Rashford.

Play them from the start in the LC match.West 'am wont be up for that game nearly as much especially as they are in a relegation battle

Got a feeling United will do what United tend to always do the last 3 years after a dominating win and after a bit of hope comes back.

    Muff it up. Gone 1-1

Against a side that has one player and their captain banned? We'd be absolute shit if we did anything other than a comfortable win

Bit like how we let Stoke equalise and couldn't put a single goal past Burnley and let a shambolic Arsenal escape with a point.

Or most recently put 4 past Feynoord

A lot of people are not starting with Rooney.
I'd definitely have him as a starter for this because he was decent against Swansea and Feyenoord.
So, given that he is in good form and he seems to make assists and score a few goals, I'd definitely start him.

Struggling to see much reason for change, other than de Gea to come back in. Some will say Carrick can't be playing two games in a week, but I see no reason why he can't play 60-70 minutes (or even the full game) here then sit out the League Cup fixture. My money right now would be on Mkhitaryan dropping to the bench, even though he was awesome last night, he still probably isn't up to speed fitness wise (which is a great thought to think how much better he can play). Hererra is most likely to come in, or Lingard/Rashford.

I'm feeling very tentative about this game and the replay on Wednesday. Playing the same team twice in such quick succession usually means we'll end up losing one of them.

Despite the atrocious form they've been in, expect Adrián to turn into a one-man wall with James Collins a colossus in defence; Payet to score a 40 yard FK, Zaza to turn into the bald Messi and Ashley Fletcher to haunt us with a last minute winner. West Ham are the ultimate game-raising cnuts.

Having said that, it would be a nice way of getting revenge after they stopped us getting a CL place and their fans attacked the team bus.

As you can tell, I have a deep-seated hatred of West Ham.

    DDG
    Valencia Jones Blind Darmian
    Carrick Herrera
    Mata Pogba Rooney
    Ibra

This is probably the most realistic XI and to be honest it's fair for the player's performance and I'm happy with it.

Rooney was good in Swansea game, was also good when he came on from the bench against Arsenal, my motm against Feyenoord so I think he deserves start.
I will start Darmian over Shaw because Darmian has been very good lately.
I will start Blind over Rojo because I just don't like how everytime Rojo made interceptions against Arsenal, a second later he gave the ball straight to Arsenal players. WHU is currently without Reid and Carroll so I ain't worry much with the opposition set pieces.
Carrick has been the key of our results and protection to our backfour this season.

Let's hope we can carry on from the other night. Get a nice run together and we could scrape top 4.

Sunday game not on TV. Screw you Sky & BT.
Not really. It is our fault for being in the Europa League and our games being moved. Although I am surprised they didn't pick this game anyway. They are showing us on Wednesday, so it might have been too much for the neutrals.

Won't be surprised if fellaini started this one.:( Not that I want him to but mourinho will be worried that the will murder us in the air and will want to counter that!

We can't stop here. This is bat country.
I thought Mhiki was better against Feyenoord. Would be happy to see either of them there to be honest.
It's great Mkhitaryan came in and did do well but I reckon we're gonna have to be patient with him.

Can't see him just starting every game from now on and a mainstay being dropped.

Of course eventually both will play (hopefully). It's nice to have selection headaches in midfield.

Be a shame to see us revert back to a 4231, when we've looked so good in a 4141 of late.
We sort of have to if Carrick isn't starting. Nobody else can play the '1' to a good enough standard.

Exactly, which is why I was surprised to see Carrick start against Feyernoord. That said, it was a must win game.

Maybe he will start tomorrow, then have a rest in the league cup game a few days later, as that games of less importance.

It would be complete madness to drop Mata. He has been our best player this season.

I think it'll be the same front four with maybe one change - Rash/Lingard in for Mkhitaryan.

Harsh on Mata but I want to see more of Mhiki.
Mata is arguably our best player right now. Why on Earth would you drop him?

This reminds me of when some fans wanted DDG dropped, just so they get to see our new signing V.Valdes, play.
I guess its "shiny new toy" syndrome.

    Indeed.
Jose has made it clear in his last presser that Miki is not ready to play in the EPL.
Jose clearly has not forgotten the horror show Miki put on against MCFC.

It's nice to have selection headaches in midfield.
This is the first time in a very long time, since when we have had a selection headache in our attack.
Last season because our attack was so woeful, it was a case of picking the least worst attackers. Right now, we have some great attackers, one of whom, will be left on the bench. And this is the way it should be at MUFC.

Let's hope not. I think he's finally realised that Carrick, Pogba and Herrera are the best midfielders we have.
Unfortunately the thought might enter his head if this happens.

    Carroll could return vs United
Andy Carroll could be in for a shock return vs United at Old Trafford.

The former Liverpool forward has been riddled with injury problems since his move from Liverpool to West Ham but Hammers boss Slaven Bilic has hinted the big striker could be in line for a start tomorrow.

    Bilic said:

He’s been training with us for three days, He came back after a long injury and he’s very close. He could be in the squad. We’re going to see, because we are not talking about two weeks of training so we can say definitely. It has been this week, so we’ll see.

Very nice indeed, still have Martial and Rashford to compete for spots.
